My customers are all getting an "All Circuits are Busy" message when they try to call our 800 number. Is there an outage presently? 800-691-3545

People call my RingCentral number have been getting this message all day. I am in Vancouver, Canada. I called into RingCentral and they can't fix the problem. Quite frustrating.

At the moment only the main fax sender/recipient will display the company fax number on outgoing fax messages. For every other user that sends a fax, the main phone number will be displayed instead of a fax number. This needs to be updated as soon as possible. It is an essential feature for multiple fax users, especially where a fax response is needed.

Why isn't the time out feature, user friendly? I don't understand why we are all pigeon-holed into the same security circle. Everyone's company operates on different levels/hours/time strategies. I would like to be able to configure how long the time out feature will wait before it kicks on. Or, at least another option (such as shut off) instead of the program being set at your standards. I am at my desk most of the day but switch back and forth on different projects. And then I shut down the computer before leaving. I am required to run call logs while I'm here. When I configure the call log and have to stop to check something else, it is a HUGE inconvenience to come back to my call log to find that I have been bumped out of the system and have to enter all of the parameters, again!! And then find out where in the log that I had left off. Please change this!!

Recently in the last 3 or 4 months RingCentral decided that we couldn't use a duplicate email when setting up an account. I already have 3 conference rooms that we use the same email for. Now that I am setting up a 4th conference room I am prevented from using the same email address. Why? I wasn't asked to create new email accounts when the change happened so I don't see that duplicate emails are a problem since I have them. I can use the same email for notifications and the system doesn't have a problem. I see a check box to not look for duplicate addresses when setting up an account but it is greyed out. If I can't do it don't put a box on the screen. So what would be the problem with a duplicate address?

I could copy and paste my chat message history in RC classic, but it's not working in the newest RC app 20.4.10.284. I need to download my chat message history logs for work. How to do it easily?

I need the full names of participants to show on the RingCentral Meeting report. Prior to July 15, 2020 the participant's full name displayed as indicated during the call. After July 15, 2020 the names are truncated on the report. How can I get the full name to show again?

All my group is using MacOS 10.13 or above, almost every time we start a Video conference with Glip, it prompts to download the RingCentralMeetingsInstaller.pkg again, which installs RingCentral Meetings.app, and its not an update, its the same old version that was already installed, dated 12 March 2019This is confusing each user, most are not tech savvy, as they need to run the installer, ignore the popup that suggests to login to a meeting, then go back to Glip, and pick Join again. There is no way for us to know whether it will need to download and install again or not, I cant predict or repeat it, but on my Mac, based on the downloaded files, its about 50% of the time, over 2 months and I video conference once a week, and this symptom occurs on every user, both on our local network and remote.I have submitted a support request for this, but no update as yet. Anyone else?

Hello,This is a feature-add request. My organization wants to be able to identify cell meeting call-ins more quickly by name (not manually changing their name). All of our call-in people are RingCentral users, so the feature I am requesting would be for RingCentral to check the cellphone number of someone calling in, and if that number has been added to a RC profile, display the name of the person.Alternatively, if this is too complicated a feature, the ability to go into guest user phone numbers and manually set display names in RC so that when those numbers do call into meetings their name shows would be a good #2 solution. Thanks,

Can either the built in speakers for a laptop or the internal speaker in a workstation produce an adjustable ringer sound and not my USB headset when a call comes in? I don't always wear my headset and the ringer cannot be heard sometimes. Can the ringer sound only go to the internal speaker of a workstation, the built in speakers of a laptop or an external speaker so you know when a call comes in? Does this make sense?

We're in the process of getting ready to roll out the fax function of RingCentral, starting with outbound faxing first [baby steps!]. While testing and fiddling with how we wanted it to look and feel, I would send test faxes, and then receive a Fax Message Transmission Result to my own email. So far, so good. I then finalized the configuration [I thought] and assigned the various fax lines their own email addresses. I also added user email addresses to each fax line [department-based] in preparation for their use. Now when I send a fax, the Transmission Result email is only going to the email address associated with the fax line, and not the actual sender [in this case, me]. Is there a way to change this? If you have 50 people associated with a given fax line, I don't want to necessarily have to give them all access to that email account. Or am I stuck? Suggestions certainly welcome!

