We just set up a client with Yealink T48S model phones and when attempting to send a call direct to voicemail by pressing Transfer > *0+ext but we hear "I'm sorry. You have dialed an incorrect extension". I contacted RC support and was told this function was not available on the Yealink model phones which was also confirmed by Tier 2 and Tier 3 support. The reason given was: "The DTMF Touchtone is only working for Cisco and Polycom Phones"Will this function ever be available to work on Yealink phones? Is there nothing that can be done to make it work? I can't imagine DTMF signaling is any different on a Yealink IP phone than any other IP phone. Please advise. Wanted to remove the Silent message since not all of the customer are leaving voicemail their just staying on the line. For Example, Lisa called me on my phone number, she didnt really leave me a voicemail she just stayed on the line for 5 secs and hungs up, upon receiving my email notification, when i play the recording its just a silence on the line for the voicemail and theres really nothing in there. So if possible can we remove the Silence on the line and just play the message if there was really a message on the voicemail.

How can I find out and rectify?

In other words, what is the maximum number of messages that can be sent out in a limit before they get rejected by RingCentral?

We have automations that push messages to rooms/channels on our RingCentral server. Many of these messages contain links to logs on our build system and the like. Previously, these links were displayed as clickable hyperlinks. Something changed, though, within the last few months. I'm definitely new to RingCentral development, but I am looking to write a simple modal notification app (for windows desktop) that shows my front desk the number of voicemail (new & old) and allows her to quickly manage them without having to dial into RingCentral or log into their admin screen.My questions is if anyone has any suggestion/structure/setup to this app. Should I be using WebHooks? Subscriptions? Events? etc.I have read through the API, but I am no professional developer, At this point in my career, I'm more of a hack developer that will throw code until it works without understanding the "correct" way to do it...because I only ever write for myself, not for $.Any help is very much appreciated.

My team and I noticed recently that while chatting, the page dont seem to scroll down automatically giving the impression that the person you are chatting to has not responded yet. You have to manually scroll down to reveal the newly arrived messages.Any has this same observation?

I am using getCompanyRecord API for getting the records but it shows the empty record, with 200 successful fetch.Even with the Extension level get records, same problem is there.

I want to remove the "More" menu item from specific users either by Role or Template...can't find anywhere to do that. I need to setup a modified role standard user vs. a message only user to capture fax and vm's. This user will make no calls, and is setup as a modified standard user since I can't control all the proper permissions or apply a template for a message-only user.I basically want this user completely locked up to only allow the persons who login to this user to be able to download message or faxes via the call log.

Ring Central "Classic" would show the icon from a status next to the user name in the left hand column of the app. Hovering over the icon would show the status text (including custom status text). This is not implemented in the new Ring Central App.As we are all working remotely we find this was a good feature. I can tell if someone is simply "out of office", or even "Running" or "Having Lunch".This is NOT the same as DND, it conveys much more information and DND affects other behaviours too.Please re-implement this missing feature in the new Ring Central App

We want the ability to create an Out of Office Activity Code that can be applied in WFM by the schedule creators but that can't be viewed or selected by an agent in MY ZONE. Ideally, this would be a setting on every Activity Code that could be turned on/off by the schedule creators.

When using the RC App to create an outbound fax on the template/form, there's no place to enter the recipient's name without having to create a new contact or writing the name in the note field. Could the To field be modified or a field added to accommodate the recipient's name and not just their fax number for proper routing on the receiving end? Not everyone has a direct deposit of faxes received. Thanks.

Was the ability to see the call map feature taken out of the QOS section in analytics?

Hello,We highly utilized task sorting (specifically by color) in RC classic in the right pane in team view and I noticed in another topic which was closed a lot of other users asked for this. This funcationality is gone in the new app and its a total mess looking at tasks in team view all randomly listed.Is this feature planned for new RC? Seems pretty basic, if we can tag tasks with colors, we should be able to sort them by color too.Regards

We have a call queue setup. Calls come into our main number and ring first at the front desk. If she doesn't answer, they are routed sequentially to the other numbers.Recently something changed. Our front desk always had call waiting enabled. If she was on a call, she would see a new call coming in, and she could answer it. Now she does not see the new call coming it, it just routes directly to the next number in the queue.So basically, we had call waiting in a call queue, but it has been turned off somehow.How do we turn it back on?

We run a call center where inbound calls are taken by our front line customer service agents and then transferred to specific teams to help assist our customers. The calls are put in a queue rather than sent to a specific agent. This is causing difficulties accessing the call recording of the second half of the call once transferred. The main reason we review the calls recording is for compliance, and our call monitoring department is unable to piece together all of these severed calls. Could you please make it so that internal transferred calls are bound together, so half the recording isn't missing?? I know the recordings are somewhere in the system, so I don't understand why they can't be linked. The current model you have now is not user friendly for call monitoring and transfers. I see this has been brought up by your users in the past, but I don't see much follow through on RC's end. Could you please clarify if I'm mistaken and if there are any plans to ad

I have been using the same number for 2 years and 2 months ago it became long distance and registered to another city 3 hours away even though in Ring Central portal it still says local city. Ring Central has not acknowledged this as an issue. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Has anyone been able to successfully deploy the Ring Central Dekstop app with a powershell script or win32 app via Microsoft Intune?

Microsoft Teams, Google Voice, Phone, Audible, Disney+ and all of my other audio apps can interface with my car's built-in UConnect audio system, but not RingCentral.It would be really neat if RingCentral added this support so I don't have to take RingCentral calls on speaker, but support says this doesn't exist yet and to create a thread on the forum.

Using the RingCentral app (which sucks compared to the RC Phone app), doesn't even show limited extensions. What the hell? How are we supposed to call these people?
