I am not getting all of my inbound text messages. This has been going on for a few days. I sent myself separate text messages today in this order: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6" ... I only got 1, 4, 6 (out of order) and 5 .. I have had clients commenting that I have not responded to their text messages. I have not received them, nor have I received the notification emails from RingCentral.

I am not receiving texts from a speciific person on group text. I do receive from this person one on one. Does this have something to do with their provider?

Hi,I'm using my ringcentral developer account to work on a ringcentral app, which by default calls using at the main business number. In order to avoid having to wait for the main company number to become available, I needed to know if the main number was growing busy and, if so, if I could obtain another number instead.

We do quite a bit of conference calls where we call a 3rd party while on the phone with a customer. When we are done, it seems we do not have the ability to hang up on the 3rd / last party dialed.Is there something we could be missing?We are using softphones as opposed to desk phone, in the event that changes any options. I have noticed this problem in latest windows 11 client installs on a domain, it installs fine on administrator accounts and the ringcentral app shortcut shows on desktop under the usersadministratorappdata ingcentral path. However, once you login as a standard user the shortcut is no longer there nor is it in the users????appdata ingcentral folder path. Its not a matter of pinning or creating a shortcut to a user or even putting into the publicdesktop folder as some suggested on another forum because it originally installs from the users administrator account, so if you end up creating a shortcut naturally you will get access denied because of the permissions not being set. I have noticed this only on Domain joined machines and non domain machines with windows 11. Ok, RC you might blame windows 11 for this, but im sure your devs can put a new client out there to fix this, it shouldn't be that difficult.The workaround I have found is

The RingCentral app has disappeared from the Start menu in a Windows 10 laptop and another Windows 10 desktop machine, apparently after a recent Windows update. The program was loading to a blank screen. After I updated to the latest version of the app, the program is now working, but it still doesn't show up in the Start menu. Any idea what's going on?

We have a few users who use headsets exclusively and would love to use the headset control function from the app, however when that is turned on, their headset controls work, but their Topaz signature pads do not initialize and clients cannot sign documents. Once they turn off the headset control button in the app and restart the computer it works. Weird interaction/interference between the RC software and the Topaz driver.

Is there a way to archive text messages for compliance?

Is the performance report and analytics call log information based solely on the call made from one particular type if device? We have people who used desk phones and those that call from the app on the computer. Do the reports include all of this?

Phone app used to work injunction with desk phones. Dispatcher unable to leave desk top and use restroom because phone app not working for incoming calls. This feature was working!

I have a zapier "zap" that responds to key words (a function that SHOULD be built into RingCentral, but that's a different topic!)It will work fine for about a month, then it just stops triggering. There are no changes to the zap, the trigger, or the connection, it just stops triggering. The only way I've found to get it working again is to rebuild it. It will work again for a month or so and then again it stops. Anyone else having this issue

Hi allUsing RC app on PC.I've noticed recently (last week or so) that when I click "Make a call" to dial a number, my keyboard numberpad allows me to type in the number to dial but pressing the "enter" key on the numberpad no longer initiates the dialing (it used to start dialling when I pressed enter on the numberpad part of my keyboard).Pressing the "enter" key on the main part of my keyboard does initiate the dial.Anyone experiencing a similar problem?Cheers

How do I export my contacts that are in RC?

We have a group call queue on extension 2. What is supposed to happen is that the call handling means the call first goes to the user at extension 18 and, if they don't answer, go to the user at extension 16; if extension 16 doesn't answer, it should go to voicemail. However, once the client chooses extension 2, the phone never rings for extensions 18 and 16; the call rings for the allotted amount of time on the client side then goes to voicemail. The users at extensions and 18 and 16 get no notifications other than that a voicemail has been left. How do I fix this?

@Phong Vu I've made dozens of call transfers and webhook delete, create, renew calls but the RingCentral Graduation process is not counting them. I've been reading others trying to achieve the same as me, and was just hoping someone could confirm the correct approach. This is a multi-company application, so we're using oAuth to set up the webhook1. Admin user signs into RingCentral through our oAuth call and gets a token (and i set up a method to keep a fresh token)2. We read all extensions and set up a message-store webhook to get SMS for each extension (Do I need to set up separate incoming and outgoing events to capture messages moving in each direction?)This much I can handle (I think), but it's maintaining this that I'm unsure of:3. How do I set up a webhook to alert me of new extensions or removed extensions? Can someone point me to the endpoint docs for this?4. If I did have such a webhook event, I assume I'm able to add a message-store webhook event to capture SMS of the newly-created extension using a token I've kept refreshed since the admin user initially g

I want to know the start time of a call when I receive a "Disconnected" event.The docs say telephony session event provides this information (in "eventTime") https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Account-Telephony-Sessions-EventHowever, when I use real calls, the "eventTime" is just the time when the call disconnected.Is this an issue in code or documentation?
