Hi folks! I’m using: https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-softphone-tsI think I can get notified through TLS connection but if I’ve like 10k users connected their ringcentral, will I have to got 10k TLS connection (each with their own SIP credentials) ? Is there any better alternative option to this like receiving an API call to my webhook or something ? Thanks in advance!

Context:I’ve developed an Azure Function with an HTTP-triggered webhook to capture voicemail events. The goal is to save voicemail transcriptions from all extensions in the company to a database. Currently, I have it working for the logged-in user's voicemails.Questions: Is there now an option to receive account-wide voicemail events (i.e., for all extensions) through a single webhook subscription? I previously read a post (answered ~2 years ago) stating that such an account-wide event webhook does not exist. Has anything changed since then? If account-wide events are still not supported, then I assume I’ll need to create individual subscr

When we send a fax that fails, the only option is “delete” or “re-send”.  How can we view what we were trying to send?  Once it sends successfully, you can use the eye icon to view it but there is no icon like this under a failed fax.  This is a problem as we have no idea what it was we were sending out to look into it?

Hi all,How do I setup user coverage on RingCentral?  By coverage I mean that if a user is getting a call and she’s not able to pickup, then whoever is assigned to cover his/her phone will start to ring and able to pickup call, then if nobody can answer the calls, then it goes to the voicemail of the first intended user since that is the destination the caller was trying to reach.Thanks 

I'm creating an app for my organization that does a handful of customized things that RingCentral does not do. This is my first time to use the RingCentral API and I'm stuck on how to get the Incoming Call webhook to work for all extensions in my organization. On the Main line if you call the other extensions it will give you an error message that intercom calls will not be accepted even though it’s been programmed.

How do you sync contacts from Redtail to the RingCentral app?

I downloaded ringcentral app for the integration into Salentica Engage. It says it’s installed but it’s not showing up on the sidebar? Help please. 

We have been unable to set up SMS messaging from our general line (ported in).  We need our SMS message to be sent from this number (and messages to be received at this number), but it is not an option under the SMS set up options in the General Admin tab.  It only allows each employee the option to send SMS from the employee’s dedicated line.

I have a scheduled report in Contact Center that’s been emailed monthly to a manager for years, the prebuilt Agent Summary report, and this week I need to know, for certain, what some of this means. What is ACD time? What are the units of time? Seconds? Obligatory rhetorical question...why isn’t this data provided in human-readable units?  Can anyone explain what these last two columns are about? Can an agent really be available for 100.45025271559500 percent? I mean, seriously… 

How do I remove an additional local number?

I did a port in to get my landline number into ring central and it replaced my main number. How can I get my main number back?

I have ported in a number from Frontier to RingCentral, 419-281-2173.  This number replaced my direct line 419-496-2147 in the RingCentral Admin Portal.  The 419-496-2147 is no longer available in my RingCentral admin portal.  I need the 2147 put back on my account and tied to my user account.  I need the 2173 for my new employee starting on 5/14.  I initially asked for help on 5/2 and received a ticket # 27834934.  My personal contact number is 419-566-0652.Thank you,Jenny 

Hi everyone,I'm currently exploring different options for faxing using our Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C5840i. I need an option that allows faxing directly on the machine in the office, as some employees do not have access to RingCentral.Additionally, our business has a designated fax number, so it's important that we can receive faxes directly to this machine.Does anyone have experience with this setup or know the best way to configure it?  Any tips, recommendations, or resources would be greatly appreciated!   

We just switched to RingCentral and lost a valuable feature. I used to have it set up so that my users could call a specific phone number and then select from 1 of 2 conference rooms. If they pressed 1, then they would automatically be joined into “Conference Room 1”. It is, of course, completely insecure. However, it was a vital service provided to my employees who used those rooms for scheduled meetings with clients who can dial a phone number but are unable to enter a conference meeting ID.Now, the best I can do is have an IVR allow them to press 1 to access the conferencing system but they have to type in a meeting number and the pound key. Is there any way to automatically populate that in an external transfer so that people who dial a specific phone number will automatically join a specific meeting ID without having to type it in?

I’m trying to use this to update a phone, and have been struggling with my automation to get it to work. It keeps giving me “Parameter [phoneLines] value is invalid”, so I decided to try it through that website with the same exact data - it also gave me the same error.  Where can I retrieve the proper phoneLine ID? What I’ve been using is the same as what’s in the URL when looking at the phone number at service.ringcentral.com, for example: service.ringcentral.com/application/company/numberDetail/[THISNUMBER] That number is also the ID under “phoneInfo” on “List Extension Devices”, which is what my automation is using.   Thank you!

What exactly happens when I change Softphone’s device type to OtherPhone and what side effects I might expect ?I’m building a feature which only works with OtherPhone devices but most of my clients has only SoftPhone device, I’m asking to change their device type to OtherPhone, but some of them worried and refusing, I did some research to know its side effects but wanted to learn more from community as well!Thanks in advance!

Hey there!Is there a way to sort call recordings by call duration?For example, in the admin portal’s detailed view, I can filter by inbound or outbound calls for a specific extension within a given time frame—but I don’t see an option to filter or sort by call length (e.g., calls between X and Y minutes in length). Is that possible?Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you! 

I have a Toll Free number for my Contact Center. I'm sure you already know, that with RingCentral you need to purchase Toll Free minute bundles for the Contact Center. Since our call volume is seasonal the bundle will be different for each month so I need to predict the volume ahead of time, or at least before the billing cycle ends.Can someone help me put together a report that can help me calculate the Toll Free minute usage? I figure it's something where I can filter on Toll Free DNIS number and then sum up the minutes.I've tried building a report with Contact Duration, but I think the Callback skews everything.I'm assuming that I should be summing up InBound Phone Calls that never used the Callback. For the InBound Phone Calls that used a CallBack, I should probably only sum up the PreQueue Time, and InQueue Time? I'm assuming that when the system calls the customer back, it's not using my TF minutes therefore I shouldn't count th

Where can I listen to call recordings on incoming calls taken by different employees.Can I download the call?I can see the calls in my admin page but can not download or listen to the call if I didn’t make the call.The user who took the call does not have the feature to listen to recordings.

How do we turn off the AI assistant for all users at once? ...it’s causing a lot of call disruptions and we don’t want it enabled by default.
