I would like to know if we can have the call routing from call queue to specific rules of an extension

We are in the process of moving to RingCentral for several of our users (new company subsidiary). We would like to be able to use 5 digit dialing to call users on old system. The old system has an auto attendant so we were hoping to be able to dial something like 2-1234 wher 2 would initiate the call to the old auto attendant and then pass the 1234 as the extension. Is this possible? Is there some other way to achieve this ?

My current project is on .Net 4.5 and wants to integrate meeting API's. Trying to add SDK but gettingError: Could not install package 'RingCentral.Net 3.0.0'. You are trying to install this package into a project that targets '.NETFramework, Version=v4.5, but the package does not contain any assembly references or content files that are compatible with that framework. Hello All,Has anybody run into this?I have a python app that sends SMS using the SDK, I want to make an executable out of it with pyinstaller, its not, as far as I can tell including the SDK in the build at leas there is nothing in the dist folder. Where should I be looking?Thanks

Our company provides several levels of support for our clients. Some users are email only, others have phone support. We would like to have the system automatically make an api call to a service we would setup that returns the extension to move to. I.e. if the client has phone support, we could forward the call to the support queue, if they only had email support, we could forward to a VM explaining their support options...I've researched and saw some posts where this feature was coming? Is it available now?

I'm using the ringcentral-embeddable and I trying to hook it up to my dev application. It's saying I need to use a digital line. How do I assign the digital line to the application? Also once the line is connected will multiple people be able to use it at once?

I'm trying to send a fax using the RingCentral Create Fax REST API. I was able to use Postman to authorize my request and if I use multipart/form-data to send the fax, it works. However, my endgoal is to automate faxes through Salesforce using Apex code. Creating a multipart/form-data HTTP request is rather difficult in Apex, whereas it is trivial to set the body to JSON and send that request.When I attempt to send an application/json request in Postman, the error that I get is "Invalid Parameter: Parameter [attachment] value is invalid". In my JSON, attachment is listed first; if I change "to" to be above "attachment" in the JSON, it just says parameter "to" is invalid.I'm wondering if the Create Fax API supports that data format at all or if I'm just misconfiguring Postman.Thank you,For reference...This is the HTTP representation of the request

I purchased a new cell phone. LG Stylo 5 Now after setting up the ringcentral app every call i make cuts out every other second both for me and for the customer. I am sure it is something I need to set up differently, but I have no idea which setting would cause this. I have my old device, a samsung galaxy A10e which is working perfectly, so it has to be a setting in my new phone. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I park a call to a virtual location (*8xx). The location is announced to me when I place the call in park. Let's say I forget that location. Is there a way to tell which virtual locations have calls in park?

I'm working on using SSO with the embeddable widget. So far, I've gotten the OAuth process working through the PHP SDK, and can get an access_token, etc. for my sandbox application. But when I then load an Iframe with the embeddable app.html URL + authMode=sso + my sandbox appKey + appServer = https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com, everything just redirects to https://ringcentral.github.io/ringcentral-embeddable/redirect.html#error=login_requiredThe application is not published, Platform Type = Browser-based, and has two OAuth Redirect URIs configured -- my callback endpoint for the OAuth process on the server, and the default embeddable redirect URI https://ringcentral.github.io/ringcentral-embeddable/redirect.htmlAny ideas?

We are noticing that some calls that come through are taking a long time to come through the webhook we have set up for an extension. I've tried to determine a particular pattern but it may be a 2-minute delay one time and a 15-minute delay the next time. Normally the calls come through in real-time.Is there something in particular I could look at or a way to force the delay to be shorter?

I am completing the sample SMS and RingOut Quick Start Apps and though my actions are completed successfully (tested with my own phone number), I do not see any activity on the Dashboard for my apps. Is there a step or configuration I'm missing?

I built a quick app with the WebRTC API using the PHP demo code. I have my cell phone set as the recipient and when I run the code my cell phone rings. But what I hear on the other end is both "This is a test from Ring Central..." but I also hear my own voicemail answering. Why does it do that?Also, I have a RC softphone app on my Mac that is logged into that RC number but nothing happens, should it ring? My expectation is that my mobile will ring and I answer and the softphone will ring and i will answer that as well, and be connected. Am I wrong?

Seems like a dumb question but I am really struggling here.my customer is using ring central phone system and I am installing an API to get the callerID, it is a server only (No UI) platform.I have run sandbox test for almost a day now but I do not seems to get read presence and webhook subscriptions pass the sandbox test. I am quite confused at this point.

I started testing Glip with a personal email account, and that test has been successful. I would now like to move my Glip to my new company's domain. I have a lot of conversations already, and don't want to lose that history. I have been able to update the company name, but I cannot change the email address domain.

I know the standard procedure for sending a fax from email is to add the item you want to fax to the email as an attachment, then send the email to <fax number>@rcfax.com. This works great. Now I need to send a fax via email to a fax number with an extension. For example, 212-555-1212*82. How do I email to fax to that?

HiWe have an Account type: UK - RingCentral Office 1 line Standard EditionDiverting to mobiles is no problem but we recently got a local Skype number for when we're out of the country as the cost of our mobiles out of the EU is high and thought that when we were on wifi, being able to accept calls on that would be great. But the diversion doesn't work. It either goes straight through to voicemail, jumps onto the next divert (one of our mobiles) or cuts out completely. I've done what seemed like an endless chat with first RingCentral then with Skype who each say the problem is with the other provider. Does anyone know the answer please, as to why my local Skype number won't work when used as a divert on RingCentral? Any help gratefully received!Thank you :)

I was doing the sandbox test. it was fine yesterday but today when I logged in I saw my portal looks like this...I suddently lost the production credantials and sandbox user.

Many times in my role I get asked to set up meetings for our employees. This forces me to be the host of the call and many times I am not present. We learned that if I am not present for the call as the host, or if I jump on after the call started, it doesn't record. It only records when I am there. We used to use Zoom for our conference calls and it never mattered if I joined the meeting or not. Once it was set and the meeting ID was provided to the team they were able to just use the link and it would record. Am I missing something within RingCentral that would allow me to do this or is this yet another feature request I will need to submit?

How do I Port my number to a mobile carrier

2 COMPANIES WITH OVERLAPPING EMPLOYEES. I have a problem. I know RC is capable of doing this, but I don't know how to do it. I have one R.C. account, 2 companies and 2 "877" numbers. Company A has different employees than company B - EXCEPT there are two employees that are in both companies and we cannot get the IFR system to work correctly on those two employees that are in both companies. Can you PLEASE POINT ME TO A VIDEO, or an article that can help me fix this. PLEASE. R.C. technical people couldn't do it, but I know its "doable". THANKS VERY MUCH

I keep on getting an "Unknown" Status Result on my outgoing fax. My recepient says he's going to acknowledge the email once he got it but I've been trying to sit and wait to make sure it'll send for hours now but it's still the same. Tried contacting support but none can give me a definite answer. Can you guys help? I was always told that the person I am faxing don't have a fax number.
