The desk top application previously used to refresh so that you could see your messages. With the current update you have to do that manually. Not a very good customer experience.

We are working a report regarding the call hung up by agent.

When I try to retrieve my voice mails, I first get the annoying and time-wasting repeat of my company name and phone number. How do I get rid of this waste of time?

I called in to get help from Ring Central on Saturday, 12/21 because our after hours message was mal functioning and our customers could not contact the veterinarian on call for emergencies. I am a NEW customer and do not comprehend the Ring Central admin portal processes, but I am learning as fast as I can. But I needed help. I was on hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes and no one answered nor picked up. My sales rep (Ras Patel) is awesome - I emailed him and he took his personal time and fixed our problem for me on Sunday or early Monday. We had a lot of frustrated clients between Saturday and Monday morning and that really hurts our business. When we have an emergency, we need to know as a small business if our phones have a problem that Ring Central will be there to help promptly - even during difficult hours when we all would rather sleep. Our business relies heavily on after hours phone systems working properly and if they don't our clients really get frustrated and their pets

USYour service/route providers are connecting calls to an incorrect destination for DID 949-529-1401 all other providers sprint/att/verizon/pbx connect accurately per tests.Please review and advise, this is negatively impacting ALL RingCentral customers who are trying to call the number.

All of our users are able to participate in group messages with both RC and non-RC numbers except for 1. She has trouble receiving messages and is unable to send messages in a group. When she tries to sent a text in the group, the text is immediately highlighted in red and an error message pops up saying "Message is not sent. Recipient extension is not found." We recently moved to RC from another phone company mostly for its ability to host group texts. It is crucial to our communication with all of our clients and partners that this issue is solved quickly.

Hi, our agency has multiple agents. I work from home and would like calls to be forwarded to my cell number. I have a number that rings into our main agency. Is it possible to do that? For example, XXX-XXX-1200 rings into the main office. Instead of the main office handling the call, I would like those calls forwarded to my cell number. Mike

When using the Ring Central Desktop Application, when the phone rings the answering box disappears quickly, even if the phone is still ringing. How do i fix this?

I imported my contacts from a CSV file from a file that originated from our company's QuickBooks file which was exported to Excel. I changed all of the field names to agree with the contact fields in RingCentral. I then imported successfully (or so it appeared) with no error messages. However, the "Business Address, Business Address2 and Email" fields did not populated under my personal contacts. Any suggestions as to why or what I am doing incorrectly? Thanks!

We are a manufacturer that currently uses RingCentral to provide technical service support to a closed group of specialized technicians. We are seeking a way to create a white list of inbound phone numbers that would be the only phones that could access our group. This white list could contain several hundred phone numbers. We need everyone else blocked. Any ideas on how to do this with RingCentral?

When a member of a call queue is called on their DDI and does not answer, I need the call to forward/divert to the call queue they are a member of.However, I cannot add the call queue number into the call forward/handling section - I get the message "Forwarding phone number cannot be the same as your account number or any additional numbers."How can I set this up?UK account, 250 users, many call queues where this would be a useful (normal?) feature to ensure calls get answered by someone who can help the customer.

Is anyone else seeing this error in Glip?We are having trouble enabling SMS due to a connection issue. Please restart the app and try again.The service status site shows normal.

After sending a Glip, if a phone call comes in and while on the phone a Glip comes in, Glip will freeze and need to be restarted. v19.11.1Has anyone else come across this situation?

Has something changed with the newest version of the desktop application for notifications? There used to be a little red dot that would appear on the RingCentral taskbar icon that would indicate unread messages. That is no longer the case. I've discovered that when the app is open and minimized it would then show the number of unread messages; only if running the taskbar "combine taskbar buttons" on Never. I run the taskbar with Always, hide labels and by doing so there's no indicators that there are unread messages. Am I missing something?Thank you

I am currently using Plantronics BT600 headset with the RingCentral phone app on a windows computer. Each time a call comes in, or even if I act like I am dialing a number and about to make a call, the volume jumps up, or spikes, and is very loud. It is very stressful to have the volume set at a low setting and be listening to music softly, or even nothing at all, and then THE PHONE RINGS and is so loud it makes you jump and want to throw your headphones off. It's acting as if the volume setting for calls is a completely independent, different setting than every other volume setting on the computer, RC phone app, RC, and Plantronics headset HUB. I have attempted to adjust the volume settings for each program and the computer volume mixer, but nothing seems to control the volume of interacting with the RC phone app for calls.Please please please if anyone has any suggestions for how to stop damaging my ears for 8 hours straight everyday, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Does it do any good to call the opt out number on these spam faxes? Or, does it just make matters worse?

I have a current LAN network with 20+ VVX 411 desktop phones working fine.We are trying to change to a new circuit with more bandwidth, in testing that new connection, the IP phones will not function properly.Can someone tell me, definitively, what network address or resource these phones need to be able to communicate with to function properly? Like a URL or IP Address?We are trying to configure routing on the new circuit to allow for the connectivity to work... and I am uncertain of what that is?After looking in the phone settings on a phone on the working network, my guess is:sip.ringcentral.com (199.255.120.146) , but I really need to be able to answer this question with confidence to avoiding a lot of time on the part of my network team and our internet service vendor.

When will the RC APP on my MAC be able to sync in contacts.. so we can call them. Seems like a big missing feature. The RC App on my iphone has this. Without this feature on my desktop I have to have BOTH RC Desktop app and RC App (new) HELP!

I have a large group of employees using ringcentral on a mix of hotdesk deskphone, mobile or both.I also have a large group using incontact via a hotdesk deskphone.When a colleague using ringcentral only on a hotdesk polycom wants to put a call through to an agent, it is difficult for her to tell who is on the phone and who is not. This is made especially difficult by the fact that calling an agent via ringcentral will make the phone ring for that agent whether or not they are already on a ringcentral or an incontact call.How can:1. a receptionist know who is available to take a customer call2. a manager know if their team are available or on a ringcentral callWe are a UK company of 250 users using the ringcentral/glip app on mobiles and hotdesk polycom VVX501s.

I tried to copy/snipped a screenshot/image and paste it glip and does not work. I use to be able to do this. My RingCentral/Glip was just updated to 19.11.1 so I suspect that this is broken in this version. I know the image is in clipboard because if I paste it in word/outlook, it will work.Text copy&paste is working fine.
