The requirement is that user can:read messages across all extensionsview provisioning info of all users in companyread call logs of companyNote: The user would be accessing above data through APIs.To achieve 2nd I got the section Users in User Management and for 3rd Company Call LogBut could not find any specific permission to achive 1st requirement. Hello,I'm trying to use the analytics API to create some useful performance metrics for our users, but the data isn't matching what I would expect so it would help to understand where it's coming from.For example, I have an API call that uses callsByResponseType, but when I evaluate the results against the call log, they don't match. For example, I have someone who, according to the analytics API, answered 22 call queues last month. However, looking at the call log I can see at least 40 that they answered.I'd like to figure out how the API calculates those totals so I can figure out what's causing the discrepancies.Thank you!

I got an email today informing me that due to "industry changes" my SMS have been categories as A2P and "to continue sending SMS messages, you will need to transition to one of our A2P compliant solutions, such as toll-free SMS or High Volume SMS." This came as a surprise to me as 90% of my business is done via text messages (clients sending images for review, quotes, updates) and the ability to send SMS is key. Is anyone else dealing with this issue now and what options have you considered?

I'm seeing a discrepancy between the number of inbound calls in the performance report and what is in the call log. For example, in looking at a particular day, the call log shows 69 inbound calls whereas the performance report is 58. There is a 8-15 call discrepancy for each day that I've looked at.I've looked at the call logs to see if I can isolate what calls aren't being included, but the performance report for the queue don't provide enough detail to figure out which calls are being filtered out.

I'm trying to use the call detail report described here, https://developers.ringcentral.com/engage/voice/guide/analytics/reports/call-detail-report , but I don't know what the base URL should beI have tried https://platform.ringcentral.com/api/v1/admin/accounts/~/reportsStreaming but this gives a 404 which suggests https://platform.ringcentral.com might be the wrong base URL but what is the the correct one?regards.Ed

Need to share a video during a meeting and need the participants see the video AND HEAR THE AUDIO. RingCentral Video does not appear to have this option. How do I get participants to hear the computer sound?

I'm looking for the ability to share a video with sound in a video meeting. Is there a way to map from RC to SFDC, the number that someone dialed to reach our RC system? We have a few different numbers we have for marketing purposes, and would like to track in Salesforce which specific numbers our inbound contacts are dialing to reach us.We seem to have a field for it in SF, but no way of mapping that data from RC.. has anyone else wanted/been able to accomplish this?

Hi All,Due to a malfunctioning synchronization, my RingCentral account now has about 8,000 contacts consisting mostly of duplicated entries. I am unable to figure out how to reset the contacts. I checked with RingCentral support and they did not have a way to delete all contacts. It is not possible for me to do this one at a time. Even a screen macro would not work because RingCentral does not show the delete button in the same place for every contact.Does anyone have a script I can use to delete all contacts so I can start over?Thank you in advance.

I am looking for a simple C# that can download call recordings.I have looked at https://github.com/ringcentral/RingCentral.NetSet up a sandbox app made a test call and recorded it. But I am lacking in the ability to just have a simple app that downloads to a local folder on the computer it runs on.Does anyone have something I can use?

I'd like to port our current xfintity # to ringcentral. We are just 1 user but when asked to map the number it shows I have 2 ringcentral numbers. The main number and an ext number with my name as the user. I would assume I would map it to the main number? I dont need the second ext number. Did I set something up wrong and how do I get rid of it?

I'm trying to authorize access to the RingCentral Embeddable Widget. After authorizing it now asks the user to confirm the emergency address but the accept button doesn't work so it's not possible to authorize the widget.The console shows an API error.The same happens for me with the demo on the RingCentral site.It has been working fine previously to this change but never asked for address confirmation before.

Multiple tasks across multiple teams in our organization are losing messages in the conversations of task. We are also losing the updates that crossposted into the corresponding posts in the appropriate teams.Are there expiration periods on the posts in a task's conversation or is there a known bug where these disappear? We had been using the conversation panel or tasks extensively so it would be a big issue to have to switch to attachments or some other workaround.Example here. The red line represents an area where originally the task had a posted update, but the text is now missing both from this area AND from the team chat.Thank you,

Does RingCentral adjust breaks and lunches when meetings are added?

Hello, I created an application using Filemaker in which we store client phone numbers, I want to make it where the user can click on the phone number and RingCentral will process the phone call. However I am not able to make the RingOut endpoint work.I am using cURL to make the request, the staff is using the RingCentral Desktop Application for Mac.For some info:I have successfully done API calls like sms, fax etc.When I run the RingOut endpoint I just get "in progress" but the RingCentral application does not open up and process the Call.Any help is much appreciated.

I need to know when a call coming to my cell is from ring central/my business. How do I set it up so it shows that it is a business call being forwarded?

Hi, my client has a IVR with Ringcentral and then we have subscriptions made for the webhooks. Do you know if there is a way to know which calls are being made by the IVR to the call queues? I can't get the information and I need it to send SMS when the call is dropped. Thanks

Has anyone had issues with Scheduler?I installed it a week or two ago via the On Premises install and it would show up under the Outlook 2016 Ribbon when I click New Appointments. This week it is greyed out so I removed it. After re-adding now it only shows up when I create a New Email and only if I click the blue Add-Ins icon on the ribbon. One machine I am unable to Sign In as the Sign In button in the right nav doesn't do anything. A second machine I can sign in but I only get the options within the right navigation box, I don't get any time or date options within my email. If I do the same process in the portal (again On Premises; ex; mail.company.com/owa) I can sign in, I get the options in the right nav and in my email body I can schedule times and dates.
