I have this error on my end can you help out what needs to be done Inaccurate Registration. Inconsistency between sample message and use-case. Opt-out language missing from sample messages. Your SMS opt-in does not describe how the user knows to message you first.

Everytime I try to use the intercom, system message is that caller is not set up to accept intercom calls.  I have reviewed every setting in the phone and see no where where I can enable this feature on two sets - between boss & office manager

I have phones that were needed as hot desks for multiple users. Now I need to use those phones as assigned extensions. When I follow the instructions it tells me to remove the line. However, when I do that there is no option to keep it in inventory the line is just deleted. If I try to switch phones, the phone I switch to becomes an hot desk phone.

Dealing with TCR “Update required” since November. Yesterday agent told me to share my screen so we can fix together mistakes. By the time I needed to press finish button, I received “External tcr api failures". No clue what we changed to trigger that, and agent did not know either. Now I am going back and forth with ring and spectrum and no one know what is going on. Last call said to contact billing but it was impossible to get them on the call. And no idea why billing.  Anyone else had same issue with TCR

My questions are in reference to this RingCentral link that states that free users can only receive calls through the company's Auto-receptionist and place calls using RingOut. If they make or receive more than 10 calls in a billing cycle, the account will be charged the cost of an

Haha… the situation is so bad it’s almost funny. Right now, we have a set main line, and multiple people are logged in to it. We’re a small five person company, and have everyone logged into the same line, so that we can all access the voicemails and messages. If we use extensions, then everyone can only see their own individual extension and not the main voicemails and messages. We do not have a front desk administrator or secretary so we can’t have it where everyone cannot see it. I figured it was possible it was the number of phones connected, but this wasn’t a problem before, only recently became a problem. This is a huge issue because recently, when our clients call in, if we’re already on a call, the incoming call automatically mutes both us and the other person, meaning they can’t hear us and we can’t hear them, and we have to hang up on the incoming call to get back to the first one. As of February 5th, our outbound texting stopped working. We do not use this feature to advertise but to communicate with our customers regarding their service and to respond to questions. Having the ability to text on our store phone number was one of the reasons we chose Spectrum/Ring Central as a provider. Please advise as to the issue. Thank you.

When making outgoing calls, it announces that the call is being recorded. It interrupts the first couple of seconds of the call and confuses both the patient and myself. Patients have hung up on me because of the announcement. How do we turn it off? It started out of the blue today. Has only happened one time last year but stopped after a couple of days. Thank you.

Last week I started getting the “Message cannot be sent” message after I sent a text and my texts aren’t going through. Several others in my company are having the same issue. Is this due to this TCR/SMS Registration? Is this something only our Administrator can do so our company to be able to text again through Ring Central? How can I find out if our company has to do this or if we have done this already? This is really an inconvenience to not be able to text our clients or reply to incoming texts anymore. 

We are not able to send or receive texts from a variety of phone numbers and we recently redid all of our TCS/SMS as per RingCentrals first service failure.  This started with one line last night and is expanding to multiple numbers.  Is anyone else having this issue?

I have 7 physical phones set up in the office. Each phone is assigned to a user. When I transfer a call to user 1 or just try to ring user 1 by their extension from my quick dial, user 1’s phone doesn’t audibly ring. The call goes to user 1 as it should, but the only phone audibly ringing is user 2’s phone. User 2 does not have a call on their phone, but the sound is coming from their phone.This happens any time any of my users try to dial someone’s desk. Whoever is dialed is getting the call but their phone is not audibly ringing. A different user’s phone is ringing. 

We (co-workers and myself) are able to receive inbound SMS but outbound SMS messages are not being deliverd… HELP

Everytime I untick the box to auto answer calls it still auto answers. Any ideas as to why this is?

I have been submitting for TCR registration for 3 months now without success. I have called support multiple times. Each time, they look at what needs to be changed, I change it to comply (again) and get rejected again. The last rejection I had, the support person did not even know how I would get rejected because everything was there and complied. He said he would expedite my case, but that was over 2 weeks ago. Please, does anyone know why this might be happening. PLEASE HELP! I AM DESPERATE!

We had a working campaign for years but had over 625 numbers so it was recently cutoff. I created multiple (16) of them to make it compliant, but now they all keep being rejected. To be clear, we only text between employees and never do any marketing or spam unsolicited messages. How is a company that doesn’t ever do any marketing or any of the things that TCR is attempting to stop ever become compliant to be able to just send messages between corporate based staff and our field based employees? RingCentral has failed its customers with the lack of clarity on to actually submit a form that will be accepted. 

I have a rather odd problem with my RingCentral Poly VVX 450.I have added multiple Presence Extensions to my phone and the second one in the list never shows on the screen.For example, I have added six other extensions to the phone. each users name shows on the list except for the second in the list. If I remove that extension, the next one in the list disappears, and only shows four names. If I leave a blank line, the blank space will show and the next name in the list disapears.I have tried “resyncing” the phone multiple times, adding and removing extensions but it seems that the second in the list is always missing.

Having some issues with transferring calls between workers using the RingCentral mobile app. I can accept calls just fine, and when I click “transfer” if pops up with different options for our other workers. I click one, and from the customer’s end it rings and rings, and ends in voicemail, but it never actually rings the coworker’s phone. They don’t have it pop up on their phone. They’re receiving other calls on RingCentral just fine. Is there a setting or something to change this? I’ve tried messing with the incoming calls settings on their apps and the outgoing settings on my own phone.  Would be of great help!

When using SMS messaging, is there a way to have the “OPT OUT” Language as a footer of every message sent?  I don’t want to add this as a template for every text..

Is anyone from the Seattle/Eastside area getting ringing phones, but once you pick up, no audio? We also try to get into the VM messaging center, and no tone, nothing. 

I have been trying to get my TCR registration approved since Around September of last year.  I have  submitted the registration approx. 6 times.  Each time I call ringcentral and they tell me what to do and each time I have completed the task.  This has included everything from changing my website to resubmitting the form with specific language.  I have been told on at least three occasions that the inflation has been reviewed and everything is correct; only to have been denied again.  I have asked for supervisions or someone who has more knowledge that the agents I get on the phone or chat.  Either ringcentral does not have anyone who is a supervision or the agents are trained to never put one on the phone -- either way I still dont have the TCR registration complete.  I had no problem with my prior, and current text provider, getting this approved.  Does anyone have any suggestions, contacts, or other help that can be offered to get this set up.  Thanks.  

We were impacted by the outbound sms outage today. We followed the workaround provided by the status page, removed our numbers assigned to the approved campaign and tried to re-assign them. One of the numbers failed to be added immediately no matter what we tried. Support told us that we have to call TCR team in the morning. Any other suggestions? Side note, we received notice that there were SMS setup error white assigning number at 11:31AM today while no action was taken from our part. 

Our TCR for using SMS was approved a long time ago (early 2023) and lots of our staff have been able to send outgoing SMS messages, despite them not being listed in the TCR registration. Two questions:Why do we have a list of users registered when essentially everyone can send SMS messages via the RC Phone app?  When this service interruption is resolved, will our staff be able to resume their normal SMS activity? And by regular, I mean they randomly text individual customers about appointments. -John
