Ability to add GIF to message is gone with new RC client app

With the new "unified" RC client app, the ability to add GIFs to a message has disappeared. There is no button for it, and the old shortcut of "/giphy <text>" no longer works. What happened to it?

Mac OS: Message disappeared after saving an edit

US, Glip Mac OSVersion: 20.2.21 (E. 7.1.8)Build: 35 (rev. 2722aeb6)I typed a very long message into the app. Sent it. Saw a typo. Edited the typo. Hit save.Result: message disappeared. No one can see it now.Expected result: message did not disappear.I'm mighty cranky about this. That was a long message and now it's gone.

RingCentral Phone App - Group Messages

Hello,Currently on the latest version of RingCentral Phone app (20.1.0.38205) and am getting reports that users that send bulk text messages started sending as group texts today without warning or notification which caused some issues. I assume this is due to enabling group messaging and the re-work there. Will the option to de-select "make group text" be available in the RingCentral Phone app like it currently is on the web version of the RingCentral App? I am having users use app.ringcentral.com at the moment as that seems to be the only way for us to do it currently. We have tried RingCentral Phone and RingCentral App and neither have this option, only the web version of RingCentral App does. RC Phone on mobile still seems to send as bulk as of this morning as well but I would imagine that app will start sending as group messages soon as well.Will my users need to use the web version alongside the RingCentral Phone app now to accomplish bulk individual texts? Any ETA on Ri

Our organization has thousands of projects each year and is considering starting a team for each one that will then be archived. Is there a maximum number of teams for users or organizations?

Replying to Group Message Fails. Anyone Has any experience troubleshooting?

Account type: USDescription: One of our users was a recipient of a group message. The group message consists of 3 members including her and 2 of them are NOT RC numbers. whenever she tries to reply she gets the message "Message is not sent. Recipient extension is not found".only 1 of our users is affected.

Glip Closed Conversations

I would like to know where i can find the closed conversations in Glip. They are not deleted I had just closed them to remove them from the side menu but how do I see them again if I need something from the closed conversation?

Team member images are broken.

I am using Version: 19.10.2 (E. 5.0.10) Build: 144 (rev. 9ff98ad). Where the images used to show for other members in a Team conversation, they now show as broken image links. I have restarted both my workstation and the application. Is this a setting I need to change?

Glip Teams not sticking

Hi. We use Glip Teams for our Tech Support team. However, we have different techs on rotation every day and techs leave the team at the end of the day and rejoin in the morning if they were scheduled. We noticed that the Teams name is not sticking on the left panel once you leave the team. You always have to search for the team and join in the morning.Is there a way to bookmark it or save it in the panel so you can easily join the team in the morning?Thanks!

Bulk Delete Old/Completed Tasks in Glip

Dear Team,I am writing to find if there is a way to Bulk Delete Old/Completed Tasks in Glip?There are several tasks since 2016 in our Glip and when we try to see the Completed Tasks, it keeps hanging.is there a way we can see them month by month to limit the list so that it can load easily without hanging plus delete them or archive them in bulk?Any helpful response will be highly appreciated.Best Regards,Syed H | My Job Portal

Images only display in Teams?

US account; Latest software version; Same behavior on web app and Windows app; Super Admin loginIt seems like a while back any images, like JPGs, I attached to a message, task, reply, etc used to fully display along with the link. Now, that only seems to be the case in teams. What happened to that ability everywhere else? It is really counter-productive to have to click on a link one or twice to have it then load in a browser. Even then, it doesn't allow for the display of multiple images by arrowing through like is the norm in browsers or other image display apps. No, you have to exit back out and click the next link. Is there a problem? Was that functionality deleted in some update (haven't used RC Glip in a while, but getting back into it)? What am I missing?

Can you name a conversation?

We use the chat feature for Tech Support but we have different techs everyday so I can't really use Teams for that. is there a way to name a conversation so I don't just see everyone's name on the title?

On hold for 1 hour 40 minutes Saturday 12/21 1:30 AM through 3:10 AM

I called in to get help from Ring Central on Saturday, 12/21 because our after hours message was mal functioning and our customers could not contact the veterinarian on call for emergencies. I am a NEW customer and do not comprehend the Ring Central admin portal processes, but I am learning as fast as I can. But I needed help. I was on hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes and no one answered nor picked up. My sales rep (Ras Patel) is awesome - I emailed him and he took his personal time and fixed our problem for me on Sunday or early Monday. We had a lot of frustrated clients between Saturday and Monday morning and that really hurts our business. When we have an emergency, we need to know as a small business if our phones have a problem that Ring Central will be there to help promptly - even during difficult hours when we all would rather sleep. Our business relies heavily on after hours phone systems working properly and if they don't our clients really get frustrated and their pets liv

Preventing users from being to delete their own posts

I was curious if Admins can disable regular users from deleting their own posts. So for example, say Sarah posts messages on Glip. Can I make it so that Sarah can't delete any of her own messages and only Admins can delete any messages? If so, how can that be done? Also, can I make it that Sarah can't even edit any of her own posts? If so, how can that be done? And is it possible to make it so that none of the non admin people can delete or edit any of their posts...not just poor Sarah?

Hi there! Seeking an email solution for Teams

1 New Canada RC account 2. N/A 3. We field tech support requests via telephone and email and was wondering if there was an extension or API we could use to create a Team that would allow allow emailed Support requests to populate in that team. Similar to a call que yet specifically dedicated to email support requests. Any suggestions of add ons or work arounds would be greatly appreciated. Cheers from Canada

Is it possible to recover "private" conversation with deleted member ?

I deleted a person recently and I would like to recover some information that was included in private chat. I know that it is possible to see all message from that person in regular Team thread but I did not find a way to recover private conversations.

Removal of "/me" emote slash command?

Can anyone confirm if /me has been permanently removed? It still appears in the RingCentral keyboard shortcuts popup, but not on the slash commands.
