We believe it would be helpful to our employees, especially as one has recently come out as non-binary. It is possible to launch the RC app and initiate actions via uri schemes (https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/basics/uri-schemes). E.g. it is possible to initiate a phone call from via a link in a web page.Is it possible to start a video call via such uri scheme?It should launch the rcapp and behave just like clicking the "Start video call" button on a contact profile - ringing that contact for a video call.This would allow our users to launch video calls from a web page, without looking up contact information in the RC app.

All posts can be deleted in the messaging conversation list except video call history. This is obviously an oversight. I do not want my conversation list cluttered with my video call history. I don't want to add an emoji or bookmark the video call history post which are the only options.

I'm training new staff for the first time in several years; and we're using the Ring Central Desktop App which is nice.  But, it doesn't have HUD.  This feature is ESSENTIAL when training telephone support staff.  Especially now that no one is in the same office with anyone else.  It's absolutely ESSENTIAL to be able to monitor who's on a call and then to "monitor" that conversation so managers can coach or take over the call.  I installed the old Ring Central Phone App along side the new one for now.  But, please add HUD to the Ring Central Desktop App.

I recently applied for a high volume sms account as I work for a company that wants to use ring central more for it's mass text messages. A few days back, I got a message saying that I the number I use for programmable messages was enabled for this:Now this is the number (+12815170550) I used for sending messages, it is not the number I login with. I know there is a way to tie multiple phone numbers to one account, and that is a feature I am interested in. However currently I am trying to learn more about sending mass sms messages, and when I login to the link in the email (https://ringcentral-a2p-sms.herokuapp.com/) I get the following message:

I see on the Directory Integration page that System for Cross-Domain Identity Management(SCIM) is an option. I also found that Azure Active Directory can leverage SCIM for user and group provisioning and de-provisioning. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/use-scim-to-provision-users-and-groups I'd rather go this route if possible than setup Okta and use yet another product just to get directory integration working.Has anyone done this successfully? We are polling call logs and extension data in our App.We have noticed that the refresh tokens expiry after 7 days. What this means is that the customer must login and re-authenticate every week for the integration to continue working.Is this the customer experience RingCentral expect?

Around 12:30PM ET the desktop RC app stopped showing unread message counts for Direct Messages and Teams. The pop-up still occurs, but if you don't click on it in time, then you don't know in which Direct Message or Team chat to go looking for it and all other missed updates.It's similar to the Oct 13th issues, except today the message are there , but we just don't know new ones arrived or where to look for them.

Hi there, I have Super Admin privileges for our account and I am logged into the main account. However there is a user listed on our team in the desktop app that does not work here anymore. Her email is not attached to any extension, nor is it even on our list of users on the admin portal.I cannot edit/manage team members to remove her, I can't see any option to edit user profiles.It is extremely confusing for coworkers to see the option to contact someone who essentially does not exist (within our firm) anymore. Please help?

Most of our customers use other apps for messaging, chat, teams, etc. Is there a way to suppress the RingCentral features in the New Desktop App? The old App was slimmer and simpler, since customers were not using the additional messaging/chat features. The new App is too cluttered.

My teams utilize the team description and some people can see it on the right hand side where you can see all of the members etc. My description is only at the very top of the entire conversation and it causes me to forget to update it.How can I get it pinned to the "details" section of the chat?

My account can only have a maximum ring group user count of 30, I talked to tech support and they said the max was 50 but wasn't able to provide to me, even if I upgraded my account. Is there a way to increase my ring group count?

I am currently using the message store export (/restapi/v1.0/account/~/message-store-report) to generate exports for fax and sms. Under normal circumstances, this will generate 2 zip files (one with the report logs in json format, and one with the attachments). Due to the nature of our app, we only need the report logs in json format, and not the attachments. Is there a way to create a message store export without the attachments?I realize that I can just ignore the attachments on my end. But the real reason behind this is to speed up the report generation on the RingCentral side. Sometimes we export a report for the date range of a week or a month, and it takes close to an hour if not longer. I don't know how it works behind the scenes, but my suspicion is that the long waiting times are due to the large amount of content (attachments) that are being streamed into the zip file. My hope is that generating this report without attachments will be faster and also create less

Hello,I am encountering the following error when I login on the Desktop client. I can log into the web app without issue as long as I don't checkbox the remember me option in the web client login.

How do I add a text widget to our website?

In Zoom, you can start a video call with one person and it will "ring" their computer with a pop up until they accept or decline. This will occur even if you already have one person in the meeting call.In RingCentral, you can "ring" the first person, but to invite someone after that and still hold a video call with them, you have to give them a link, rather than calling them directly.It also does not let you choose from a list of contacts inside RingCentral but forces you to use a phone number, email address, or copy/pasting link.

When sharing screens, participants only see "Share Screen Minimized" when the window is in fact maximized. I have tried to switch screens, closing all other windows, and sharing only the app. This happens to users in our organization while they are sharing, they have no idea participants can't see the screen until someone else speaks up.

Hi there,I'm setting up a new app and trying to access DEVTEST/Sandbox to give permission to my user but when launching with Online Account Portal button in Credentials, I get a continual spinning wheel. If I try to access via the weblink I am presented with a login form which after successfully completing I get a quick spinning wheel followed by a 504 Gateway Time-Out error.Is there an issue with the environment currently or is there something that I am missing.Many thanks,Sandy

I use Ringcentral for Windows and some of my contacts synced and some did not. On the iPhone app all contacts synced. I use chrome not outlook. How can I get the rest of my contacts to sync in the windows app?U.S. Version 8.0.4.20112
