Everyone points the direction to each other, so I've been going round and round with no concrete information on what it entails to implement this integration nor able to understand the level of effort .If anyone was able to get real information, besides the RC marketing pages and articles, could you please share your experience?Thanks in advance!

Hello! Wondering if it's possible to sync Microsoft TEAMS status with ring central status. Example: A end user joins a meeting team shows in meeting. Ring central status is available still. Is this possible to make it sync with what teams' status is?

Hello Ring Central Community,I am very new to getting data via API but I do have a working script that successfully retrieve our company's call data in the format I wanted. Now my next obstacle is that perPage parameter only allows a maximum of 250 records returned for Detailed view. Is there a way to retrieve more than 250 records?If there is no way to retrieve more than 250 records, what is the best practices from here? I reviewed Ring Central Data Archival but because we don't have a database, I am not sure what to do. We have AWS S3 but currently it is not being used for company reporting. Should we set up an S3 bucket for this?I am also not sure how often the API supposed to be called? Do I need to figure out on average how many coming through every hour and schedule the script to retrieve and append data every hour? What if there is an influx of incoming call and there are more than 250 calls during that certain hour?

When we total the number of abandoned calls with the total calls handled, it does not match the total number of calls offered. Does anyone know why? Our Call Center is new to RC and we are still trying to understand the reports and this is causing us a bit of frustration. Can anyone provide some insight? 

I am using the Ring Central CTI for Salesforce.but I cannot make an Outbound call; it throws an error.Can anyone tell me why I am not able to make outbound call?

Hi there,I am trying to create JWT tokens for developers within my organization. I was able to do this successfully yesterday, but today whenever I click on a developer from the Developer List and click the credentials option, it redirects me to the https://developers.ringcentral.com URL and I just get a spinning wheel waiting for it to load. As a side note, I am able to access my own credentials page just fine, and I have the Developer Admin role, but I can’t access anyone else on my team’s credentials page. Thanks,Danny

Hi,As per the title, how is the Refused calculated/counted in RingCentral Analytics when the Call Queue is on Simultaneous Ring?It seems to be tearing apart the current analytics and the individual reporting of our agents’ call logs.Does it count even if someone else answers the call? Doesn’t seem to be the case since some of the agents in the queue have 0 refused yet some have a lot.

several employees have reported to me that after installing the ringcentral app on their iphones, they get a notification: “Allow App and Book assignment”. you have either the option to cancel or continue, both options will only make the app pop the notification again after a few minutes. it can last for days. all devices are on the latest IOS.

We have a couple of Yealink T58W Pro phones with the camera, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a video call with another person with the same phone. Not trying to do anything fancy. I know the camera works because I can see it working on the camera app.

The old RingCentral Softphone would mute (and pause) podcasts, Spotify, etc. when answering a call. There's an option to choose this here: https://support.ringcentral.com.au/s/article/RingCentral-Phone-Desktop-Reduce-Mute-Other-Sounds-Windows-During-Call But it got dropped out of the new release of the "RingCentral app".

Anyone else have issues with firmware update crashing their phones?  We can no longer receive calls for our business, everything goes to voicemail.  After spending 5+ hours this afternoon, they agreed that we need new hardware agreed to replace all of our devices.  However, a few hours later, I received an email saying that we were outside of our warranty and to please call them about purchasing new hardware because they wouldn’t replace.  I’m sure we’re not the only business with this issue and am thinking this might be grounds for a class action lawsuit.  We paid a lot of money for this hardware and I never received an option for an extended warranty.  I also didn’t expect all of the phones to go out at the same time.

I’m thinking it will help if I explain our use case and then ask the question:We’ve purchased RingCentral and Yealink phones that I’ve installed into a daycare facility our church is starting. I’ve installed a Yealink T33G in each classroom to be used solely as intercom devices (to and from the main office) and to make emergency calls to 911 if necessary. When I did the Ringcentral onboarding, they had me set each of those up as a common area phone with a limited extension. We have a Yealink T46U with an external keypad in the main office. That phone will make and receive calls as well as serve as the “switchboard” for the intercom system - paging classrooms individually and hopefully in groups if there are any announcements that need to be made. When the T46U in the main office pages a T33G in a classroom, I don’t want it to ring and the receiver need to be picked up (like is what happens when I try to use the Intercom Key in the admin panel for the T46U (see screenshot

My company uses RC phone lines for calls and texting conversational messages. While we use Sensehq to send mass text messages on the RC lines. However, once our TCR campaign was approved, our texting ability on RC is no longer available, Sense is fine and we can text on Sense. I was told that we should not be able to text from both RC and Sensehq on the same phone line. Has anyone else run into this problem and is that statement true? Thanks.

I'm looking for a way to send SMS messages directly from n8n using HTTP requests to the SMS send endpoint.However, I'd like to simplify the authentication process by using a hardcoded credential or authorization token instead of going through the full OAuth flow each time.Is this approach possible with the RingCentral API? If so, could someone provide any pointers on how to achieve this?Any suggestions or code examples would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!

When using the conference feature, there's a 3-second delay when speaking, regardless of the number of participants. How can we fix this? This issue doesn't occur with simple transfers but always happens during conferencing, causing people to talk over each other.

On a Poly VVX450, can you assign a delegate line to be the primary (outgoing) calling line?  Specifically, if the user just picks up the phone to dial a number, their main extension (the upper left corner of phone, position 1) lights up.  The user has 3 delegate lines on positions 10,11,12 on the phone.  Can we default the outgoing call to use one of the delegate lines instead of the primary extension for the user?The user can manually press one of the delegate buttons to make the call, but we are trying to simplify for them so they can just dial-out and it will be on the delegate line.NOTE: We have Caller-ID for both their primary line and the delegate line to use the same #.

We have added our own phone on the Ringcentral portal by manually provisioning the sip details. When the List Extension Devices API(https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/accountId/extension/extensionId/device) is called the phone is identified as a OtherPhone. The phone has a unique device id being returned in the API response. But the supervision API mentions that it only works for Sotfphone/Hardpone type.Can anyone confirm if OtherPhone works for supervision?

Message sends have been failing for the last 24 hours with SendingFailed status. I don’t see any issues in the developer dashboard, and I don’t see a way to get more information from the API.This is a mission-critical application that has been working for many months. Any ideas on how to debug this to the next level of detail?I created a support ticket as well.

About 85% of the time, when I answer a call using the Ring Central App on my PC, and then transfer the call, I get a window “Transfer failed”. If I then go over to the desk phone and transfer that call it works fine. any ideas? Once in a while it works. Its a brand new PC, latest software, brand new network cables on fiber optics connection.
