I've gone with a "ring group", but I lost the ability to have shared voicemails. I had shared voicemails with "call queues" (after a lot of work), but dropped the "call queue" because there's no call waiting with call queues (a 2.5 year old request is outstanding). I found a page describing how to have shared voicemails during closed hours or if you put the phone on forwarding, but there's not a way to have shared voicemails for missed calls during open hours.

We normally text through our ATS (applicant tracking system)/CRM (candidate relationship management) software with an occational response back through our Ring Central service. My questions are: 1) Since we use the ATS/CRM software for texting out to applicants/talent are we covered under an umbrella registration through them (I have posed this question to them and they have no idea what I am talking about) and if that is the case do we still need to register with TCR? 2) If only receiving text through Ring Central are we still required to register (if we do not need to because of ATS/CRM)?

Does anyone know if there is a way to NOT require entering voicemail PIN to access VM when calling from a user's assigned IP Phone? Our old voip carrier allowed this setting to be turned on per user but I don't seem to find a setting like this in RC?

I can not adjust the ringer volume, for some reason. This is beyond annoying! I work with headphones all day, and the ringer almost blew my ears out yesterday. I can not adjust just the ringer volume! Am I missing something? Or Ring Central is missing this feature?

Has anyone else seen this. I have 2 agents who only have OB skilling assigned but the latest report (run weekly) shows multiple incidents of RONA. And not Refusals.

Having multiple Users reporting that group messages from their personal RC (non HV) accounts are acting up when the external part messages back. They are coming in as a separate text instead of on the group thread. It was last working 3/13 I'm told. TCR Reg is complete.

I would like to export a list of our users/phones and need the phone serial number. Is this possible?

I have two phones in the same office and they are currently both ringing out with different phone numbers. For example, when you call a customer from one of the phone the caller ID number shows up as 123-456-7890, while the other phone shows as 012-345-6789 (examples obviously). I need them to both ring out with the same number. I have two other offices set up this way but for some reason it is not allowing me to set up these phones that way.

After April 1st when the new regulations go into effect for texting, can we send a text to clients to get their consent to text. Or can we only get consent through email, a form to fill out etc?

I have been trying to add numbers to our account for the last 6 days and have had no luck. We are in Oregon and it doesn't give us any 541 area codes except for Eugene but there are no numbers. Even Portland has no numbers. What is find ridiculous is they want us to call to get new number, that is so unprofessional and not what we are paying good money for. I even tried to select Eugene and it says that I need to pick numbers in the United States. I have had an open ticket on this since 3/21.

How do I designate an existing line to be a shared line? I follow the procedures set up in RC but it wants be to create an entirely new line with a new number? Ideally, I would like to take an existing MVP line that we already have and make a shared line. Is this possible and how do you do it?

I registered for TCR and am at the point where it's asking to create a campaign. Is there an option to send out mass texting with the campaigns? Ex. I want to send 5,000 texts at once to my database about a promo. I didn't think RingCentral had this optin but am not sure now. Please advise thanks!

Is there a way to tell what number an incoming call dialed?For example, if some one dials our -8155 number but its set to forward to two other numbers simultaneously, is there a way to tell that the incoming call was dialed to -8155 and not the other two?

I have noticed since the time change in the UK at the weekend the call logs we are exporting from RingCentral are showing one hour behind the current time. If I export a log from RingCentral to CSV the times are correct.What could be causing the log times in the API to be 1 hour slow?

With Multiple Account Numbers How can we label incoming calls to identify the Call source on multiple devices? We have a main line with several extensions connected to multiple devices. Is there any way to have all incoming calls identified by the call source or which extension is dialed? I.E incoming call may come from a similar source but ring several devices - yet we don't know what source or company the incoming call is for.

For the past several weeks I have seen an uptick in unauthorized login attempts using our Admin account. Previously the attempts were using published numbers but now I am seeing numbers that are not published and Internet searches come up empty. I know that attempting to hack into accounts is an all day every day thing regardless of what application but was hoping there was something that RingCentral could do to block bad actors.When I reached out to support and posed the question of blocking IP addresses within their network I was advised that I would need my network team to create blocks within our firewall. Obviously this doesn't make sense since RingCentral can be accessed from anywhere.I am curious as to how other members of the community are addressing unauthorized login attempts.Thank you

Regarding getting my customers opted to the text registry. I have 1000 customers and I don't want to email or text each customer one at a time to get approval. How can send them all messages and upload the responses all at the same time. Also who and where do I upload the approvals. What does the accepted approval look like. Can it be email or a text thread asking the opt in quesiton then having the answer? How and where do we upload this opt in form to. Do we do it directly to the TCR or though ring central.?

We the registered the TCR though ring central. 1) Can and should we also register with the website www.campaignregistry.com 2) Is there like a customer portal with the TCR to show you if there any any complaints or fines on your account. What happens in the future if there are fines or issues with your compliancy where do we handle these matter. Though ring central or directly on TCR websites?
