RingCentral work calls show on iPhone carrier call history clogging up my personal contacts and adding to iPhone. I need ability to disable linking my call log with ringcentrals please.

I am trying to set up the system so that when a call comes in it will forward to a different (outside) phone number and extension. (ir: incoming calls would be forwarded to our other location 555-1212 ext 37)if the call is not answered it will then roll over to a different phone number and extension.I can see how to set up an external number for call forwarding but cannot see where the extension option is. 

We submitted all the docs/registration for TCR and now the entire system has crashed - no outbound texting, a broken API and Ring Central won't even acknowledge the mess they have caused. Customer Service Rep was RUDE!! Asked us to restart the campaign, pay $26 three different times, and told us a new 20 day wait. All while we see the API is broken! Time for a new VOIP provider...good by Ring Central!!!

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the repeated rejections of my SMS TCR registration. Despite following the guidance provided by support team in detail during multiple calls, where I was assured that my submission met the required standards, my application continues to be rejected. This has become a very frustrating and time-consuming process, with each rejection presenting a new reason after a review period of approximately 20 days.The most recent rejection cited the following:"DCA2 declined sharing request for campaign . Explanation: Opt-in message/Confirmation MT must contain brand name, HELP, opt-out, message frequency, and associated fees disclosures. Opt-out message must contain brand name and indicate that no further messages will be sent. HELP message must contain brand name and contain support contact (email, phone number, or support website). (611)"Any advice how to resolve the problem with TCR Registration? 

I am trying to get my Ring Central calls while my Android cell phone’s DND is active.  I found this article but am not sure what exceptions it is telling me to grant?  I have made sure that Ring Central is listed under App Notifications>>>Allow during Do not disturb

The exact plan is to create shared email and assign a number to it in ring central admin portal, the same email can be used with all users for sending & receiving fax.. User can access shared email through SSO. please suggest if can implement something like that.

Is it possible to configure the Windows phone app's history to have a column with time of call next to person'sname?

We have a custom field on the Task that is called Call Outcome, it is a picklist. If a user chooses a value from the field on the soft phone layout they need to hit ‘save’ in the corner - why is it not auto saving the data? I don’t want to put the 5 minute delay on the record because I do not know how long the calls will be. Other dialers we have worked with auto save the data and update the task - does any one know if there is a way to auto save a change in the data on the soft phone

I cannot sent any SMS for 3 weeks now and I cannot even receive any SMS for 2 days now. This is just getting worse everyday. Our company do exactly what Ringcentral told more than 5 times but our whole company still cannot sent any SMS and I even cannot receive any SMS. We build this business with hardwork for more than 10 years and you guys are destroying it. Please solve this issue immediately.

We already use a different program for internal messaging, with no intention of moving away from it. I understand that users can hide the message tab from their main menu, but I am requesting a feature be implemented to disable Message entirely.  

We have just replaced our phone system with RingCentral and I am looking for some assistance with how to play incoming call ringers through our wired PA system.We are a manufacturing facility and have a phone for “incoming emergency calls” (family members needing to reach an employee on the floor etc...). I have Ring Central EX and I’m trying to block an OUTBOUND  number from being called by my office.   I have a former customer who’s asked us not to call them any longer and I’m hearing that Ring Central can’t do this for the EX platform.   I’m shocked that a major phone system doesn’t have this extremely important feature.   Yes I know that I can block a number from calling me but instead I want to block a number so that nobody on my staff can call them.

The TCR support team is insisting that I add an SMS opt-in checkbox to my website contact form because we collect phone numbers. However, we only collect these numbers to make calls, not to send texts, and we don’t want to obtain SMS consent through the form. Our privacy policy explicitly states: “Consent for SMS communication is not collected through our website; it is implied only when a customer initiates contact by texting us.”Since we don’t text these numbers collected on the form, and our privacy policy clarifies this, adding an opt-in checkbox would be contradictory.Can anyone clarify why RingCentral is requiring an SMS opt-in checkbox in this case? We only use SMS for internal purposes, 2FA, or when responding to customers who text us first, and it’s limited to just three numbers.

Badly in need to help with TCR Registration. We’ve been at this since October and so far we keep getting denied, with reasons most of the time not in the list of errors so we don’t know what to do. Here’s the recent one:Explanation: Rejection Code 3106: Invalid Campaign Description - Either a phone number or link was found in the sample messages, but the associated embedding field was not set to true.

I am looking for an answer more recent than those I see from 1, 2 and 3 years ago, where they give directions that no longer appear to apply.Where do I find the setting that enables me to change the audible ring on my desktop phone from only 1 ring? I have looked all over the Settings (both desktop and mobile app) and don’t see how to do this.Under Settings/Phone/Incoming call rules/Work hours/Ring settings/Ring in order I have my desktop phone set to ring first, and I have it set to 6 rings. But it is only audibly ringing once on the desktop phone, making it hard to hear and catch.Please help!

Is there a way to automate emailing an address summary/notes of all calls? Like what you do with missed voicemails. 

We previously had a different phone company and recently switched to RingCentral in January, which now seems like a huge mistake. We had no issues with our TCR registry with our previous phone company, but since switching, we have had to resubmit our application twice. We even had our website designer update all of our website’s contact forms to ensure compliance.Texting is a crucial part of our business, and now we are locked into a year-long contract with a phone company that we can’t even use, which is severely inhibiting our operations. My patients are unable to reach me via text like they are normally used to and have began to think that we are ignoring them due to the extended time it has taken for this to get processed. Can anyone please provide insight or help on how to resolve this? We last resubmitted on February 18th. We know that, per RingCentral, the process can take 20–30 days, but that seems excessive, considering our last phone company completed our registrati

Just a general question, after multiple times of rejection the TCR Registration is now approved however. At the very end  at the SMS registration fee’s it says “Automated SMS (APIs, workflow builder, third party apps) not allowed.”, for reference the campaign is Conversations (Between Employees) & Conversations (External), does that mean we cannot send automated messages even if we have a campaign for EXTERAL detailing that “We will use SMS to schedule consultations, send appointment reminders, confirm project details, provide updates, and follow up on ongoing projects.”? How should we go about this?After multiple rejections and on top of that another fee will be charged to the account if we submit another one.

Hi all,How do I disable voicemail in call queues ?For a user no problem, it's easy to change for just an annoucement but i don't find that for the call queues...

 Hello RC Community,Reaching out after months of zero success support ticket and escalation.There is something happening in the past few months and I can’t be the only one.In a nutshell: i am the super-admin and designated operator “0” extension previously (10+ yrs), no problem sending/receiving SMS from company main #, across all platformsToday: I am still super admin. still operator assigned, but…on mobile/iPad (iOS 18/iPadOS), i am unable to use the company main # to send SMS i am restricted to using direct extension/additional assigned numbers  inbound SMS to main number -> view access only on mobile apps cannot reply (unless i start a new chat from one of the other numbers) the mobile apps do not respect the “outbound caller ID” rules per user/extension on web/desktop app, the previous functionality hasn’t changed.

Every time I am on the phone using my Voyageur headset with the RingCentral desktop app and another call comes in my current call gets automatically put on hold. It happens after maybe the 2nd or 3rd ring.

I have a phone number that I use for voice and texting and it goes through RingCentral. I use MyCase case management software and there is an option to use Twilio for text communications. I’m told that I can reprogram the texts sent to my number to forward to the Twilio number. How involved is that process? How long does it take to set things up? Is it something that the customer does, or do we go to our RingCentral rep (Spectrum) to do all that?
