I am unable to attach a file in the free version on ringcentral. Why is that? Is there a file size limit? I have looked inthis community and gone under the Administration tab but file sharing isn't a setting I can adjust. Please help!

I started out trying to get my mobile android app to work on my pixel 6 pro, but it keeps failing to login. I then tried to open a support ticket for help with that, but it says I need to login. When I try to login I get Failed Login - 401 every time (see picture). I tried chat and that didn't have anything remotely close to what's happening here. I reset my password and that didn't help. I cleared all my cookies and cache because that was something I found in the community here and that didn't work. I can login to the admin portal in chrome on windows 10 with my credentials, so I know they are correct, they just won't work in the RingCentral support area. Can anyone here give me any other ideas how to proceed with getting support from RingCentral? Thanks in advance.

We are a mid-size company. We currently have 1 Operator that manages their own extension, as well as a Operator extension, both using MVP accounts. We are about to add a 2nd Operator, so having an Operator MVP account is no longer the way to go.We also have a few hundred Toll-Free, Addtl Local Numbers, and Extensions that all forward to that Operator MVP account.What is the best way to have 2 employees share Operator/Reception duties both simultaneously, as well as on schedules? We looked into Call Queues and I recently saw a Bridge Operator Console.

I am trying to setup the Direct Routing Cloud PBX for teams integration. My account manager and Tier 2 support have both confirmed I have the right licensing. When I try and log into the PBX admin portal, Admin Portal (ringcentral.com), it says:Unknown AccountWe can't find any accounts for user mps1@mpslegalservicesgroup.com. If you have not yet received an invite to the service please contact your administrator.It says this no matter which account I am trying to log in with, including the Super Admin. I am not sure how I am supposed to invite myself to the PBX portal, there is no way to do so in the Admin console for Ringcentral. Support seems to have no idea what the problem is. Anyone have this problem?

Hello.We recently changed our AA from single level to multi level. Everything is working except for our after hours side door buzzer system. Typically someone would press the button to be let in, all the phones in a ring group would ring, someone would pick up the phone and press # and it will unlock the door.After switching to the multi level IVR pressing the # button no longer unlocks the door. The phones do ring. Right now on the IVR we have a custom rule when you press the door buzzer it rings a specific number. If that number is called it sends the call to the correct ring group. This is exactly the same as it was for the single level AAI have checked the call logs and I can see the door buzzer number is in the from field. Our main number is in the To field. I can also see which extension in the group answered the call.My only initial thought (I am still new to RingCentral) is switching to multi level AA that the # button is set to repeat the menu gr

Our company has been experiencing an influx of phantom call in the last two weeks. We seem to be getting at least 5 a day if not more. The calls come through as normal, there is no indication that they might be Robo Calls. When we answer there is nothing on the other line. No noise or anything at all. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is there something that can be done to reduce this?

we are trying to add the ability for all users in our email domain to be able to utilize the email to fax feature. we can only add individual emails under each number, we have over 900 users with emails. that is not going to work. i need to find out how to enable this on the acct. i see where we can add up to 25 users per number, that just will not work. also there is a external communications area and we added our domain to it

I had a free ring central video account. However, I purchased a standard service and created a new account but used the same email address, so when I try to login to the new account, I get an error that says "Credentials Already in Use".

FYI - The RingCentral Desktop Phone App (which is not the same thing as the RingCentral App), is not yet compatible with MacOS 13 (Ventura). It will quit upon application start with an audio IO error. This has been tested on both Intel and Apple silicon, and both tested with clean builds on Beta 4. Hopefully they will have a new version out by the time of Ventura's release in the fall. The RingCentral App works fine.

Why do we now have to dial the area code on local calls? We have always been able to dial local calls without the area code, but in the last month that has changed and now we have to dial the area code with the local number?????

Hi. I had an older laptop that had RingCentral on it and the number of unread messages would appear on the app icon on my menu bar. I now have a new laptop with the latest version of RingCentral and now I can't get the number to appear. I really dislike the bouncing of the icon for notification so the number count was great. Is this something that has been discontinued on the latest version of the app? Thanks!

After call wrap up time is great, but not always necessary. Users need to be able to bypass the wrap up time and return to queue at will.

We're seeing cases each day (some days more than others), where our agents dial a number, it says connecting, but never does. They call the same number seconds later and it goes through.Support is not indicating they've seen this with any other deployment. Anyone have any insight: It happens both in the office and for agents remote/home. no other issues once connected, or with inbound calls.

Hello--upon attempting to use the RingCentral scheduler add-in via Outlook, I am hit with the following error message: "Sorry, something went wrong on our end. Try again." and am unable to add a Ring video link to an Outlook calendar event. Note that I am a free user of the RingCentral application. Any suggestions on how to rectify? Is this because I am not an Admin? Appreciate any help!

Hello, I am looking at reporting on call numbers for a particular skill.There are 857 incoming calls (minus 29 pre-queue abandons, 85 abandons, and 106 refused, totaling 637).The inbound handled figure is 762. I am unsure why my calculation of incoming calls would be less than inbound handled figure. Thank you in advance.

I'd like the ability for inbound callers to select what language they'd like. Keeping in mind that for every language we have, the Emergency and General Greeting will need to be replicated, how many languages can I add?

I have set up a "free trial" account which we were immediately billed $657 for (thanks for that by the way). My question is, since we obviously didn't want the generic phone number they gave us and will need to port our current business phone number to this service, how do we change that number to be our primary business phone number and get rid of the one that was assigned to our account?
