How can I stop these promotional messages. Like the sample below, they're almost always disconnected from reality...I have all the apps downloaded, so there's no reason for the message.If I click the unsubscribe link, I have everything dialed in properly, so I'm not quite sure why I'm still getting these.I've already reached out to my account manager, and he doesn't have any idea. I hate to think all my users are receiving the same inane spam from RC.

I wish we could put an incoming call on hold, without having to answer it first. Thanks !

The HUD has been one of our most helpful tools to see who is on park locations (just like a normal phone) and who is busy on the phone. We've used the ring central phone app. We recently discovered that it will be end of service estimated the end of next year. This feature is essential for us to use ring central effectively. Can you build something similar to the hud in the unified app. And more/most importantly can we utilize the private park locations we have set up in the admin portal. We use this in opposition to blind or warm transfers because it allows to decouple the calling experience from the transfer experience. It gives our internal users breathing room to leave someone on a park location, then have the next person pick it up without the rush of having to keep someone on hold while you transfer.

Small office with 30 phones - we have a Cisco 5520 firewall configured to failover to a secondary ISP (Different Static IP) if we lose service, the failover happens in 2 seconds -- is there any way to keep phone calls alive if the outgoing IP address changes mid call?In my testing the phone has a registration problem when the failover occursThe internet has no issue when the failover happens - videos continue to stream, email works, etc.

These offices have been paying for the Fax service for years and they like the feature to Scan-to-Fax built into the old RingCentral Phone (SoftPhone) application for their desktops.The new RingCentral app variation just seems to be a web app put into windowed form. The interface seems fine, but for faxing productivity.... what used to take one to two clicks to scan & fax a document from with the old RingCentral (Softphone) app, now takes a lot more effort because you have to scan with an external application, then switch back into the new RingCentral App to attach the file, then send.I recently upgraded an pediatric offices systems and software with the latest versions of all apps. When a receptionist puts a call on a public park, calls an extension, then picking up the parked call again, their phone sometimes crashes and restarts. This is happening on a Cisco 8861 desk phone. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

In a call queue, is there any way to set up a greeting to play after a call has been picked up and the automatic call recording has begun? It is my understanding that the greeting will play, followed by the recording announcement, then the recording begins when an extension picks up. I'd like to be able to capture the greeting message and the announcement of recording for each call. Any ideas on if this is possible with RC? Thanks!

I have 13 Yealink T48S phones. I would like to program the hotkeys to either intercom or page other phones Yealink T48S phones in the office. While the phone supports this when I set it up manually on the phone, Ringcentral provisioning does not, and reboots/overwrites the phone hotkeys.

Please include Jabra Evolve 80 in the upcoming remote call control release. Almost all Jabra Evolve products are named on the supported device list -- except Jabra Evolve 80. I keep both apps open -- one on my phone and one on my computer. For some reason, the calls come through to my cell phone faster than my computer. When I'm on a call through my RC app on my iPhone, my status still shows me as "available" on my RC app on my MacBook… even if I'm on the phone for 10-20 minutes. Every app is up-to-date. Help!

When I try to resize my RingCentral Meetings desktop app window, the program freezes for several seconds before working again, the video quickly fast-forwarding to the present moment. It seems like a bug and although not crashing the program, still quite annoying. Is anyone else having this problem? Using the latest version of Windows 10.

We got RingCentral a few months back and twice now have had our antivirus detect a threat in RingCentral apps. First time it was Avast, which tagged Update.exe (in the Glip folder), this time it was Windows Defender on multiple computers that tagged UninstallRingCentral.exe as a threat.Has this been happening to anyone else; is this a mistake with virus definitions or is it more likely an actual virus?

Given security concerns, it would be of value to schedule conference calls with unique meeting identifiers to create an 'open' call but only people with that identifier can join.Having one code and one link makes it so that it needs to be manually managed for each call.

We are in the project deployment stage of moving to RingCentral from Cisco CUCM. On Cisco, we use a 3rd party app to provide notifications based on the location defined for the the phone. So if a person in Dallas dials 911, it will send to a group of people including the GM in Dallas. Every location has its own notification group so that the GM at one site doesn't see the 911 calls for another. As near as I can tell, this is an enterprise setting on RingCentral and is not capable of having different email destinations based on the site.Considering the difficulties of 911 in the mobile, cloud based world, along with how litigious this country is, I would think that combining Nomadic 911, so if a phone is connecting in through an IP for a location, that would place that user in that site and allow for notifications based on where the call is coming from for those alerts would be a tremendous improvement.Add in to the RingCentral app a way for a user to have

I am trying to install an RC softphone app on my home Mac (ver. 20.2.2.39769). During the installation process, I get an error message that I have reached the maximum number of allowable installs. We have 5 paid user extensions and 4 have softphone installations on each desktop computer in addition to individual YealinkT48S desk sets. I would like to install RC softphone app on my home computer as well as on my iPhone. What is the maximum allowable softphone install on an account with 5 paid users?
