How can be the sms be disabled from RC phone desktop app for an extension user?

What are the option as a super admin in RingCentral admin portal to get access of all text messages of all the extension created?Can admin access or see messages of any other extensions?

we rescheduled a webinar date and yet post-webinar emails went out based on original date. Is this a known defect?

My team and I noticed recently that while chatting, the page dont seem to scroll down automatically giving the impression that the person you are chatting to has not responded yet. You have to manually scroll down to reveal the newly arrived messages.Any has this same observation?

code snippets are ridiculously small after migrating from glip to ringcentralI cannot be enraged. Now I have to copy the content into some editor in order to read the contentI need them to be readable as they're in glip. Is there any option for enraging them?

Hello,We highly utilized task sorting (specifically by color) in RC classic in the right pane in team view and I noticed in another topic which was closed a lot of other users asked for this. This funcationality is gone in the new app and its a total mess looking at tasks in team view all randomly listed.Is this feature planned for new RC? Seems pretty basic, if we can tag tasks with colors, we should be able to sort them by color too.Regards

Our company is preparing for the retirement of the old RingCentral app, and one thing we need to know is, which (if not both/neither) of the 2 Outlook integrations will still function with the new app?I currently have the RingCentral Scheduler add-in from Outlook's add-in list.Meanwhile my boss uses the RingCentral Outlook Plugin that you download from Will one or both of these still function? One of my colleagues was told by a rep that they would need to update any recurring meetings scheduled for after August 3rd, but that's all I know at the moment.

It is taking about 3 minutes for your app to open now on my PC. This is happening to other people in my office as well too. Why?,It is now taking about 3 minutes for this app to open every morning on my PC. This is not just on my computer other people in my office are also having this same issue.

I have a meeting scheduled where I originally opted to NOT have a waiting room. I'd like to change that not to having a waiting room.While I followed instructions on how to edit scheduled meetings, when I followed those instructions, I could not see scheduled meetings and opt to edit them. The RingCentral app is continuously looping at startup, just keeps acting like it wants to open, but never does. Anyone else seeing this or know of a fix? We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it's not working. Currently have about 5 users experiencing the issueNo issues on the android or apple apps.

The RingCentral App can be installed with an EXE (user mode) or an MSI (computer mode). Unfortunately, both can be installed. We only want the MSI installed.One of our other vendors uses an MSI for installing, but is capable of doing user and computer mode installations, interactive and unattended. A single installer would make it easier to only allow a single installation of the app in user mode or computer mode.

I'm using Windows 10 and MS Edge or Chrome for my browsers and the App shows updated 6-28-21. If I create tasks on my desktop they don't show in the phone app but tasks created in my phone app do show up in the desktop. We are new to RingCentral but my guess is that it should be syncing bilaterally.

Is anyone aware of a way to limit user access to the desktop app. I have a manager that wants to prevent remote workers from leaving their desk and working from their mobile device. I cannot see a way to make this happen.We are using the Desktop RC Phone app and we still need some people to use the mobile app as needed, this is a group of people that should be working from their computer. I see no way to prevent them from installing the mobile app and signing in and fielding calls from wherever. I know that is generally what we want, but for this department it makes sense to limit their mobility.

When I receive a message on a long conversation I have to scroll down to see the new message. He don't show the most recent message. Same think append when I right new message. I press "enter" and I don't see my message I have to scroll down to see the message I just send.

The new RingCentral app does not have the availability to sort by color or move task manually. During update we also lost some group messsages.you can no longer see all task in each team as well.

Is there a way to create a "glip" task with an email?

We are using Ring Central for proofing by posting a document as a Powerpoint file. Then we add pinpoints with changes. When I am replying to a comment it always jumps me to the end of the message thread. I would like it not to do this. Help!

Compliance and Supervision processes for financial and regulated firms are always through email and they must be in near real-time. The export to JSON feature has little to know value for supervision...

In the latest version of RingCentral App, tasks are no longer sorted by category as in the Classic version. It's therefore very difficult to get a decent overview of existing tasks.Please add category as a column or add an option to sort tasks in "Classic Mode".

My team and I use tasks for our workflow into categories, previously "sections". I use the Browser and the rest of my team use a combination of the App or browser. I woke up this morning to find that I could not filter or sort by categories. In fact, I cannot alter my View to show categories. The only way I can figure how to view Categories is to click into each card. Please advise and this is deeply affecting the Production Team at my company.In lieu of this function, I would need to know how to export all of the tasks that we've loaded so that I can find another app that can accomodate our workflow.

On the latest update, Missed Chat Messages still get emailed to us, but they no longer display a preview of what was contained in the chat message,We relied on this to reply by email to the chatter.We do not want to have to install ringcentral apps on our personal cell phonesThis message preview helped us answer important messages when we were out of office or in meetings.

Hello, After redirecting my browser to the new RingCentral app (and even after downloading the desktop application) I log in successfully but I keep getting a button in the middle of my screen saying "Try to reconnect". Despite the several number of times I have pressed this button, I keep getting it back. I have tried to reinstall the desktop app, clear all of my cookies and browser history, use an incognito browser mode and all these followed by several PC restarts, but still nothing.

Will the new app tasking functionality be enhanced to at least include features that are being used to support business functions? The ability to filter by group & status and sort tasks is very limited in the new app. We rely on sorting by color to organize tasks.

I have been with Glip even before the merge and have asked several times can we set reminders for projects/task. Checking today to see if that feature ever came to life. I am really not happy with the new Glip because they have taken so many features away. Will there be an option to stay with the OLD version?
