SMS

This may be a newbie question but I'm trying to find a way to view just incoming text messages. I'm using the desktop app and have tried the browser as well but no luck. I can see all the messages I send and receive in the sms section but only want to see received messages.

Come March 17th is this true-You can only send 25 SMS per day and anything after that you will be charged $.0085 per SMS?

We have texting disabled for all users currently (we have some Hipaa stuff to get through), there does not seem to be a message sent to someone who tries to text one of our users (phone numbers) that says the RingCentral number does not receive text messages at this time.Is the feature available, am I missing something? a sender does not know if the text ever completed or did not complete.........

Still waiting for a response and fix to the SMS/texting issue. Can someone please provide an update?

We have not had issues sending text messages but our entire team has lost the ability to send outgoing messages as of about 30 min ago. One of the messages from Ring Central states:A valid Phone Number is required to send text message to recipients outside of your company, Please contact your Administrator to add a direct number to your account.Nothing has changed on our account, do you know what needs to be done or are there other companies having this issue too?

I have been using the RC app for a few months and today I no longer have the ability to send SMS to multiple recipients. I have followed the rules regarding allowed number per minute. Has anyone else lost their ability to send texts? I have the MVP plan, which I do not see as an option anymore. ? Very confusing website.

For some reason, we are received email notifications of transcribed text messages that random vendors/people are texting our direct phone number. @mary-community-moderator HI we just started using RC and over the weekend, I was testing my new Ring Central APP with my significant other and sent a message that was 100% sexual in nature and she answered back...etc. It was not an image nor anything illegal and done in good fun, but i showed up to work and within a few hours my SMS is disabled. I realized that I violated a term of use and notified my employer immediately as I assumed that was the reason it was diabled. My question is, "Will my employer see the message?" This could be embarrassing.

This has been going on for over a month and RC support can't seem to resolve what seems like a simple whitelist issue. they keep saying they have escalated the issue. that is if we can get anyone to talk to us at all. Today like many days SMS is not working at all. Case #14006406.

I keep trying to log into the highvolumesms.com site and it tell me I need to disable pop-ups. They are. I've also tried using three different browsers and the site doesn't allow me to log in on any of them. Is this an issue that just arose? I was logged in yesterday.

Hi team, I'm not receiving any codes for telegram messanger activation, some others were able to get a code, but my ring central account is not receiving any. Please help.

I had addressed this in the past. We needed the system to send out automated text messages on user extensions as part of a way to automate an IVR option where the customer can request to have a text message dispatched to them with a customized url link to access certain information of the internet. For a short time we had to use mobile devices attached to those IVR extensions. Those devices were set to drive mode to dispatch the texts. We came across another service that does this and are temporarily using them to automate the texts. Its cheaper than using mobile devices and I dont have to keep those phones active and constantly plugged in. Here is the service we are now using for text backs. Are you guys planning anything like this? With the issues that the new interface has been having and lack of this feature, we may be looking to move. You can review this feature on their website...

More than 10 recipients in a group text on the RingCentral app.And I need it as a group SMS text. For all participants to be able to respond in that group messages

I got an email today informing me that due to "industry changes" my SMS have been categories as A2P and "to continue sending SMS messages, you will need to transition to one of our A2P compliant solutions, such as toll-free SMS or High Volume SMS." This came as a surprise to me as 90% of my business is done via text messages (clients sending images for review, quotes, updates) and the ability to send SMS is key. Is anyone else dealing with this issue now and what options have you considered?

Having issues with my RC sms text messages going thru to ATT customers. All others work fine. I can send photos to ATT customers but not SMS text messages. I get message send failure. Going on for over a week now.

I am on a group text with 21 business colleagues. When I try to reply to the text, I get an error message on the RingCentral app that says "Cannot send message - exceeded maximum number of recipients for a Group MMS." One of the RC support team members said that I could use an addon app to prevent this issue, but he never sent me the info. Any assistance would be appreciate especially since it seems pretty silly that I can't reply to a simple group text through the RC app. Thank you.

Can sms text messages coming to main number be spreaded and send to all extensions number? Is there any settings for that?

I want to point out some design flaws w/ the app in case RC is listening:1. Message icon/feature- uses the standard text icon, yet it's not for texting- texting is found under phone, always confusing because the text icon is front and center, yet it's not for texting2. It took me a while to figure out that I click the Video button even when video is not involved.
