If we are currently up and running with the sms feature, should we anticipate losing the feature for a while after submitting the TCR form?

Hello,We recently transitioned to RingCentral from Mitel. We've basically been dealing with two major issues that I'd like to ask the community about.1. With the Polycom VX 250 and 350 phones, we cannot get the extension to display anyone on the phone. Has anyone seen this or been able to find a solution for this?2. The corporate directory on the phone is pretty bad. Searching the phone directory is very difficult for users because of the way you have to hit so many keys to get the letters you're looking for. Does anyone experience this same thing? If so, what did you do for a solution?Thanks in advance,Joey

We are looking for a way to install the Ring Central App onto our Windows 10 PCs so that the installation is installed for not only the original user profile but for all previously existing and all future user profiles on the Windows PC. Is this possible and if so please let us know how we can accomplish this.

Why does extension-to-extension missed calls affect the total number of missed calls?

I see the Polycom OBI 302 on the RC site listed, but wondering if the OBI 300 is also compatible as I only need one line for fax machine.

HI, I work in IT support for a small CRM, and we are testing out RC with our CRM. The issue we are having is that two users, my boss and I, cannot be logged into RC and making calls at the exact same time. Even with separate logins it will only allow one user to be logged in at a time. Can anyone shed light onto why this could be happening?

Are calls sent directly to a user's voicemail considered a missed call in reports?

We are getting more than one disconnected event for the inbound call. How to know that the call is actually got disconnected.Thanks in advance.

Hi,New to RingCentral. I am trying to create the app in the Getting Started link RingOut Quick Start (ringcentral.com) . Running the 'node ringout.js' gives me the following output in my Windows console window:Call placed. Call status: InProgressHowever I am not receiving any calls. I have tried setting the 'from' and the 'to' to mobile numbers I have access to. But nothing seems to happen, I do not hear any calls going out/in. What am I doing wrong?I have tried in both JavaScript as well as C#. Both have the status as InProgress, but no callsThanks

I'm making a call to the Calls Agregation Data Endpoint in the line of bussiness analytics API, I'm trying to get the total call time for each user with the all calls timer using "sum" aggregation type, but when I go to the RingCentral Analytics and Reporting in the Performance Report, I search all the calls a user made in a day and then request the same data with the aggregation data endpoint, but the value returned by the API is less than the total calls lenght shown in the Performance Report

Hi. I'm trying to follow the SMS Quick Start guide using node.js. I created an app, put in all the credentials in a .env file, and added my mobile phone number as a recipient. But when I run node sms.js nothing happens and I'm not getting any text messages on my phone. Am I doing any part of the process wrong? I followed it step by step

from time to time RC is being logged out in salesforceis there an option to make it logged in always?i tried to take from devtolls network the api call from salesforce when login to ring central , im getting 200, but when refresh the sf page it seems that rc is still logged out

I get emails from ring central that I have new fax messages coming in, but when I go to view them on the ring central app on my computer I can't view any messages after I July of 2022. Why is this happening and how can I fix this? It's very concerning that I can't view and am potentially missing important fax messages.

Hello,I heard there was an update to ring central in Q4 2022 for background noise reduction for desktop? But I can't seem to find any tutorial on how to enable this, only for mobile.

I have created a sandbox app for testing the SMS API, but I get the error that there are no SMS enabled numbers. I see multiple other similar requests and thus it appears posting here is how the issue gets resolved.

We utilize texting by texting other business' who agreed to receive text messages from us via a business contract. We are a transportation company who texts drivers if they fail to provide updates on the loads they are handling. If the business doesnt want to receive text/call, we do not do business with them.

Hi All,Please find the below the sample code that is working fine with sandbox credentials,It means that when I try to call outside to any US number, the call gets connected,However, when I use production credentials to call any US number, I am unable to do so. The operator says, "The number you dialled is temporarily unavailable. Please try contacting the customer service Goodbye," and I got the error, which I attached as a screenshot...even though the number that I'm using has the digital line assigned to it with proper profile setupIt's worth noting that when I use the production credentials to call the numbers which is inside the user's extension list (service account -> users -> Users with Extensions), the call is connected to those numbers.means call can be connected to the numbers which is inside ringcentral organization.var appKey = '...'; var appSecret = '...';

During an implementation a senior trainer pointed me to a 3rd party website for text to speech. I was not the wideo.co that is often used. I believe it had a 6 character domain name beginning with an I - does anyone know what site that is. I need to update a script and don't have the site link.

Hello - I paid in full and signed up with Ring Central on 12 - 24 - 22, this would be our 4th or 5th round in trying to migrate to RingCentral! While I had high hopes since we had an onboarding call the 12 - 26 - 22 to learn we could text message, we have filled out the form for Cloud Talk, RedOxygen and Open phonen all approved in minutes. We were told the form would be approved in 24 - 72 hours, were now 1 1/2 waiting for texting - we can not use the platform otherwise. Who has actually been approve??

I have clients who follow the “invite” link that I email them, but once set up, they cannot gain access again - the following message occurs, “Access to this account is disabled. Please call support”

I have set up an app that calls a web hook on an incoming call and managed to do soon initial testing fine by calling the main number. I have moved the app to the clients account and have it in the sandbox, but when I call the main number (sandbox) I get a voice response "The number you have dialled is temporality unavailable" and that is all I get. The configuration looks to be the same as my developer account, and I am at a bit of a loss at working out what is happening. Any help would be appreciated .
