For meetings that require minutes to be taken, meeting recordings will often be paused, to ensure details are captured/written correctly during playback. In the new ringcentral platform, if the video is paused for too long (greater than a couple of minutes), the video will not restart. I have to exit/re-enter the platform to start the video again. This causes significant delay in the minute-taking process.

Hi there, setting up deskphones for new hires and noticed we have been having to go thru each phone individually and manually change the no of line appearances so it only shows the first 2 lines as the user opposed to all 6 of them. While this works Im looking for a method to streamline this more so that we can change this setting en masse rather then person by person.

We have moved to Microsoft Azure and implemented WVD locally. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations running the RingCentral App in an WVD environment..

We subscribe to webhooks for each extension and log all incoming/outgoing calls along with the call recording.In case of warm transfer/conference calls, each call is treated as a separate call as the session ids are different, but logically from the customer perspective, it is just one call. Is there currently any option to tailor service outage notifications? We would like to be able to modify the frequency or specify which type of outage triggers notifications instead of getting them hourly for every single service outage that may not affect our account.

I can't delete any blocked number.Furthermore I have a number "1" in the list somehow on the SuperAdmin extension and now no one can call any of our numbers, I called and escalated ... Still no solution 3 weeks now ... The developers said it is a "known issue" ... 15 year client and now our numbers are useless... Any ideas or suggestions / work arounds would be appreciated while we port away our numbers. Thanks.

I'm using C# with RingCentral's SDK, I'm trying to get a list of all DeviceID's and MAC's, the only way I can see is by making a bunch of calls after pulling an extension list?My end goal is to locate the users physical desk phone's deviceID using the MAC or IP address.Is there an easier way to do this than making a ridiculous amount of calls after pulling an extension list?Thank you

I'm new, so maybe I just do not see it...but how can I make sure an extension does NOT show in the Ring Central app list of extensions? This is a security issue.

We have a basic 3 legged OAuth web app that allows us to edit extensions, but we keep running into invalid refresh token & token not found errors, which have no explanation or documentation tied to them. I read from some other post that the SDK manages refreshing the tokens automatically, but I haven't seen any official documentation stating so. If the SDK doesn't automatically refresh, what is the best way to refresh them?

When clicking to access the Online Account Portal we continue to het the following error. From the documentation it seems that, by design, RingCentral webhooks do not support retrying and only sends the notifications once.Its seems a poor design and will be very difficult to ensure that no notifications are lost. Even high availability environments in the cloud (Azure or AWS) do not ensure 100% availability.Similar systems will try to publish the notifications a number of times, for a specific period time and only after that, the notification will be dropped and won't be delivered.This feature is quite important for us when integrating with RingCentral. So I would like to know if a retrying mechanism for webhooks is something you are considering to implement in a future version of your software and if so when will that be available?

It appears as though RingCentral records calls in Mono, and when you run the mp3 through a transcription service - the speaker is always changing. Is there a way to make that NOT happen? So the first person speaking is speaker 1, or speaker 1 is associated with the agent on inbound, etc.

When we have staff turnover we want to use the same extension numbers but change the name of the person at the particular extensions. I update the name in every place I can find but the old names still appear when you dial the extension.Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My new coworker's phone makes an extended beep sound (two tones) when the person they are speaking with hangs up. Is there any way to turn that off, or down? Everyone can hear it from the speakerphone, even when the call is handled via the handset.

I am very new to ring central. I have a single node dummy application and I want to reach that application by dialing a number, either through a softphone or a physical phone, the problem I am facing is that I am in India, and when I dial the default number assigned by ring central (Which is in the US), I am not able to reach the number. Is there any way I can test my application by dialing a number

One of my colleagues left the company and didn't delete a recurring meeting he had organized. Even though I've declined all instances of the meeting in Google Calendar,it's still appearing in Ring Central Video meetings.I've tried disconnecting my Ring Central account from my Google Calendar and then re-connecting it, but the problem persists. I don't see any way to remove meetings from Ring Central; it appears to show all the meetings in my calendar, but it also includes this meeting which I've declined.I'm stumped
