We are using the RingCentral Standard Canadian.I'm about to start the porting process for our direct dial numbers and our main company numbers. I've already setup our current system to handle the forwarding, but once I've started porting them I want the RingCentral system to be able to show our current DDI's and company number as the outgoing caller ID instead of using the temporary numbers in RC.Will I get this as an option once I start porting?

I've been experiencing latency issues while using the RingCentral Phone for Windows/Mac and being connected to WiFi. How can I fix this?Latency(also known as delay) refers to the time it takes a voice packet to reach its destination and is measured in milliseconds. Latency of 150ms or less (one-way) is generally acceptable. Latency greater than 150ms (again, one way) adversely affects the call quality experience.Your network bandwidth and setup greatly affects whether or not you experience latency or reduced QoS (quality of service).It's important to check your Network Settingsand speak with your ISP if you're having considerable latency issues - RingCentral is simply an end point and has no control over the traffic that is on a network.

I am trying to find a fax that I send 1.5 months ago. I can't find it. How can I see this?

We would like to use RingCentral and Teams to schedule conference calls like Webex Teams. We are using the latest Ring Central desktop app and I have created a team. It does not seem to offer a schedule option to schedule a Teams conference call. Does anybody know if this is even possible and if not can this be added later as a feature?

I have a US account, only ever used for faxing. Tried to send a fax yesterday, the desktop app and the web app did not give me the compose fax option. Can see old faxes, but no way to create a new one. Even tried fax to email and it gave me this message "The fax you submitted on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 12:55 PM could not be sent because your account doesn't have fax sending capabilities. If you would like to use this functionality, please upgrade your account and resubmit your fax or contact our customer support." Can anyone help? Was supposed to get a call back yesterday according to support but haven't heard anything

Android cell phone on Verizon WirelessRingCentral Office Standard PlanFor either the RC Phone app or the Ring Central app (I'm honestly not sure why there are 2 apps?), how can you force all incoming calls to come through the standard carrier voice network, and not utilize VOIP? VOIP can be inconsistent when driving on the road, and Verizon has a strong network for voice. So I would much rather use my carrier's standard voice network/carrier minutes for all incoming and outgoing calls, and totally skip the VOIP option all together.In the RingCentral app, there is a setting for outbound calls "Use Only Carrier Minutes" which is great. But this only affects outbound calls, not inbound calls.In RC Phone, when I click to turn off the "Data (VoIP) Calling" setting, incoming calls no longer ring my phone, and I just get a missed call notification.In my testing, I was able to successfully receive multiple incoming calls via my carrier's standard voice network (

The URI rcmobile worked for the Ring Central Phone app but does not work for the RC App. Since the RC Phone app is being retired and replaced by the RC App, this rcmobile URI needs to be updated to work correctly with the RC App. This is a critical problem that needs to be addressed. This rcmobile URI allows for third-party apps to call out using Ring Central. How can the new RingCentral app be forced to launch at startup? I don't see the toggle switch (that is available in RingCentral Phone) in this new app. Thank you.

We don't always receive the recorded voicemail message in email, only the text. They were coming through fine but have now stopped.

I'm using MY PHONE. Not one supplied by my employer. I have zero interest in the app having access to my dialer, contacts, or texts. VOIP (whether cell or wifi data) should be able to provide a self-contained system to do that without interfering or needing access to my contacts, my text messages in the native or other apps.If it is WORK communication it should reside in the app, or my work CRM, not in my phone.When I installed the new Ring Central it absolutely interfered with texts SELECTIVELY!! IT prevented my sending my own email to my friend inside a text in my Google Messenger app on a Samsung Galaxy S8...thus it was examining my outgoing texts and interfering with them. I have proof of this from screen shots where what I sent wasn't received. As soon as I uninstalled the RC App it functioned normally. With the recent updates you have made to your phone and desktop apps surrounding the SMS/texting functionality, all of the features that we needed and loved about the apps were removed. You can no longer mark as unread, visibility, search functionality and location, meaning where you have to go to text from, are all harder to find, get to and respond with, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, one of the best features that was removed was your ability to archive or "close the conversation". Due to the loss of functionality with your texting you have made it extremely difficult for our teams to use the app effectively and therefore we are having to look for other solutions to meet our needs. There is already a lot of missing functionality over some other providers, such as shared/departmental texting/sms. and now, other then statistical data etc, google voice has more functionality. Is there a way to revert back to the old versions?

Hi, we have a set of users managing a Tech Support number while the usual reps are 'off'. We have rules set up for different members of the team to receive the calls at different periods through the day but if they cannot answer it goes to the personal voicemail of that person rather than the tech support one. Is there a way to ensure that anyone ringing in to the tech support number is always getting the tech support voicemail?

I've downloaded and installed the latest RingCentral app (version 20.2.31.176) for Windows 10. There doesn't seem to be an option, anywhere, where I can configure this app to start when I log in to Windows. RingCentral classic has this option.Can you please tell me where I can set this, or do I have to copy a shortcut of this into my 'startup' folder in my start menu?

Will the softphone or desktop app work in Remote desktop situation?

Is there a way to send a text to a saved list. I would like to be able to send a text to all my employees cell phones.

I've tried going to 'add or remove programs' from system settings option but that couldn't find the program as well?So I am unsure where it is or even if it's installed or not.

I had a Macintosh computer with the RingCentral app and when a call came in to my 800 service it rang on the app, then I could manually forward it to my landline phone if I was in the office. It used to display calling line ID on my phone, now with the PC app it just shows the company name and my phone number. Overall the Mac app was much nicer.How can I get calling line ID info to forward?

Frankly, the various apps all have the same name and make no sense to me. I just need an app where I can send and receive texts from clients -- not an internal team! Currently the texts I receive come in with only a phone # id and I cannot revise the profile to add a name. I have no idea who is texting me and it is only by going back and reading the history that it becomes apparent. It's no way to run my business. What am I missing?PS - my app says RingCentral
