Can we block numbers to the call queue?

Some of our offices get a lot of telemarketing calls that call over and over again. Can we block numbers to the call queue groups?

Message Store Report Simultaneous Requests

My app subscribes to message notifications and automatically imports faxes to our CRM. These are mission-critical to us, so to make sure we don't miss anything I also periodically request a message store report (say once every ten minutes, looking back 12 minutes). These are going to be very small reports.I'm getting an unexpected response (429) Too Many Requests:{"errors" : [ {"errorCode" : "PIC-020","message" : "Data export is limited to [numberOfRequests] simultaneously executing requests.","numberOfRequests" : "2"} ]}Seems pretty self-explanatory - I already have two reports executing. The thing is, I don't think I do. These reports return pretty quickly because of the narrow time range, so the code is run synchronously. The only thing I can think of is that a report was requested and the code terminated unexpectedly and an orphaned report or two is out there still executing and blocking additional re

RingCentral Desktop App doesn't provide a TCP fallback option like its competitors

It seems that UDP ports is the only way to get SIP traffic in/out of the Desktop App and Web App. Unlike RingCentral's competitors like Webex/Zoom there is no TCP fallback option when UDP is not available. Some organizations block UDP by default and the security teams are unwillling to open these up to the internet.When can we get this on the RingCentral backlog?

Windows 10 Desktop App no longer opens

RC desktop app for Windows has stopped launching correctly as of today. It worked fine a couple days ago, and this PC's Windows 10 was last updated in March. What occurs now when trying to either open or reinstall Ringcentral is four background processes will start, but nothing else. No application is visible or loads, even for a second. I have tried completely uninstalling all traces of the app from the workstation, including the registry entries. Downloading and then attempting to run the installer from the website ends in the same result - a few background processes visible in Task Manager, but no visible application.Running out of ideas since wiping it clean did not produce a different outcome.

phone SIP registration timer

When my network fails over to our secondary provider the phones do not re-register. Is there a way to adjust the timer or have the phone try to re-register in the event of an Internet failover.

Unable to modify call handling as Super Admin

I am a super admin in RC at the company I work at currently. When I try to modify my own Call Handling and Forwarding settings under the My Extension option, not under the Admin Portal, I get an error message that says "You cannot change Super Admin settings" Am I just not able to forward my calls if I am set as a Super Admin?

Auto answer when connected by Bluetooth

This has been asked about in a few questions, but no useful answer has been posted.When connected to my car via Bluetooth, my phone automatically answers calls. How do I stop this happening?The one instance of this being asked blamed the phone/headset, but as it is happening on various phones and Bluetooth devices it would seem to be a feature of the app.

Call Queue After Company Hours

Our company hours are 9 - 5. We have three call queues, two of them are also set to 9 - 5. We have one queue we would like to have set to 8 - 5. Only 1 person would be answering calls at this time. We have her hours set to 8 - 3, all other members of the queue have their individual hours set to 9 - 5. Can our 8 AM start person receive calls from the queue if the company hours are set at 9 - 5?

API GetList Subscription not showing all subscriptions

Hi, I have in another account 4 subscriptions created and when I make a call to the GetListSubscriptions API endpoint I only get two. We know that the other two subscriptions are still working because we can get reports from today and on the events we get the subscriptions id that cant see on the list. Do you know why this could happend? If I use the GetSubscription with the id it neither finds it.Thanks

mac app slow to report answer machine messages,mac app

Answer machine messages appear quickly in our email but the mac app can take hours meaning confusion in the office WHY?,Hi our office finds the app very slow to report answer machine messages yet they appear in our email box almost instantly. It makes the app a pain to use

Meetings IDs are different

When I use the Ring Central App to schedule a future meeting, it generates a Google calendar entry with a Meeting ID: xxxxxxx, and it DOESN't send out an invitation to my listed participants and when I look at my "Your Personal Meeting ID (PMI)" it shows another number YYYYYYYY altogether.

We use the API to integrate RC features into our web-based SASS custom enterprise application. One use is for SMS: At the profile of any employee, customer, or vendor, we can send an SMS to the contact with a button click. Replies from the contact arrive quickly in the profile on a Messages tab, and we can view an extended conversation.We see the same conversation in the RC app on our mobile phones. However, if a user replies to the conversation from the phone, that message (which is part of the same conversation) does not appear in our enterprise app, even though any reply from the recipient does appear.For example, suppose a user in our office initiates an SMS conversation with a remote employee as follows:"Hello." Sent by our office user from our application. This appears as expected in the application's Message tab."Hi.What's up?" Reply from the remote employee appears as expected in Messages tab."Can you call the office about your schedule?" s

I've set up the RingCentral app to call my phone, and it only seems to be calling the office phone. I put in the Call Forwarding settings for it to call my phone and the office phone number simultaneously, but it only calls the office phone.

Blocking a call

Hi. First post for me for this community. It seems RC does not provide a method to block incoming calls at the top level. By that I mean as an admin I cannot block a number from calling. I see where I can block calls from hitting Queues and how users can block calls from getting to their extension. But wanted to make sure I am not missing an option that would allow us to block a number from calling all extensions or queues without need to do at the user/extension or queue level.
