Is it possible to use Ringcentral api's within apex / flows to automate sms messages -single and bulk messages?

Every call that comes in on our mobile app hangs up on the first ring, we have to go back into the ring central app, hit switch and then confirm for each call

We have a small office and we got this because I do alot of texting with our customers and outside workers. The ring Central app is horrible if you are like me and are not text/messaging Teams or the two other people with Ring Central phones. I have to go through a bunch of steps just to get to the texts and calls. And now I am group messaging my works and I can only do this through the app on my phone and not the one on my computer. The other app was sooo much better the one with the phone Icon.. I don't know who the hell came up with this one. Maybe I am doing something wrong and if I am let me know

Is it possible for an agent to answer another call when he's on a call?

I own 2 companies that use Ring Central. I currently have 2 versions of the Ring Central apps on my Iphone. I was just notified that as of June 12th, we are not going to be able to use the 2nd app and therefore I will have to switch from Ring Central to a competitor because of this. I want to have the ability to answer calls for my different companies all from one cell phone and not have to use 2 cell phones. It's very surprising that this is not a feature. I've worked with Ring Central tech support and they tell me it can't currently be done. Is that accurate?

This may be impossible but I have to ask. My client is running a call center for state relief funds and is getting swamped with inbound calls, sometimes 30 a minute. With a limited number of caseworkers, it can take a lot of calls to get a person. But they are telling me that once a caller gets through, they seem to get through the second or third time ahead of others. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? And they are working with 4 different counties and think one county is getting through more than the others. Is that even possible?Any insite would be appreciated!

Multiple call forwarding for user extension is now limited to 2 phones if the users are members of the call queue. This call forwarding limitation alert is a recent update to our system.This is causing problems for us. I see no reason we cannot forward calls to more than one user including the user we are forwarding from. We occasional forward to two users when one is out of the office. I want to leave the original user number left on to catch any voicemails if the other two cannot pick up the call, or the caller wants to leave a voicemail for the person out of the office.For example, we have users A, B and C. C is on vacation; we want to leave Cs phone on to catch any voicemails, and forward calls to both A and B. As it works now, we can forward to A and B, but have to remove Cs number from accepting calls. This is unacceptable and a step backward in service to RingCentral customers.Please allow us to again be able to forward to more that two numbers at a time.Thank You

Any idea if we will soon see cost codes on user profiles or be able to modify cost center codes by users or extension. I like the cost center management, but it is really not helpful if this feature is not tied to the user profile

Wondering if there is an option somewhere, or if not plans to implement the ability to see the number a text message was sent to in email notifications for text messages. We have quite a few Company numbers that all go to a SMS dump via the Auto Receptionist general settings since we don't want our sites to receive texts. Those email notifications only ever show the user, not the number the message was sent to. This would be helpful for diagnosing where miscommunications are happening in the field.A log of SMS activity company-wide would be majorly beneficial as well.US Company, RingCentral Office Standard.

I currently am backing up all recorded calls into Google drive, but been having trouble looking it up by phone number, since google drive doesn't lookup by specific text in the title, it only lets me lookup by the first word in the text (usually inbound or Outbound)Has anyone had this issue? if so any suggestions?

Yesterday, may 16th, most of my text messages disappeared, i wanna know how you guys control the amount of text messages and how can i prevent such situations in future. Also i see messages only in RC Phone and your "new" app with letter R don't even show any text messages, only call log. Another bug?

When typing into RC and i backwards select a word and type over it the first letter of the word becomes capitalized. I recall this being a bug in Slack a while ago too.

I am a system admin. we are using Phone System - Groups - Other to manage a general voicemail box. For the past two weeks, I have been unable to delete voicemail messages. I get an error message that the request cannot be completed at this time. Has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix the issue?

We have the ringcentral desktop app for texting. We can not get links to go through. How can this be done? We need the ringcentral app to text back and forth with for Text, Pictures and Bitly Links

We have a Polycom system with 2 separate wired microphones but our people that call in still have issues hearing between people talking and the wired mics picking up keyboard typing etc. Anyone used any other sort of wired system connected to a computer or any other solution for this? Our out of town users enjoyed using zoom calls more but now that most of us are in a single room it has become an issue for those not in attendance at the meetings. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Only last seven received faxes are accessible. I have always been able to view last 30 days. Not sure why it changed but I need it switched back. Any ideas?

We have a receptionist extension that multiple employees use to monitor text messages sent to our main number. I typically keep that open in the RingCentral app.We also have each employee log into the RingCentral Phone app for their direct extension on their cell phones.This was suggested to us as a way to handle this situation by our account manager when we first set up our RC account.My understanding is that the mobile phone app is being sundowned. Is there a workaround or a different way to approach this?

New Policy?We have an Office Premium account in the USA with a Digital Line (Our 888 number) as well as a 2500 minute toll-free bundle.We have a small business with sales reps in 10 states.We have our toll free 888 number attached to a single user with extension (i.e. 104).Under call handling and forwarding for this user (#104) we have listed the 10 cell phone numbers for the 10 different representatives we have in the different states.We had this set up to Simultaneously ring all 10 phones at once so as to be fair to all representatives. They work off commission. Whoever answers first gets the order and commission. If one rep was on the line the other 9 phones would still ring and the next rep would get the order and so on.I went to make a change to one of the phone numbers in the list of call forwarded numbers, (new rep) and now when I try to save the change, I get an alert telling me that no more than 2 call forwarding numbers can

How can I set on my settings - for me to received FAX messages without me answering the phone. ( on settings 3 rings it will receive the FAX)

Our customer Maria with account number: 14437325867 wants to restore the feature wherein they can listen realtime when ever caller leaves a voicemail.

Our company has a lot of people who are now splitting their time working in the office and remotely. In my mind, one of the basic reasons for a system like RingCentral is that users can receive their calls on any device, no matter where they are. Last week, I found out that call forwarding does not work as expected.Consider the following scenario. Jane works in the office sometimes and other times she works from home. Susan is going to be out of the office and Jane is her backup. Jane happens to be working from home that day and Susan configures her account to forward her calls to Jane.The expected behavior would be that Jane would be able to receive those calls regardless of which device she is using (desk phone or Mobile app). However, it does not work. The forwarded calls ONLY ring to Jane's desk. There is no way to forward another user's calls to another user's mobile app.I spent some time on the phone with Ring Central support trying to configure this and they started

I click on my softphone Icon and it just loads in the taskbar but the soft phone does not appear. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Same issue. Need this to work. I'm on windows 10.

I have an office which has voice latency problems only right after they have put a caller on hold. The local tech tried this from a few different phones in the office and also tried from home to see if the problem was specific to the office. The problem is replicated at home as well. Is this a known bug? Is there any work around? The site in question only uses about 8Mbps and has 50Mbps of bandwidth and AutoQOS is configured on the Cisco switch. There is NO contention for bandwidth as the users are only using VMWare Horizon virtual desktop. So I am certain this is not an issue of bandwidth startvation.

What is the best way to block any international number from calling into a business?
