Good morning all, I hope this is a simple question already covered, but i cant find the answer.We currently use the RC Phone app for making calls in our call centre. our advisors have to copy the phone number and paste this into RC phone app. to make calls.On our own CRM application (webforms aspx), outbound calling, I want to send the phone number to the RC phone app with a click of the button for quick dialling.is that possible?Reading the API developer docs, it’s all about making your own RC app, which I don’t want to do.TiaDave

Hiya,I was looking for shortcuts on how to end calls without having to click and found this guide -https://support.ringcentral.co.uk/s/article/784?language=en_GB#How%20to%20customize%20keyboard%20shortcuts%20for%20the%20RingCentral%20Desktop%20appBut none of the shortcuts work. When I click the gear icon too there is no option to rebind keys relating to the phone system, only the messaging and chat functions.Is there a way to do this or was it removed from the app?Thanks!

Hello. I am a tech and I'm working with a user who will sometimes get a "Your call is parked at location *801" message when ending a call. There's not an option to disconnect, and the only thing the user can do is close out RingCentral Phone and reopen. Then it is gone. I've purged the data and deauthorized the machine. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the latest RingCentral Phone v21 on the Windows 10 Pro machine. Out of a few hundred users, this is the only user that this is happening to.Has anyone come across this issue?Thanks!

I am using the API to load call logs into our on premise database server. I am finding that calls where a receptionist makes a warm transfer to another employee creates a situation where the employee's call log shows the call as being from the receptionist, and NOT from the original caller.This is causing a problem for our compliance department and it also defeats the purpose of having any analytics. How can I match a call represented by a warm transfer to the original caller, and not the receptionist that transferred it?Edit to add: I am wondering if the TelephonySessionId field in a call log record would be a way to create this link. I know it's at least nominally possible, because the RingCentral's analytics page makes the associations correctly.

I am looking for an app to integrate our call log with RingCentral and information that we want to track. Does such app exist?For example, I would like receptionists to be able to mark a call completed, and the outcome-scheduled, called for pricing, declined due to cost, etc. I would also be able to list client name and detailed reason for call.Does this exist? Right now we use excel, but it is not user friendly.Thanks!

I used to be able to run API calls against sandbox and use the API pages "try it out" but it no longer works. This is the error I get after I log in and hit "try it out"Sorry, available sandbox account is required. Please contact Customer Support if needed.How do I fix this? Also, how do I get back to the sandbox admin portal to look at sandbox accounts like you do in production?

I need to be able to schedule conference calls from the desktop app. This was a function on the previous version, but does not appear on the new app except for in the teams environment which is useless for calls scheduled for outside participants. Please add the audio conference call scheduling ASAP. It should never have been removed.

Has anyone been able to use VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to send and receive SMS? I've tried the code posted in a response in this forum, but can't get past getting an access token. No matter what I try, I get the error "Client authentication is required", error code OAU-123. I would be glad to pay for some consulting time with anyone who can help me.

Hello, Our organization recently adopted both Outlook 365 and RingCentral. I am using the RingCentral Outlook Add-in. In Outlook, we have physical rooms set up as resources so they can be reserved in an Outlook event. Sometimes we have both in-person and virtual attendees for meetings so need to reserve both a physical space and create a RingCentral meeting. I am finding that when I add a Ring Central meeting using the RingCentral add-in AND invite one of our physical meeting rooms to an event, the Ring Central add-in overrides the room reservation so the room calendar does not show that it is reserved. Anyone else have this issue and know how change settings so that adding a RingCentral meeting does not delete the physical room reservation? Thanks in advance!

This morning RingCentral Meetings API are not function well. That results in users unable to schedule meetings AND change their PMI. Hello,Our organization has one sandbox account (+12094974301) but we cannot receive or send faxes using this account.Since I need to create an application that sends and receives faxes I could not use this sandbox account, so we added an additional number (+14242915868) in the service portal that can send and receive faxes.The problem is we cannot create Apps using the new number because our sandbox account is associated with the old number and there seems to be no way to create an additional sandbox account for the new number.How can we either configure our existing sandbox number to send and receive faxes or associate our new number with our existing sandbox account?Thank you.

I've recently purchased a new PC with Windows 10 and installed Office 2019. I can not figure out how to integrate RingCentral with Office as I have on previous computers. The only RingCentral feature I want/need/use is the ability to fax directly from Word to a recipient.

Refused Call metric: If agent is on the phone with call #1 so is not able to pick up call #2. Does call #2 count as a Refused Call?

Is anyone else having problems after this latest update? We've got weird things happening, like multiple calls coming in from the same # at the same time, calls dropping for no reason, statuses not updating on the HUD and on the mobile app.

Why has this feature been removed? Does it have to be a requested feature? Really

We are less than a month from go live on RC and I'm still fighting trying to get AudioCodes MP-124 devices to work properly with RC. I get the analog ports to show as registered both on the Audiocodes as well as on the RC side. But every time I lift a handset, I get nothing but a fast busy as soon as it is lifted. The logs on the AudioCodes shows constant rebuilding of the outbound proxy connections, so I believe that is where the problem originates, but nothing I've tried seems to help with this issue. Does anybody have experience getting these to function properly
