We have added a time off planning rule for annual leave but this currently is worked out as days/year. Is there anyway to amend the system so that annual leave can be calculated in hours/year for our part time staff?

I can login support portal, but when I am trying accessing 'My Case Portal', it asks me to login again. But I always get error when login with same account for support portal. We send faxes via email. That stopped working on Apr 22, 2021.RingCentral had informed us about Email-to-Fax Security Enhancement that they were going to perform on Apr 21, 2021. No downtime was expected. After the update, faxes sent with DKIM signatures that do not match with the domain's public DNS records will fail. If you do not use DKIM signatures with your emails, you will not see any change with your email-to-fax transactions.We don't use DKIM. For us, no action was necessary. Is it possible to add a new user without needing to enter all of the details that would be required for a "human" user i.e. I would like to add some extensions that will only be used within the building and do not need an external line such as "kitchen" "store room". They will not be assigned to any one individual and therefore no associated email address.

Is there a way to manage voicemails for example- delete after 14 days? Our voice mailbox is filling quite quickly and then new callers cannot leave a message.If not possible to auto delete, is there a way to set a prompt to warn when getting close to the maximum?

Hello,I have 2 locations and am wondering if the following is possible:i have a coordinator working mainly out of office 1, he receives calls from office 1 and office 2. What i need to happen is if a customer from office 2 calls while he is in office 1 and he needs to call said customer back, can he use his deskphone to call out as if calling out of office 2 so that callerID is local and the same number the customer called.If this feature does not exist can it be added.,I need to know if the following is possible:I have 2 offices, my coordinator mainly works out of office 1, my question is if someone calls office 2 and my coordinator needs to call them back, is there anyway to call the customer back as if he is calling out of office 2 so that caller ID shows local to the customer and appears as the number they called? I'm really new to RC, sorry for the noob question.My RC setup has both 3 digit and 4 digit extensions.All my users currently just use the RC app. So "dialing" an extension is literally just choosing the person's account they are trying to contact. I haven't used a physical desk phone on RingCentral. Let's say one user has extension 400 and another has extension 4000. If a person is trying to dial ext 4000 how does the phone/RC know they aren't trying 400? Do they need to dial # or something after?Thank you!

I am a super admin in RC at the company I work at currently. When I try to modify my own Call Handling and Forwarding settings under the My Extension option, not under the Admin Portal, I get an error message that says "You cannot change Super Admin settings" Am I just not able to forward my calls if I am set as a Super Admin?

I would like to have a Flex office and have a phone (Polycom) in the office where users can login and access their phone profile. How can I do that? And if I drop power to the phone will that log the user out?

Hello, we signed up for High Volume SMS using a RingCentral number. Used the web app to send a bulk message to several thousand recipients. Now I'm trying to download a report on the campaign using the button in the web app but it just spins indefinitely with no report generated. Is there a way for me to extract data on messages successfully delivered or failed? I also am looking to report on any numbers that elected to opt out of future texts.

I'm currently trying to create top-level IVR Menus and bind them to specific Sites via a REST API call to https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/accountId/ivr-menusOne issue I'm facing is trying to derive the proper internal ID for the Site, which is to be specified as a parameter to the creation call. I've scoured the API reference documents, but can't seem to locate a proper GET call which can return a collection of sites and their respective IDs. The closest I've found is the restapi/v1.0/account/accountId/extension endpoint, and specify the extension number for the site. Ironically this doesn't return the Site ID, but if I specify the extension of an existing top-level IVR menu that is already bound to a Site, this /extension endpoint will return a site object with all the site details.

My desktop voip ringcentral app (version 9.1.6.27106) doesn't work well with my Plantronics Voyager Focus UC. The headset works perfectly with the RingCentral for meetings, just not with the desktop app for the phone. I have tried with both the dongle and direct bluetooth connection to my Dell XPS laptop running Win 10 (latest version). The connection with direct bluetooth connection is all staticy or breaks up and my customers complain about it.  With the dongle, it is excellent, but the app crashes all the time, and does some crazy stuff.  The headset works perfectly with my cell phone and through the meetings app, but not with the voip phone app.  RingCentral can't seem to fix this issue and it is bad enough that I am considering changing systems (not headsets). Does anyone have a similar situation and perhaps a fix?

New mobile app uses nearly 1/2 Gigabyte of data storage on iphone. 3x bigger than the next largest app on phone. This is way too much and is causing problems with ability to update phone or other apps. No ability to reduce what is stored, no idea what causes such massive data use, and very time consuming to try to delete call history, voicemails, messages, etc. This is way way way way way too big. Old phone app did not use even 1/2 of this much data.,OMG - the new RingCentral app (mobile) is a data storage hog. I have no idea why and no ability to reduce storage space used. Nearly 1/2 GIGABYTE just to put stupid app on phone. No way to limit services needed by phone, empty cache, limit number of days of messages/voicemail, and very time consuming to delete calls, voicemail and messages manually. TERRIBLE APP with no thought for cost to phone user to eat up so much data for one app. Old phone app did

I thought I could set up each direct dial number in a queue with only one member and have it overflow if they were on a call already but it doesn't allow me to add their direct number (even after removing from the user extension) in the queue direct number.

Does anyone else have the same problem where the RingCentral desktop app will sign you out and not store any of your settings? Every couple of months, the app will force me to sign in and it does not maintain any of my settings and themes. The best work around I found was to uninstall the application and re-install it, which is rather annoying.... After doing this, the application then is able to store my settings, so I don't have to re-apply them every morning when I sign in.Yes I have checked for any potential updates and so on, every time I have the most up to date version.

So this is odd. Why do the mobile and desktop apps ignore the Ring For setting when it's set for less than 3 rings? If I set it for 1/5 they still ring for 3/15. The Always ring 30 setting doesn't seem to make much difference here. Worse, if the user has a physical phone then there's a 20-ish second delay in the physical phone ringing UNLESS I set the Desktop & Mobile to 0/0.

When I schedule a meeting and change the title of the meeting, the default title is populated in the list of meetings on the meetings page of the app, not what I changed the title to be in the scheduling screen.Also, after I join a scheduled meeting, when I go back to the Meetings screen in the unified app, the meeting is now listed twice - same time, title and meeting ID #,You CANNOT retire the RingCentral Meetings app until this feature is available. It is critical for our work product to be able to remotely control our agency computers.

Hi,So I wanted to find out if anyone knows the email address associated with Business SMS. I have done some searches, and it seems like this feature is not supported at the moment. For example, AT&T uses PHONENUMBER@txt.att.net. Perhaps it is PHONENUMBER@txt.ringcentral.com or PHONENUMBER@sms.ringcentral.com... I have no way of testing it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Is anyone using Smokeball case management with RingCentral? I can't figure out how to use my desk phone when dialing out through Smokeball. Once the person I am calling picks up I can flip the call to my desk phone but I would rather just start there so there isn't a short delay.
