Audio Conference Call New Ring Central Desktop App

Hello,I can't find a way to invite / schedule an audio only conference call from within the new RingCentral Desktop App.I CAN do it on the iOS RingCentral app though.Does this feature exist and if not, when will it exist?Thank you.Michael

Looking to Enable Hotkeys for RingCentral MAX

Hoping to get some advice on enabling hotkeys for the pop-out MAX phone system. I have found the article in the helpdesk that describes what hotkeys can be used... But there is no option in my settings to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why does RingCentral keep logging out application users?

I have uses on the RingCentral application and they keep getting logged out. It is random. How do I fix it. They are also logged in to the RingCentral Salesforce application.

Can't answer incoming calls on iPhone/Android apps

We're having a problem where iPhone and Android apps cannot answer calls. Our three users are part of the same call queue and incoming calls to our main # go to that queue. Our desk phones and desk apps ring and allow us to answer. On the Android app the call appears but I can't press the green answer button, it just vanishes and on the next ring appears and vanishes. One person with an iPhone says the same thing happens to them, another says they don't get a notification that a call is coming in.We called support and L2 support reset our connections and incoming calls worked on our cell phone apps, but the problem has returned.We've tried logging out on our cell phones and logging back in, still no dice. And we can answer these calls on our desk and Windows app phones.Any ideas?

Service not running for QOS test

Hello,I am trying to run the QOS test (https://www.ringcentral.com/support/qos.html) and it just loads a page with a small bar across the screen, but does nothing even after waiting several minutes. It just keeps redownloading the installer, which I have already ran. I have checked and the necessary services are running, but when I go to the page to check it says it can't talk to the service. Tried running on Mac, Linux, and Windows, but all have the same issue. I have checked to make sure the two services are actually running in Task Manager/Activity Monitor and they are there, but it still won't talk. Is there something I am missing?

Webhook Subscription - How to clear one created by another user?

I have ended up with 2 subscriptions sending me webhook events. I don't know how to delete the old one.The scenario:User A ran the OAuth flow. My app is using that user for authentication. The app created a webhook subscription to /telephony/session events for some extensions. Something happened to my refresh token. So User B logs into my app and runs the OAuth flow. So now my app is using an access token for User B. The app checks the subscriptions to make sure they are up to date. The app sees no subscriptions for User B so it creates a new subscription. At the same time the subscription from User A is still sending webhook events. Now my app is receiving duplicate events. How do I delete the subscription for User A?

I have a user in favorites chats which I can't find by id in internal contacts https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Internal-Contacts/listDirectoryEntries and in external contacts https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/External-Contacts/listContactsOnly way I can find information about this user is using https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Profile/readGlipPerson , but there is no phoneNumbers.In ACOapp I can see phoneNumbers of the user.So the question is how can I get phoneNumbers of such users using API?

Logoff Button on Hotdesk phones to change presence

We require a change to the logoff button on the hotdesk phones to change the presence of the agent. Currently, the logoff button only logs off of the phone and doesn't change the overall presence of the agent. This is causing issues with call flows, as the agent is no longer on the phone, but the system still sees them as Available. We are mitigating this by using the DND (Do Not Disturb) button. There should be a way to have these functions combined so an agent using a hotdesk phone only needs to press Logout to logout of the phone and make themselves unavailable to take calls.

How to get recording type audio/x-wav?

Hi!According to this page (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Call-Recordings/listCallRecordingData) API allow to download .wav files. But I can't find any settings or query parameters to specify that I want to receive .wav files, not mp3.I found this old topic, but looks like it solution is deprecated:https://support.ringcentral.com/article/Convert-RingCentral-On-demand-Call-Recording-Waveform-File-Format.htmlCan anyone help with it please?

How can I mark an outgoing fax as safe and not spam?

All of a sudden today we have not been able to send outgoing faxes because RC is marking them as spam. We typically send faxes to the same numbers over and over. We have faxed this particular number at least 2-3 times per week for years. Any idea why it's now being rejected? Can we override the system to mark it as safe to send?

Broadcast a voicemail to all users?

Is there a way to broadcast a voicemail to all of our users? This was a feature on the Av@ya system. We used it for mass notification of weather related office closures, etc. Users could listen to the voicemail or just read the transcribed version in their email.I know a third-party app can do this. I want to know if we can do this without an add-on.Thanks!

Present "Access Request" only one time per user

The "Access Request" screen is a screen where user confirm/"Authorize" that an application can access certain user information. Currently, this screen appears after any time where user provides credentials or even when user continue as already logged-in user. We would like to present this screen only one time. Is there an option to present the "Access Request" screen until user "Authorize" the screen and then no longer present the "Access Request" screen?

FAX TIF ISSUE

Logged into my RingCentral account to view a fax. When I click on the icon to open the fax, it does not open as a .PDF. I get an error message because it is trying to open as as a .TIF. I have spoken with chat multiple times!!! CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. Ring Central originally told me that to fix it that I needed to tell the customer to call send the fax again and this time to select .PDF as the file format that he was sending in. However, I told the rep that you don't actually select a file format when sending a fax. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME FAST AS I NEED ACCESS TO THESE FAXES THAT CAME IN AND MY CUSTOMER CANNOT RESEND.

The destination you dialed is disabled for your account

Hi, recently I submitted a ticket regarding this issue and I don't know if anyone had the same problem? One of our users tried to call a customer in Ghana and after whitelisting and having it previously active in the billing section, we still get a message saying "The destination you dialed is disabled for your account. Please reach out to your admin or customer support." I was wondering if there was a documentation on the RingCentral Support page for references? I checked the RingCentral Engage Voice Admin documentation, it might be a outbound compliance tools?

Incoming SMS event notifications are not working

I created the following subscription:{ "eventFilters": [ "/restapi/v1.0/account/~/a2p-sms/messages?direction=Inbound" ], "deliveryMode": { "transportType": "WebHook", "address": "https://my-address-goes-here.com" }, "expiresIn": 630720000 }And I can confirm that it exists when I call:/restapi/v1.0/subscriptionBut, for some reason, my destination address never gets notified of the incoming SMS message events.I did successfully get a different subscription wired up and working correctly for incoming phone calls:/restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/sessionsbut I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with the incoming SMS events.Any help is greatly appreciated!

Google: Authorization - Error - redirect_uri_mismatch

I am in Authorization Code Flow to get access token. i tried to sign in with Google but it gave me an error: "Authorization Error Error 400: redirect_uri_mismatch You can't sign in to this app because it doesn't comply with Google's OAuth 2.0 policy. If you're the app developer, register the redirect URI in the Google Cloud Console." so How to setup correct redirect URL for Google? or what should i do to solve it?. Thanks

Update Call Handling Rule - softPhonesAlwaysRing Issue

We rarely use the RingCentral admin web interface because we have most tasks scripted in a program we wrote in C#. Today we received the below error when our program tried to update an extension/user, the error happens when our program attempts to update the users call handling rules. The issue is that we previously had softPhonesRingCount to "0", that way both the desk phone and softphone would ring at the same time. After receiving that error we noticed that option on the RingCentral admin web interface has changed from "0" to "Always Ring", so what should we be sending through in our API call to have "Always Ring" set? Blank screen on start up

Have a user with ring central on windows 10 >latest version downloaded from website .Every few days when she launches the app it gets stuck on whilte screeen. Sometimes we launch it from browser and works and otherwise we reinstall it . cleared app cache from dev tools but did not help .Is there any work around or reason for this ? she does not have any dock or monitors connected but still issue persist every few days
