RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

When using SMS messaging, is there a way to have the “OPT OUT” Language as a footer of every message sent?  I don’t want to add this as a template for every text..

Is anyone from the Seattle/Eastside area getting ringing phones, but once you pick up, no audio? We also try to get into the VM messaging center, and no tone, nothing. 

I have been trying to get my TCR registration approved since Around September of last year.  I have  submitted the registration approx. 6 times.  Each time I call ringcentral and they tell me what to do and each time I have completed the task.  This has included everything from changing my website to resubmitting the form with specific language.  I have been told on at least three occasions that the inflation has been reviewed and everything is correct; only to have been denied again.  I have asked for supervisions or someone who has more knowledge that the agents I get on the phone or chat.  Either ringcentral does not have anyone who is a supervision or the agents are trained to never put one on the phone -- either way I still dont have the TCR registration complete.  I had no problem with my prior, and current text provider, getting this approved.  Does anyone have any suggestions, contacts, or other help that can be offered to get this set up.  Thanks.  

We were impacted by the outbound sms outage today. We followed the workaround provided by the status page, removed our numbers assigned to the approved campaign and tried to re-assign them. One of the numbers failed to be added immediately no matter what we tried. Support told us that we have to call TCR team in the morning. Any other suggestions? Side note, we received notice that there were SMS setup error white assigning number at 11:31AM today while no action was taken from our part. 

Our TCR for using SMS was approved a long time ago (early 2023) and lots of our staff have been able to send outgoing SMS messages, despite them not being listed in the TCR registration. Two questions:Why do we have a list of users registered when essentially everyone can send SMS messages via the RC Phone app?  When this service interruption is resolved, will our staff be able to resume their normal SMS activity? And by regular, I mean they randomly text individual customers about appointments. -John

When voicemails go through our company’s call queues, they end up on the shared team email with the transcription. We have stopped receiving them as of 3 this morning. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Under notifications for these numbers, Voicemail messages by Email is checked.

my SMS SERVICE suddenly blocked with notifying me and they are telling me about some TCR services. i have been using SMS services for more than an year now. they are not co-operative and don’t know how to fix the issue. not have good expereince.   

I’m on my 9th (yes ninth) in 7 months. How many submissions and subsequent “corrections” did you have to make before you were finally accepted and registered? Or are you like me and still sitting in purgatory?  If you finally got registered, please share your tips and tricks! 

Anyone know the process to get the Mitel 485G telephones custom background to work with the Ring Central product? Previously on Mitel it would be located under the Inetpub folder and phones new when registering to the prem system to check for the image. Now going to Ring Central where/how do we get the phones to look for an image?

A manager would like to see the calls made by his team. How can I limit the Performance Reports so he sees only his team's calls?

Some of our staff are experiencing issues hearing callers. The audio is either too low or muffled until they adjust the system's volume. In RingCentral and Windows, the volume sliders are set to 100%. When we adjust the Windows slider, it temporarily resolves the issue for that call, but we have to repeat this adjustment for every call.

Does anyone knows how to get your Caller ID name displayed with Cricket phone provider ? 

I am at a loss.I’ve re-submitted 5-10 times. I’ve worked out all the details with RingCentral TCR Support.I updated things based on deep research online.I keep getting the same failed attempts.Can I just pay someone to update my site so that this goes through?I give up.

On the PHONE - KEYPAD screen where you select the phone number you are calling from it currently registers as the number. I suggest allowing it to be changed to a name so it is easier to recognize or verify which company is currently selected before making an outbound call.

We want to keep our business numbers with Ring Central for voice but we also text with customers from our business number. Because we have several different businesses and because there's no easy way to tell which number a customer has 'texted' within the glip/rc phone interface - it doesn't work well for us. We'd much rather have texts go into our team inbox platform (FrontApp). We can do this using twilio but they were unsure if, when going through the verification process, if Ring Central would allow Twilio to handle the SMS portion while keeping the number for voice.

Our phone system is completely offline. No email from RingCentral, just the following message on service status. I am unable to contact customer support because their phones and chat are also down.  Has this ever happened to anyone before? If so, how long were they down? This is very specific, but we are unable to make calls out to the 657 area code.  At our end calls ring once and seem to drop.  Customers are seeing the call.  We can receive calls.  We have checked other area codes and have no issues with calling out.  Is this a RingCentral issue?

the dial button is gray and the error is- Sorry, something is wrong on our end, so calling is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. been using wifi and lan connection but can't make outgoing calls. I can make calls using data connection on my mac and windows and can also make calls on mobile ios app using wifi. please help. Thanks!

FAX Can we customize fax notifications to: Only receive a fax notification status when there is a failed fax?We send more than 50-80 faxes per day and keep getting notification on email for each successfully sent fax. We will like to customize it to only receive a notification status for failed fax so we can resend it.

Each time I go over 100,000 usage minutes in a new UNLIMITED fax account (have been advised to close & open accounts due to this issue before), the system automatically starts sending me emails saying "Important Service Notice - Calling Credit - ZERO Balance" and trying to charge my credit card.The support folks are kind enough to offer to reimburse these charges as they occur, but the problem is they keep charging more and more with each bunch of faxes (since it's already over 100,000 minutes) and doesn't stop, needing me to jump through hoops each time to call, explain, convince, and ward off irrelevant justification attempts by several staff for being billed (you must be faxing international, you must be faxing toll-free numbers, etc, which are all irrelevant) before finally I am told it will be reimbursed and won't happen again (but it does).It would be SO MUCH NICER if you could only please program your system to not get triggered to bill us to begin with

Hi,I have a Cisco 191 ATA box. Can't seem to find anyone at ring central who has even heard of these let alone help me configure it.Can anyone help me please? We just got our SMS approval on our acct today but I am not able to receive texts from the main line only my direct line. And I am only able to send texts from my direct line. Is there a setting to click that will give me access to both lines for texting? As of now, I am able to change my caller ID back and forth, just need the same for SMS. 

What is my annual subscription fee