I am trying to set up Call Handling to forward all calls from certain states (using area codes) to a particular extension. I know I can do this by adding an advanced call handling option, but can I bulk import the area codes I want somehow? One at a time, for over 300 area codes will be horrible. Thanks.

I know how to submit the update so our caller id name is updated in CNAM...but does anyone have any tips on how I can go about updating caller ID on other databases for carriers? For example, a few months back I resent the caller ID name per the instructions and now when I check the CNAM database, it's updated there...but when I call my cellphone it still gives a different name. (luckily the name is still something that makes it clear that it's the organization I work for...we updated CNAM to "BBB" but the callerid on my cell from various numbers show up as "better bus bru" , "Bbb ctrl dispute", "Better Business", etc. We have had most of our numbers for years, but newer numbers we have added from ringcentral will sometimes show old people/names even though they don't have anything associated in CNAM.Any tips would be much appreciated!

Hello,We are rolling out Polycom VVX 450. The main display has 3 columns or zones for lack of a better term. "Left" Columns has the 6 line keys, Middle column has the time and date, and the right column has the other 6 lines. The middle zone is rather large and cuts off the line descriptions for the left and right line keys. Is there a way to adjust this? You can turn off the date/time but the middle "column" is still there. Seems like a big waste of screen area.

I would like to have an option to be able to disable the Call Waiting tone when using the RC Phone app. I would like to keep the pop-up, but not have the Call Waiting tone in my ear when a second call comes in.

When my mobile rings through the Ring Central app. There is a great delay in the call being connected after answering. I have to say "hello" three times before I hear the caller. It is rather frustrating!

We want to be able to allow users access to "User Hours". Unfortunately Role permission to change it is grouped under "User Info" permission which contains other fields we can not allow users to change. We disables "User Info" to prevent users from changing their account email address in our SSO environment. If they do that, they are unable to sign-in via campus SSO and they loose access to their RC account. Some items underneath User Info->Settings and Permissions are appropriate and very useful to end users. For instance "User Hours".Is there another way, or future plans, to allow users access "User Hours" without also allowing them to change the account email?

Is the RC for Windows Phone application going to be sunset and replaced by RC Classic (Glip)? I thought I remembered hearing this last year and wanted to ask if there was an update.

Hello,I we just got setup with a couple of Cisco phones and I setup some speed dials but they continually alternate between the display name and blf2649580228 or similar numbers. I tried to go in and delete the speed dials but when I do there is no information listed in the speed dial location? I have rebooted the phone so not sure what else to do.

Meeting is scheduled with "enable join before host" enabled. Host joins meeting, but attendees are unable to join. Attendees receive message "waiting for host", but host is already in the meeting. This issue does not happen with all meetings and there is no commonality to when it occurs.

Here is a feature that I would love to see. The Why: When a meeting ends, many times you need to grab a few key people and do an immediate debrief meeting or debrief call (no video). Yes as host I could wait til certain people hopped off and say, the following people hang on, but occasionally you want that to be anonymous. I could go to my personal room, invite people, and send, but there should be a WAY easier method. For example: During the main meeting creation, a check box "Schedule Follow-Up Call for Debrief". You can set as phone call or video meeting. Either pre-invite people to it to block time, or option to wait and see attendees list. Many times people get invited or don't make meetings. You host the meeting, it has video, recording, customers, etc. You want to end the meeting and cease all recording and then immediately flip to the follow-up meeting with restricted attendees. When I hit "end meeting", if pre-scheduled, a new meeting immediately

We need reporting by IVR Menu extension press. How many people press 1 for sales for example.

I have a customer who has their reception phone programmed with two other phones to ring simultaneously in a ring group (those phones are the backup receptionist and lunch room). During the day there might not be anyone at these three phones so they would like to have another extension have the capability to pickup calls to their main number from time to time. They do not want this 4th phone to be part of the ring group so it rings for every incoming call to the main number. In the PBX world this was called Call Pickup or Directed Call Pickup. My customer is using Yealink T48S phones on their RC account. Has anyone figured out a way for this to be accomplished?

Is there a way to have QM Evaluation forms Auto-save as we're filling them out. RC Contact Center doesn't recognize that I'm working on an active form, and when it times out, it closing out my form as well. I lose all the information I have already inputted. Every time I save it manually, it closes out and I have to go re-open. It is costing me a lot of time and frustration. Please let me know what others do with this problem.
