How can I add a contact number to my company list for everyone in the organization to see?Currently the only numbers in the company contacts are internal employees with numbers.We need to add numbers that are external to our own.

Hi community,We recently rolled out WFM for our contact center. We come from a manual schedule process, so this is an upgrade from that, however I am still new at understanding the reporting. I’ve tried to read through the help site, open tickets, but I am still not fully understanding all the information WFM provides. If there are any Contact Center Managers that can offer some assistance that would be great. Thank you in advance. 

Please create a feature in the admin portal to block specific numbers from calling all company and user phone numbers, along with SMS/Fax. Currently having to do so user by user is extremely time consuming and put our company at risk when scammers are calling all of our employees hoping one will fall for the scam. These protocols need quickly added and operational.

We are testing the RingCentral embedded app in Microsoft Teams out before making it a company standard. We know many of our employees will have several Ring Central’s open at the same time to work off of.In Teams, we can open Ring Central it’s self out of the Teams app into it’s own window just one time. Will it be possible that can be increased to a few times, to where an employee can pop out Ring Central out of Teams so they can have one being calls, one being the Hud, one being Call history or whatever, so they can have them all available and not have to click back and forth so much or have to click out of Ring Central in Teams to their chat or one drive, and then come back and lose where they were.

I would like to limit callers allowed in queue to less than 5 callers which is the lowest option in the drop down menu. I have 4 phones/users set to ring simultaneously for our restaurant but only want 2 of my staff at most to be tied up on the phones at the same time.

I work at an accounting office and recently my outgoing calls to clients are showing up as spam, so they don’t answer. We are a legitimate business, and our clients want to answer our calls. How can I change this?I saw a similar inquiry on another thread, but the article linked in the response was unavailable.

I tried naming the field verificationtoken, I tried removing it all together. They’ve had no effect. The documentation doesn’t provide much detail so I’m shooting in the dark.  My goal is to get Fax status updates.

While using the RingCentral app on an iPad, a separate popup will appear if I try to perform a conference call. This is particularly annoying because the popup does NOT include the button to merge the calls together. The popup also does not allow me to move/drag & drop the popup window out of the way to access the ringcentral app running in the background, which does have the button to merge the calls. It is essentially a virtual barrier blocking the buttons.  This is also troubling because I can no longer multi-task and access the ring central app to consult a text message. This unnecessary popup just takes up half the screen and cannot be moved out of the way. It is extremely harmful for productivity and operations as I cannot perform basic functions due to that pop-up window. 

We have Teams Presence sync enabled.  It’s been noted that some calls will still come through when DND is enabled on the phone. While MS Teams will sync the status of the phone and show “Do not disturb” in Teams, the phone status will change to “Available” when Teams is inactive and its status changes to “Away.”  This happens repeatedly during webinars when you may be viewing a lengthy presentation.  Basically, every 5 minutes, Teams status changes to “Away” and DND on the phone changes to available until you move your cursor, begin typing, etc. on your computer.  Is this expected behavior for Teams to be able to turn off DND on the RingCentral phone and become available when Teams is in a state of “Away?”

We already have a RingCentral EX integration, and we use the call log API to actually fetch the details of the calls that agents/users dial.  We are trying to build an integration with the RingCentral CX platform since our customer has migrated from EX to CX. I am interested to know what is the particular API through which I can fetch the call recordings done by agents I tried using the API mentioned in the documentation - https://developers.ringcentral.com/engage/voice/guide/analytics/reports/global-call-type-detail-report. However, using this particular body when invoking the API was giving me an unknown exception.  I tried other APIs as well like the following: 

I'm Using Ring Central Number for the Past 7 years. In these recent days I have observed that when ever I call a person they are not taking my calls and have informed me that my number reflecting as Spam Caller or Likely Sales. How should I resolve this issue.

Hi,I’ve been usingt he AI Notes function in RingCentral fo a little while now, but I have found that it has been inconsistent for the recording of specifc words/phrases in the Transcript, as well as in the Notes, As an example, the company I work for is MailGuard, but most of the time, in both the Transcript and Notes, it is more likley to write it as “Mailgard”.I correct this in the Notes, and then save it. But this is happening over and over again.It is also showing “MMailgard” as incorrect, with a red squiggly line under the word when I open the Note in edit mode.Is there any way to teach the AI specific Spelling of words/phrases?

We have discovered a peculiar problem that has begun occuring after upgrading our VDI environment to Horizon 2512. We have previously been using Horizon Clients 2503, and 2506 without any incident. However, since the upgrade to 2512 and when using RTAV for our audio devices (NOT THE RINGCENTRAL PROVIDED VDI PLUGINS), both RingEX and RingCX crash the VDI connection when calls are established, or the agent changes their status in CX. We have no problems with any other audio applications. And we also don’t have any issues for users using Windows or MacOS clients.To be clear, this issue definitely sounds like a problem with Omnissa’s Horizon Client 2512 for Linux. However, I can’t ignore the fact that this behavior only occurs when we are using RingCentral apps.I am looking to see if there are any other Horizon 2512 customers who are using the Linux client with their Ring Central environment?

Over the last week, people calling me can now leave 10 or 15 minute long voice messages if they want. For years, there was a 3 minute time limit and the message would get cut-off, which I prefer. How do I go back to only allowing a 3 minute max voice message?

Hi Group,We have a site with 2 cisco ATAs hooked to fax machines.  Both are connected identically to a network switch with no port security, ACLs, etc. One ATA is working fine but the other is giving this error:Due to technical reasons, your emergency response location couldn't be propagated successfully to the Emergency Service Provider.
