I was experiencing some strange call behavior. Calls to my main extension were going to other phone numbers which I had used in the past. Turns out that ALL of my old forwarding numbers, which were toggled off in Call Handling, had been toggled back on. Calls to my RC extension where ringing all ten of the numbers in my ring group. I still use those other forwarding rules from time to time but I had NOT toggled them on. This was something which RingCentral did. In talking with another company which uses RC, they experienced the SAME problem within the past few weeks where all numbers in their ring group were inexplicably toggled on.

How can you set up additional agent states such as Lunch Break Etc? And it there is a way to make those changes, what report will populate that information?

On your new app for Windows desktop I do not see the toggle on and off for screen mirroring so if I go whiteboard it shows up backwards. Also on audio what happened to my ability to turn off participant microphones remotely?

Associated with the last software update I have a problem with phones ringing when they should not. We have three extensions that handle the initial calls and then calls are put through to other desks. All phones now ring despite settings remaining the same. Have checked all settings, rebooted phones. No change.

So I updated my profile picture on the Ring Central Desk Top app but it's not updating inside of a meeting. Is there a way to update the picture that shows in a meeting when hiding video? I either need our official company picture or non at all. This is very important for my new job.

With Ring Central App people are getting network unstable messages and calls are dropping. This didn't happen with the RC Phone app. PLEASE FIX THIS.

We have a user utilizing the RingCentral app on her iPhone. When she tries to merge calls she receives this error. I have confirmed that she has the most up to date iOS software, the latest version of the RingCentral app, and has also uninstalled and re-installed the app with no luck. I spoke with Ahmad Bahauddin and he let me know this was a a bug issue with reference number COOPS-6859 .We have multiple users on iPhones who are not experiencing this error. Is there a reason this is only affecting one of our users? Additionally, is this something our other iPhone users should expect to experience in the near future?I was told that there is currently no work around for this solution. Please advise

Prompt says "connecting" but it never does connect

I updated my picture and it shows everywhere correctly in Ring Central except Ring Central Meetings. I tried the workaround that I found using the mobile app and it still doesn't update in Meetings only in the regular part of Ring Central.Help Please!Rita

We are hoping to be able to use a custom cover page when using the Ring Central Phone app (Android). I know you can create a custom cover page using the RC Phone app on Windows desktop, but can't seem to find a way to do it on mobile (or at least attach the custom to the app). Basically - Have MD's that want to send prescriptions from taking a photo with their phone and sending it via fax with a custom, HIPAA approved cover sheet.

Since last Friday I am unable to log in to the case portal to view cases or open a new case. I'm trying to log in with Google like I've always done, but it gives me an error "REGISTRATION_HANDLER_ERROR". If I click Try again it goes to a Salesforce window that says "We can't log you in because of an authentication error". I've tried logging in using my phone number and password also, same error. I've tried clearing browser data, different browser, etc, it's not making any difference.

When I am trying to login to my RingCentral account, I get to the 2FA (where I am asked to send a code to an email and supply it as verification).But every time I receive the code and enter it, then click submit to verify it, I get the following error message and cannot proceed.Can someone please help me so I may get access to my RingCentral account?

So I was prompted to update to the newest version of the Ring Central softphone application for my desktop (workstation) and believing it would be better I did so. Now I'm getting Error Code 0xc0000018 "The application was unable to start correctly" and am given only the option to click ok to close the dialog box. This after an hour and half of installing, uninstalling, and troubleshooting the application directly from the Ring Central Support page. Any one else have this problem and if so how did you resolve it?

We are aware of pressing transfer>blind>*0>ext# to send a call straight to another user's VM but this does not work with our BLF keys. Reception desk uses Polycom VVX450 with sidecar so we have many BLF keys and no need to memorize all user's 4 digit extensions.

It would be very useful for developers to have access to the settings within the RingCentral Phone application.For example, I am working on an external application to open our customer's page in our ERP system and perform some other tasks. I would like to update the Execute command settings within Settings->Calls->Incoming->Launch an external app or a URL on incoming call as part of the installation package so I do not need to have the users enter it manually.

I would like to get an idea when this will be fixed. Every other update just breaks notifications again. Either they’re not at all received, random badge counts, no badge counts, badges for no new content that won’t go away, having to cycle between various all tabs to clear notifications. It momentarily somewhat worked, then broken again after update. Our business relies on the apps - computer, iPad, iPhones, so on. All entirely unreliable.
