We have a Spectrum Business Connect phone number that is absolutely never dialed. It is my understanding (I didn’t set it up) that this line is ”pointed to” our company main phone number 972–304-1800 that is managed by RingCentral. With RingCentral we have this 972-304-1800 number forwarding all calls to the owner’s cell phone exclusively. Business phone 972-304-1800 cannot accept text messages nor the number assigned to us by Spectrum. Everything actually comes to and from a cell phone managed by a third party. We practically never text with a customer or vendor - it is an odd occurrence if ever done. Do we need to register? Which number do we register?

We have a larger RC environment with over 100 call queues. I am looking to be able to pull some type of report or see some info in the analytics portal that shows a reps total available time in call queues. We are trying to be able to monitor how long employees are available for calls during their workday.

We update our ring groups quite frequently. With the latest release when you click on Ungroup it deselects the current users of the group and also includes users that were previously removed from the group in the list of members that can be selected. With the amount of ring groups that we have and the amount of members within each ring group it can be difficult to memorize who should be there and who shouldn't. How do I go about removing previous members from the ring group screen altogether?

I use RC with a physical phone, and I can create a conference call with 2 others, but I need to add more people to the call, and when I try to add the third person, the conf feature is removed from my options.Thank you! Rachel

I have a customer who wanted four staff members phones to ring simultaneous on incoming calls to their main number so I have set them up with a call queue. At times during the day the four staff members maybe on other calls, in meetings or away from their desks; when this happens I currently have it forwarding to the voicemail of one of the members as they don't seem to check the voicemail on the extension of the call queue. My customer has asked if calls go un-answered in the call queue could it be sent to an IVR instead of a mailbox, that way the caller might be able to reach the person they are looking for or at least leave a message in their mailbox instead of a general mailbox? I have tried to set up the overflow option in the specific call queue, have it flow to another call queue that I have called Overflow and then in the Overflow call queue added a custom rule to send it to the extension of the IVR. Is there a trick to searching the SMS Log under Reports? I've tried every scenario of number formatting that I can think of, click on Apply but all it does is refresh the screen with new SMS messages.Any tips would be appreciated.Thank you

My company stopped using RingCentral a while ago. Use case: Significant portion of our incoming calls gets abandoned in the call queue(they hang up before it gets connected to an agent). I am looking for a way to see these abandoned callers (their phone numbers) in a near real-time way so that agents can call them back.

Hello,We had a bunch of missed calls for about 2 hours today in a call queue and I am wondering if it is possible to check the status of the people within the queue at the time the calls were missed?

We have a call queue for our main knowledge center. The call queue manager reported an issue wherein all callers are unavailable during business hours and a call will not automatically go to voicemail. The queue is set up to wait for a given time before going to voicemail. There is no option for a caller to be sent right to voicemail with a different message (all agents are busy, if you'd like to leave a voicemail press 1). But we have a recording of this message that we've put into the call queue previously that say this, but not the option is no longer there. The call queue manager has said something has changed in the past few weeks. I have a ticket open with RC and they say that's never been an option. I'm trying not to pass judgement on either side, but I know this person and they are kind of a stickler for how their call center runs. Is it possible there WAS a change and the RC tech doesn't know that? Is there a setting we're missing?

A user in our company has an issue where the RingCentral desktop application shuts down unexpectedly and tries to reinstall itself. I have tried to uninstall the program and then download it again but the issue persists. For now I have her use the browser version but I want to know if there is a fix available or planned.

When answering on headphones for the first 10 seconds the caller's voice is very faint. How can I rectify this? It is very annoying especially working in a very loud office.

I need to be able to copy the same 5 people for every SMS message I send. Is there a way to create a group and include them - example - SalesProspect (individual) plus SalesTeam (5 people in my back office group) - without having to manually add the 5 people every time?

Since the new app was released and we can no longer log into the call queue lines from the new app we have found that we have NO way to access text messages being sent to the call queue. This is a big problem for my business and needs rectified immediately. Has anyone found a work around or a solution to this?,If anyone has figured out how to access their call queue text messages since the new app has come out can you please share? We have nothing but problems with the call queue line since the new app has been released. We can only access the voicemails on this line by going in through the admin portal and call queue management. The app won't allow us to log into call queue any longer. SO FRUSTRATING!!!! I am trying to find out what the cost per SMS Message is and if there is a limit to the number of texts that can be sent on a monthly basis. In looking at the SMS Log I am seeing costs of .0085, .0017 and .0013 for each segment but am not sure how those values are generated. We do not subscribe to a SMS plan since our texting volume is fairly low.Any insight would be appreciated.Thank you

How to send Faxes via Email? The Faxes Sent via Email section is missing from Fax settings.I'm following these instructions: https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Setting-up-a-fax-cover-page.html?brand=RingCentral&product=MVP&language=en_US The "Faxes Sent via Email" section shown in the documentation simply doesn't exist in the "Fax Settings" section, so I can't add an email that has permission to fax. This section is missing when I look at it from the admin side and from the individual user side. Notice also that I am not able to check the checkbox "Allow this user to send faxes using Email-to-fax"

Currently we use a cloud service for faxing (because we have one dept. that can receive anywhere from 500 to1000 health care related faxes a day) because of the limitations of RingCentral faxing, we are looking into RingCentral Archiver and/or RingClone so that faxes can be archived on a regular basis. We have a company built Software that is able to access the fax folder within the cloud fax service vendors platform and extract a group of faxes for processing, does anyone know if either Archiver noted above has this type of accessibility (via API, etc.)?Does anyone maybe have this same scenario and use a different Archiver platform?I hope the above makes sense.......

For the past three months we've been having issues with group text messages where if we send out a group text message and someone in the group has T-Mobile, that person does not receive a group text message. Instead, they receive an individual text message from us and when they respond, it only comes back to us. This becomes an issue when say borrowers, agents, brokers, attorneys, etc. are all trying to get on the same page and the person using T-Mobile only sees the text from us and none of the other recipient's responses. It's been causing a lot of unnecessary confusion. We've run into this numerous times now and are able to easily replicate the issue. We even replicated it when it first started happening with Customer Support during our first 3-hour call to them trying to fix this. We were told then that no one else has reported the issue, everything looks fine on their end, and for us to contact T-Mobile. We're all setup wi
