I always receive the following error when logging into the admin portal or the application. Since this is a developer account, aren't I the admin? Should I be setting something somewhere? I can't see where."Sorry, you currently don't have permission to access this service. Contact your administrator to change permissions."I can log into my developer console, build application, etc. I just can't log into the user part of the account. I need to do that in order to set my fax default values.

Hi,I currently have 2 separate Salesforce users (SF1 and SF2) and 2 separate Ring Central users (RC1 and RC2). Both are under the same org.My Goal: Each Salesforce user is able to log in with their own unique Ring Central account (they have their own phone number for sales)The Problem: When I log into SF1 and also log in with RC1 in Salesforce, it works great. But, if I log into SF2 with RC2 username, it also logs SF1 in with RC2. It is only letting me have one Ring Central log in across all my salesforce users. We pay for 2 Salesforce and 2 Ring Central users. Please help!

On the latest update, Missed Chat Messages still get emailed to us, but they no longer display a preview of what was contained in the chat message,We relied on this to reply by email to the chatter.We do not want to have to install ringcentral apps on our personal cell phonesThis message preview helped us answer important messages when we were out of office or in meetings.

I am trying to attach an image to an SMS created by my app. When I view the resulting message once I receive it on my phone or tablet, I see the attachment, but if I click on it I just see the word "Photo", followed by JPEG Image or PNG Image (depending on what I tried to send) and the image size. I can't actually see the image. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Hi,I create 2 new accounts on dev test service. None of them received the invitation emails to activate the accounts. Nothing in spam filters, nothing in email logs. Tried the "resend invite" button many times, popup says "A new welcome email has been sent" but no email is ever received.

I have four receptionists that answer our main line.  I need them to be able to see the presence of the other receptionist's extensions and be able to forward to an answering service if the call is missed.  What is a good solution to make this happen?

I've got a webhook subscription that is listening for account presence events. When I shut down RingCentral, I had expected to receive an event with presenceStatus or userStatus set to offline. However, this is not the case. I've also tried calling Get User Presence Status but this returns an available status. Calling Get Unified Presence does return offline but I would prefer to use webhooks. When I shut down the app my presence in RingCentral is displayed as offline so why doesn't the webhook report this?

We're US users of RingCentral.We're a small team and don't currently have a receptionist/secretary to handle calls. For the past few months, we have given each user their own username/password combination to sign into a dedicated extension on the RingCentral platform. We also supplement this with a shared login (via the now-defunct RC Phone App) to access voicemails and messages that come directly to the main company number so that nothing falls through the cracks if one team member happens to be busy.My question is this - since the RC Phone App has been discontinued, we're no longer able to sign in to the shared call group extension to receive/respond to voicemails and incoming text messages that go to the main company number.What's the solution to this? I'm sure this is a fairly common use case where a number of team members need to be able to monitor text messages and voicemails to a shared company number.I'm at a loss, but desperately

Hello, After redirecting my browser to the new RingCentral app (and even after downloading the desktop application) I log in successfully but I keep getting a button in the middle of my screen saying "Try to reconnect". Despite the several number of times I have pressed this button, I keep getting it back. I have tried to reinstall the desktop app, clear all of my cookies and browser history, use an incognito browser mode and all these followed by several PC restarts, but still nothing.

So, I have a react application with a Node.js backend. Currently, my application allows franchise store owners (that have a role of Store Manager) the ability to login and has options for them to change their Call Queue Audio While Connecting and Hold Music. Obviously, as a role of Store Manager they are unable to do that which is why on my Node.js API I want to sign in as a super user account to process that call.I've already attempted todo the following to process this call on the backend but my application doesn't allow the Password flow. Creating a webhook for extension session notifications: /restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/telephony/sessions with the login context of the announcement-only extension does not send any events when connecting to the announcement-only extension.However, using same code, swapping the announcement-only extension with a message-only extension works okay. Is there a reason why announcement-only extensions do not send webhook events for telephony sessions?

We need assistance with integration so that our systems all work with RC to highest degree available. We'd like them to work together seamlessly.,We are growing fairly fast and could use some help with integrations with other software, understanding how we could use IVRs with our remote workers, etc.

Will the new app tasking functionality be enhanced to at least include features that are being used to support business functions? The ability to filter by group & status and sort tasks is very limited in the new app. We rely on sorting by color to organize tasks.

We need a 3rd party developer to create a way for User A to send a text message as User B so that when the receiver of the text message responds via text or via a voice call, they will be replying/calling to User B. Ideally, this is built into a module in SF, but it could be a separate app.

I have been with Glip even before the merge and have asked several times can we set reminders for projects/task. Checking today to see if that feature ever came to life. I am really not happy with the new Glip because they have taken so many features away. Will there be an option to stay with the OLD version?

,Had to load this app at my contractor's request. Works fine when I'm off Bluetooth in my vehicle, however, when my truck picks up my Samsung S-10 it works until the app receives a call. Rings once, then disconnects. If I disable Bluetooth in my vehicle, it actually rings and then I'm able to connect back to my truck by re-enabling Bluetooth on the phone. I'm a tech support specialist and rely on this app to accept calls. Is there a fix to this other than disabling Bluetooth every time I step into my truck? Again, rings once, disconnects. I loose money every time that happens.

Is it possible to add something to the Fax itself that will be returned in the body or subject of the email confirmation? I need to put a unique identifier in it so that when I get the email confirmation I can match it up to the Fax record in our DB.
