If a user has unconditional call forwarding turned on, if a user calls from a 4 digit ring central extension, the voicemail is left in the Ring Central voicemail box, not the voicemail box on the extension phone listed under unconditional forwarding.This is an issue for users who don't use app-based mobile phones (and don't use the Ring Central mobile app). Ex. If someone calls that user at their 10 digit number, the voicemail is left on their mobile devices voicemail provider. If someone calls the user at their 4 digit number, the voicemail is left on their Ring Central voicemail box. That means it's possible for the user to miss voicemails, as not all are left on their mobile phone's voicemail provider.Can Ring Central please fix the issue or rename "Unconditional forwarding" something else, as that is not actually accurate. We have call queues setup and when a call is waiting in a queue to speak with an employee, if that employee is logged into the queue but happens to be on a call, both parties on that call hear beeps. I assume this is the "Calling Waiting Beeps." Note: This is not the "Call is being recording beeps" because that option is turned off and these beeps only happen when a call is waiting in the queue.Our employees do not use physical phones. They either use the desktop or mobile app.Does anyone know how this can be turned off while still being able to utilize the queue? I had no luck with RC support. Spent over an 90 minutes chatting and setting up new extensions, removing call monitoring, removing and reinstalling the desktop and phone apps, etc. Just a whirlwind of let's try this to see if it works. Certainly there must be a way to have calls wait in a queue without the beeping. Please let there be; otherwise, what good are the que

A user received a call, added a call to consult with a peer. The peer disconnected and the user needed to transfer the caller. Transfer was not an option. The only thing the agent could do was "add" a call again and remain on the line so as not to disconnect the caller.

I have faxed things in the past with this system, and since January 28, 2021, the system is hit or miss on sending outgoing faxes. I have multiple documents that are time sensitive that are not going through. I have updated to the newest version, have tried to fax from the portal, tried to fax from the app, etc. Nothing. Any help would be appreciated? In order to check to see if they came through with the recipient, I have to wait on hold for at least 2 hours each time. Very frustrating and not work productive at all. Thoughts?

Hello, My company is growing exponentially and I would like to see if there is somebody that can help me with this feature request on modifying the extension in a bulk. This will help out a lot since we just need to download a copy of our users and edit it and upload it back to ring central, that way we don't have to do one user at a time. This is not available in templates. Case number: 12214666

New Ringcentral account. Callers dial into our main organizational number and enter our IVR menus. Some of the menu options they select will transfer them to an external number. The experience is a bit jarring as they instantly leave our organization (whom they called) and are suddenly speaking to another organization. Is there some way to play a "handoff message" to the caller before they external transfer? E.g. "You pressed 5. Our partner xxx handles that. We will now transfer you to them... stand by..."

The automated outgoing message is mispronouncing my company name. Is there a way to fix that?

There should be a way to transfer a voicemail to another extension from the desktop app and the phone app.

My inbound message that customers hear when they call us gives a little detail about the business. My staff wants a shorter message announcing that the calls are being recorded for quality control purposes for outbound calls because when they are calling someone they want to quickly start talking. Currently, many customers hang up on them because the longer inbound message plays.

We just added a new local phone number and a new Cisco 8861 desk phone. I need to configure a PIN for the voicemail. But I'm not seeing that option when I go to Admin Portal > Users > User List > Users with Extensions. I'm Admin on the account. How to get it done? Thanks in advance.

Entered in contacts into the directory and assigned them to a line however it is only showing one name for all lines.

I haven't found any information about how to simply forward all calls to my cell phone instead of them going to my "office phone" or "virtual phone number," or whatever it's considered. I am thinking it's not possible because surely it would be one of the first asked question. I'm very confused. I will never use the office number and i have now found out that i have messages from a month ago in the queue. i just want to bypass that number completely - people can call it but it needs to forward to my cell and there when i type in this question, nothing is at all pertinent. I hope i can do that.... thank you. Barry

I have a user who picks up her department's main extension/number on her extension. She has it setup as a presence and the department number is also set to forward to her RC number. When the department number is called her physical phone rings like normal, but her cell and desktop apps don't ring. She can see the call history of the call coming in for the department number in her app call history, but it never rings to give her a chance to pick it up. If I ring an unused call queue that she is a part of or her direct extension then it rings her apps correctly. I did notice that her user profile didn't have the softphone device linked to her account even though she is logged in and using the apps. Is it possible that the "missing" softphone entry is causing this problem?

Clicking the button Log to Hubspot in the RingCentral phone widget does not seem to be working. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hello RC Community, Can anyone point me in the right direction? As I am trying to pull contact properties from RC to our HubSpot CRM, e.g., CRM is missing phone number for the majority of our contacts, but RC seems to have that missing field. It would need to update base on identifying the correct person in both databases. Not sure if this is possible but I thought I would seek some help within the community.All the best,

Is anyone else currently experiencing delays in receiving email notifications In Outlook for voicemails? Yesterday was a 7 hour delay and today it's over an hour

We are experiencing intermittent delays in voicemail email notifications. I double-checked our server and we have Whitelisted the notification email address as well as RingCentral's domain name. Has anyone else experienced this issue and were you able to correct the problem? Is this a known problem with the voicemail email notification feature?

When will the European market have the option to display the Company Caller ID name as the main caller ID, I have been told by RC support that at present this is a US option only?

Years ago I signed up for a Ring Central limited fax-only account for $10/year. During the entire period of my subscription I have used the fax service only a handful of times. Last year, charges appeared on my account for (unanswered) phone calls. So far the charges have added up to almost $40. Last Fall, a service rep promised to refund one of the charges but the credit never made it to my credit card. I've since found a setting to block all calls but not at all sure that this will stop the additional charges. Needless to say I am frustrated, If I can't get this resolved soon I will have to cancel my account and re-do my business cards without the fax number. Probably should have done this after the first overcharge.

With the new ringcentral app having everything in one place, how can we get the company fax and be able to send messages or glips as individuals and not from the company account? We were using 2 apps before, but now with it all in one app, we either have to log in as the company or personal line, can not do both

We have set a users extension up to simultaneously ring another users extension so it can be answered if the user is unavailable. We have found that doing this through call handling will only ring the desk phone of the user that it is being forwarded to and not the desktop or mobile app. Support says that is the expected behavior which makes no sense to me.. If the desk phone can ring, why is the mobile app and desktop app not ringing. Does anyone know a workaround for this other than using IVR and call queues?

When we transition between employees or reorganize roles in our company, at times one person may need to assume more than one extension. We find that verifying the uniqueness of an email is a road block.Recommendation: Remove the requirement that each extension has a unique email address.

I want to be able to have my deskphone ring first, then if I don't it moves to my softphone app on my phone. But I am unable to move the softphone to anything other than 1. This really restricts the usage of the entire app and adds a level of annoyance.Please let me know how to fix this, or change it in the next update.

Hi RC Developers,We are currently having issues with the new RC app. We arent able to pause and unpause a recording or mask a certain part of the conversation in a recorded call. We need that feature working for us.
