When using Ring Central app on an android phone, when making and receiving calls, people can not hear me when talking, unless I change it to Speaker phone during the call, then they can hear me fine. If I turn off speaker phone during call, they cannot hear me.Nothing wrong with phone as normal phone calls and MS Teams calls all work fine when using the phone normally (up to ear) and on speakerphone.Have checked all the settings and Microphone is added to Ring Central App etc. Have wiped the phone back to factory settings and update it, and made sure that have the latest RC app from play store. Cannot understand why it works on Speaker and not on normal (up to ear) just for this App????Any help appreciated.

Whenever my company finishes a call, we give a separate number for the customer to call and then proceed to block the number temporarily so that our "hotline" isn't backed up with unnecessary calls. I've blocked numbers from the admin portal and from the extension but we still receive calls even though they're blocked. I'm just curious what I need to do in order to stop receiving calls to our "hotline." Thanks!

I used the bulk import form and included the MAC/Serial number. After I did so all the phones are showing "order is pending" status. I tested with a phone and it boots up but in the portal it still showed pending until I rebooted the phone 4 times like an article I found said to do so. My question is, is there another work around as I have 65 phones to deploy and do not really want to have to reboot the phone 5 or 6 times X 63.

I'm setting up Poly b2 base with three Rove 30 handsets. I go through the ring central admin portal and get to the point 9in the automated setup where you enter the phones MAC address and get an error message stating the number is not recognized. It does regardless which handset info I enter.Polycom has confirmed the phones are unlocked and the info I'm entering is correct.Any ideas on how to fix this. RC and Spectrum have been useless

Within RC Admin panel, I go to Auto-Receptionist>General Settings. From there I can select a site, then select "Forward all site calls". Is there a way to give certain non-admin users that ability? Or create a admin role only ties to that site?

Some companies/hospitals are calling us saying they can not get faxes to go through to us on a Hellofax number we ported in?

Is it possible to have have 2 extensions from different Ringcentral Accounts on the same VOIP phone?

Is there a way to have two mailboxes on one extension or a bilingual mailbox? ie a caller reaches the voicemail and the greeting says: "To continue this message in French press (we'll say for example) 3. If they press 3 the other mailbox takes over and the French greeting plays and that mailbox takes the message.My past provider had this set up as does another VoIP provider.I've been a RC customer for a long time and I am not aware of this being available - but thought it may be worth asking in case it's something someone else has asked about

We have several users who have reported that recently calls going to their Office@Hand app are going straight to voicemail. Despite having the app running on their mobile device, and their laptop. No DND is set, no special call handling or forwarding rules are set. The only solution is that once this starts happening they have to reinstall the apps and it works fine for a few days, then triggers again.This isn't happening to just one person, this is happening to multiple people. Has anyone else experienced this?

Does RC have any intention to allow users the ability to press zero internally and the call ring a pre determined / selected internal extension?This question has been asked for several years but has never been put on a timeline.

I recently purchased a Yealink W52P with 2 handsets. I need to connect each handset to a separate extension, however it is only allowing me to connect to a single one. Can anyone help me with this?Thank you,

We are having a critical issue with our RingCentral Call Queue sending calls directly to voicemail. When an inbound is made to our call queue number, the routing takes it straight to voicemail, no agents phones ring, all agent's are set to available and it is business hours. All configs have been triple checked and this seems like a bug or issue.

Am I able to assign each handset a different extension? Or do I need two bases with one handset each?

Hello we have our RingCentral connected to Outreach for our sellers. We didn't have any issues for awhile until about 6 or so months ago RingCentral doesn't want to stay connected for our sellers and phone calls are not letting our sequences continue. Also we started to see this banner that we never seen before on the dialer within Outreach: "For Demo Purposes Only." Outreach is looking into it on there end but they can't replicate what is happening. Any insight or help?

Hello,I set up a new call queue for our sales team and they would like to answer calls from that queue on their personal (external) number. I told them to use the forward all calls option but that seems to only work when their extension is dialed directly rather than from the call queue. I've been messing with this for a bit and can't seem to figure it out, are calls received from a queue able forwarded from the client side? If so, how can that be done?Thank you!

How can I set up a way to pick up a call ringing on another extension after several rings?

Call monitoring issue - your don't have permission to monitor . We escalated the issue to ringcentral support on sep2023 but still issue was not resolved.

We have an office with two phones, one at either end of a large space. I want these phones to have the same number, and to ring at the same time. These phones never need to be called individually, and they don't need to place simultaneous outgoing calls. It seems like the "Shared Lines" feature is closest to what I'm looking for, but the list of devices which support Shared Lines are all wired devices. Ideally, I want wireless handsets.Is it possible to have a base station with two wireless handsets, sharing the same number, using the setup I describe? Is it necessary to purchase two digital lines to make this setup work?

I used to be a RingCentral customer but now I'm with Specturm's RingCentral and there is no tech support via live chat here. Am I missing something? Also I'm shocked by the lack of knowledge of Specturm's RingCentral tech support call center compared to RingCentral's. Is anybody else finding it challenging to get help here?

When customers are waiting in our Queue, rather than hanging up because they are frustrated with the wait time, could I set up an extension for them to dial to be sent to voicemail so we can get back to them at a later time?

HelloWe have two users extensions 301 and 302. All calls come through to ext 301. Many of these need to be transferred to ext 302 however they need to be screened first. My thoughts are to put the call on hold, speak to user on intercom at extension 2 and then transfer the call if appropriate. Is this correct or is there a better/preferred way to configure thia setup. Both extensios are using a Yealink T31P.Thanks!

Some of my users are seeing the Privacy dialog below. The most recent instance occurred when the user finished a video call. Her video stayed on screen until she clicked "Don't allow" then it disappeared.Any information on what RC is doing in this case? Thanks

Hello I have a question regarding Call Rules and forwarding. In the image i have this setup as extension 1 and 2 ring together. If no one is able to answer either of those 2 phones the call is forwarded to extension 3. If no one picks up on extension 3 will the call go to the voicemail? And if it does, does it go to the orginal (extension 1s) voicemail or does it stay in extension 3s voicemail?Thanks
