Is there a way to delete posts from the RC Mobile App? I'm not seeing any options for that at least on Apple iOS nor any permission setting. Also, how do you like a post via mobile?Thank you

I have a problem with the Latest RingCentral App (Glip) when you try to invite (import) contacts from the contracts section and use 365. the authentication window appears and you can sign in but then it a white screen and does not complete the auth?Anyone else had this issue?

Our calls are answered by a virtual receptionist. It takes 10 seconds to "bypass the company extension" and actually connect. Here's what I want:1. Person Calls2. One second elapses, NOT TEN3. Virtual Receptionists phone rings.Is that possible? It's already set to bypass the greeting and go directly to my extension - which forwards the call. Let's cut out the middle man. Call the number, it's forwarded. The end. How do we do that?

Hello,I joined called today using RC services. However, when I dialed in I got a busy tone. I tried a few more time however it still failed. A co-worker then tried using her cell phone but when she dial-in she got the busy tone it wasn't until she tried a second time where it went through. My IT believes that its something to do with RC services where it was only able to handle one dial in at a time. It was just there conclusion as this isn't their area of expertise. Anyone else having this issue as well?

Why cant we paste a phone number into the dial section of the mobile app

Hi there, is there a reason why contacts are properly named on mobile, but when you view the conversation on the Desktop RingCentral, it's all still numbers.(It's only recently that I noticed that one is named correctly "Winnie")Thanks for any information,Jeff

Name a phone number on the desktop version of ringcentral. IE Tom Jone 222-222-2222, so if a response comes back you know, out of the 100's, who is responding

Since the last upgrade, (version doesn't seem to be available in the app) a few days ago, all my personal contacts phone numbers are formatted incorrectly. They still work fine in the desktop app. The phone numbers have all changed to +40(73)9999. In order to call I need to manually enter 1-407-739-9999. Additionally, 1 has to be entered first. Moving back to the LEGACY app that works. *** Please do not force this update UNTIL IT IS READY, and FULLY FUNCTIONAL, like the Legacy app.Better yet, throw a hand-grenade into the server that hosts it and start over!I need a PHONE app, not a backwards, upside-down "messaging" app.

When I add my VA to my phone system She will be the 4th sharing the line. There will be the VA with my assistant and my answering service plus me. Basically, if not picked up by one of us on by the 4th ring the answering service picks up. Is this workable?. When setting this up what should I look out for? Support has had me on the line for 20 minutes listening to music. This is terrible. PLEASE HELP

We have 5 users and 4 of us are on the soft phone version on our laptop computers. when someone calls and we do not answer (either on the other line or away from the office), the call will go to voice mail. Unfortunately a few months ago the messages started experiencing a long delay (could be days) in populating to the desktop app. We get a voice mail and are notified by email that there is a new message. We have raised the issue with Ring Central support and the only solution they have is now we get the messages in our email inbox and have to open up an audio file. The other solution they gave us (which works) is to log out of the app and then log back in, which is not convenient for obvious reasons. Anybody have any suggestions? It's to the point of maybe having to abandon Ring Central and move to another provider. Thanks guys,

Very,very dissapointed that there is no whisper to ID a call or a way to change the caller ID to let my staff know what number is calling in from.

Hi everyone. Have some issue with sending a SMS to recipient. Just have an error message "Message is not sent. Message cannot be sent. Please, try again laterMessage is not sent".

It seems like after this most recent update all of our missed call and text notifications are really delayed. I'll get a missed call notification 3 days after I missed the call and I stay logged into the desktop app. It's happening to mobile app users as well. Is this happening to anyone else.

I would like to be able to designate more than one extension to receive faxes (ideally in the "Deliver faxes to:" settings area)As it currently stands, only one extension can receive and VIEW incoming faxes.  This is not efficient, as the onus is now on one person to read and later disseminate faxes as necessary.In a physical office situation, with a physical fax machine, an incoming fax can be viewed and read by multiple people.  Why can't we achieve this in RingCentral?Appreciate your help!

I am working to transition to the new RingCentral app....I am noticign that adding contacts is not very simple. It is frustrating that there is not a simple button like the previous app. Further more...I just notice that this is an invitation...not an import contacts. So what I am seeing is that I will have to manually dial out using the new app. That is ridiculous and I hope that this is fixed! There needs to be a way to import your contacts from your Office 365 and/or Mac contacts.

We are looking for access to the API to only get the Current incoming call with the caller ID and history of calls for the current date and put on our custom dashboard. Is there a way to do just that?

CASE # 09593888Is anybody getting the run around with support between Ringcentral and their Call Center provider inContact (AKA CxOne, AKA Nice, AKA What's next)? I have been having issues with their reporting platform pulling incorrect records. Individual calls are merged together and reported as a single call :[]. Messing up our records for audits.When you try to contact inContact they tell you to go through ringcentral. When you call ringcentral they are not familiar with inContact so they generate an incident and then send you to inContact. The latter then says you need to contact Ringcentral because they are not forwarding the calls to us correctly. Has anybody out there had experience with converting from a free Glip instance to a full, paid, RingCentral implementation? I'm curious as to whether they were able to transfer your users/conversations/teams intact or whether you needed to start over from scratch.Thanks,Keith

I work for Disability:IN and one of our Inclusion Works companies uses RingCentral and asked me to check out the accessibility of the tool.  This client is trying to comply with the Disability Equality Index which specifically asks is their telephony system accessible for users with disabilities - all types of disabilities, including deaf and low vision or blind users.   I am hopeful to find a RingCentral expert in accessibility to provide me with some testing details, similar to a VPAT for Section 508 compliance.

US Account, Currently using the Glip RingCentral app, the contacts are not syncing with the online contacts. The contacts sync with the other Ring Central app, but I have been unable to sync the contacts with the Glip app.

Hello,I want to use RingCentral for sending messages. For I will have various accounts, I chose public application Auth-code flow. I am using the functionality for desktop application, I have researched the way to get auth-code is through browser on which I will login with my ringcentral account then will allow access permissions and then it will return the auth-code in the callback url response that I have passed while making request for it.It is inappropriate for my desktop application to open up browser and making all my accounts user to follow the steps to allow access. Is there anyway through code that this process runs in background and user will automatically get the auth-code once I access the api for it.I am stuck. Please help!Regards.

Hi, I'm using a Mac with Catalina 10.15 I've download the Mac desktop app v19.10.2 but I get an error message saying "RingCentral cant be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the dev...."Is there a new version in the pipeline or am I missing something?

When a client tries to fax us, it goes to voicemail. Is there some setting they should change on their fax machine so it wont go through as a phone call? Faxes from other machines go through ok
