Was this feature removed in the latest desktop version?!! Only video call is available that we have seen. Not every conference call needs or wants to be video, as a long-time customer we are disappointed that Ring Central removed this feature that we had relied on and will be a consideration on our next renewal.

Hello, I created an app that does the Ring Out end point. Before when we had the RingCentral classic app AND the phone app, when a user would make a "Call" from my app, it would use the Ring Out End Point and open up the phone app to process the call. Ever since the update when the RingCentral app was merged with the phone app; the app does not open up when a user clicks to make a call.

Where can I download the RingCentral App BETA released today that includes HUD?

The mobile app has random strangers listed under "Guests" that need to be deleted.When I upgraded my app, over 40 "guests" appeared. I couldn't delete them so I uninstalled and reinstalled the old app. It recently upgraded and I have unwanted guests. How do I delete them?

Customers have complained about how loud the connecting and hold music is. There is a slider to adjust the volume, but it will not save. It goes back to the default, which is the full volume. This seems to be an oversight on the part of the programmers. Customers should not have to turn down their phones just for the hold music, then turn it back up to talk to someone. Hold music should be able to be set at a decent volume. Did you know that your hold music for Ring Central is extremely loud as well? I have to turn down my phone when I'm put on hold, then turn it back up when a customer support person gets back on the phone.

I am trying to retrieve faxes received, but the documentation is not very clear as to where I can get the extensionId or the accountId? does anyone know where this information is? also, what is the best endpoint to run?,I am trying to retrieve Faxes received, however, I am not sure where the accounted and extensionId are? The RingCentral Mobile App, it should or can it have multiple user logins saved to it? That way users can switch from one user to the other on the fly like how a facebook app does it.

Occasionally when staff create breakout rooms, some participants do not show up on the breakout room list. We have resorted to asking those participants to leave the meeting and re-join, which sometimes works and results in us being able to assign them to a room. However, there are some individuals who still do not show up in the breakout room list even after exiting and re-joining the meeting. Is this a known issue?

Why are assignees names being dropped off of tasks on Glip? Even when we edit the task and add the assignee back on, it drops them again. Also, we are having a problem with Assignees not being able to see their tasks even though they are listed as an assignee on a task.

How do I transfer the lines to our on call service for lunch or in office meetings during working hours.,I am trying to figure out how to transfer the lines to our after hour service when we need to have an in office meeting or lunch during working hours.

I'm running Windows 10 (version 1909) and RingCentral Classic (version 20.2.21 E. 7.1.8).  I've noticed Windows Notification for a RC inbound call will only appear on my screen for about 5 seconds and then disappear.  I've tried adjusting the option for Windows Settings for "show notifications" to 1 minute.  Outlook's new email notifications will stay on the screen for 1 minute but inbound calls still disappear after 5 seconds.  One other observation, when I get an incoming call, RingCentral Classic doesn't switch to the foreground (adding to my frustration to answer the call in time).    Any suggestions?  

I get this message when trying to place a call from my laptop.It allows me to receive, or switch calls from the phone to the laptop, but not to make a call.Same account different device: I can easily make calls from my app on my phone.How can I solve this?

After deleting call log, missed calls are still being displayed on phone panel.

Hi @Phong Vu,We are getting "Refresh Token Expired" errors even when we tried refreshing the "refresh token" before the 7 days expiration of the refresh token.It seems like when we refresh the refresh token, we get a new refresh token that is different than before but the new "refresh_token_expire_time" is still the same as the old one.Is this a known problem and how do we fix it?We use the Python SDK, and here's what our code pretty much looks like:res = platform.refresh() save_new_refresh_token(res.json().refresh_token)Thank you so much for your help.

Raise hand is missing.When using GLIP meetings for Windows and IOS versions the raise hand function is not present anywhere in the meeting panels.How or when can the raise hand function be used?

This error seems to occur when a user uninstalls ring central classic and then attempts to install the new ring central app. We have been unable to resolve this for multiple users.

Many names under the text heading have gray dots, one green dot. If I mouse over the name the dot disappears. All of the texts have been previously viewed

My phone number's call forward settings on ext 7, ending in 8561 was changed in Dec to an unknown number. Someone accessed my account and made these changes. I am the only user and one with access to my accounts. The history log also does not display AM or PM like on ALL the other actions on my account, weird huh? Like it was an internal thing. I hope nobody there is making unauthorized changes to my account.I called and your Support team said it came from the device I used to log in. Why would I forward my business line to an unknown number of 6502125156? One of your reps said it was a Ring Central number, not sure if that was correct. I need to know who and how this happened, and to be sure it does not happen again. I have already changed the password on this extension.
