We have a customer who has a single shared line with 7 phones. They need two way communication (intercom) internally on their shared line. Is there anyway we can get internal shared line intercom functionality?

,Our medical office has clinicians at two locations with two different RingCentral extensions and also a main operator who transfers calls to both locations from a third number. Oftentimes a patient will call and leave a voicemail at the wrong location. Is there a way to transfer A SINGLE voice message to another RingCentral extension voicemail? (these numbers are not in the same que) The only way we have found uses e-mail with the message as a voice/audio attachment but this is not a secure option for our office.

I wish RingCentral could allow me to make outbound calls from my computer. I have a wireless headset and that would be so cool.

RC desktop apps can be used to receive incoming calls and SMS.But can we use it for outbound call? It seems outbound calls are not supported

My incoming calls are not coming through, I only receive an email notification when I miss a call. My laptop doesn't ring when someone calls.

When setting account up, typo in contact number. I'm an admin, simply want to fix the typo but the 'edit' icon doesn't go to that field.

When making outbound calls from my direct extension the callerID doesn't populate with our company name. I have our company name setup on our admin account for the callerID field. I am aware that the callerID should not show up when calling from our Toll-Free number. Not sure why it doesn't display when dialing from a direct extension when calling outbound.

We switched to the multi-site setting hoping that each user, in our case it's a different location, would be able to show unique ID when making the outbound calls. We were very disappointed when we learned that in order to accomplish it, the user need to have a virtual number, and not the digital one. It's not possible if you have a desktop phone and you want your phone to show your location number as well as your location name, and not the company name. Are we missing something here? We thought the whole idea of the multi-site version was to make every site customized.

Callers that don't leave a message—and hang up a second or two after the beep—means that I get a 1-2 second voicemail message of silence.In an earlier version of RC admin, users could choose to NOT save these types of calls to voicemail.I think the setting was something to the effect of: Voicemail messages under two minutes are not saved to voicemail.I can't seem to find this setting in the new version of RC admin.Please advise...

Using Ringcentral Video ( not meeting by Zoom ).I can name the video mtg if I Schedule, but if I just Start one it always gets tagged with "my name RingCentral Video meeting". I am recording the meeting and would like to rename it so when I look online at my recordings I can tell what it is without opening and playing some of it.My work-around is to Schedule the mtg NOW by changing the time to current time and name the video mtg to what I want.Also - the record button is in a great place if you are not sharing your screen. But sharing your screen moves the record / pause under settings and is difficult to navigate to for a quick pause.

RingCentral App Feature request: When using multiple speaker and microphone devices on a given system, callers can be unsure of whether their microphone is working, especially when leaving a voice mail to which the call recipient cannot verify the caller is being heard, perhaps if they have not selected the appropriate microphone device. In a similar case, a caller cannot hear a call recipient after placing a call if they have not selected the proper playback device.To assist with this confusion, display the selected audio devices (speakers and microphone) within the dialpad on every call, and show a vertical or horizontal bar-style indicator of audio activity and its intensity (similar to what's found in Audio Settings in the RC Meetings app) as the caller or the call recipient are speaking. If some callers would find it distracting or unnecessary, allow the feature to be expanded/collapsed and for that selection to persist. If possible, allow callers to select different audio

Is there any way to add profile photos as an administrator?

We are having the same problem as other users about the delay in audio calls.All out team has the same problem and they are all in different locations, so is not a network issue. All of them have access to high-speed internet and use their phones connected to the WiFi. What can we do to solve this?It's really annoying for the clients and the delay is getting worse since the last month.Thanks in advance for your response.

Is there a way to pick up a transfered call back to you if the person is not there.

An employee needs a reliable phone service at home for personal use - he has inconsistent cellular service. Is there a RingCentral solution for home or another solution you could recommend? Thanks!

Is it possible to configure the system so that if no one in a department answers, the call is automatically forwarded to a different pre-defined department? If so, how? Example: Call comes in and Auto-Receptionist sends call to Department ABC. If no one in ABC answers the call, then the call is automatically routed to Department XYZ. The transfer between ABC and XYZ should not require any action from the caller.

I attached a custom hold music piece to department> call handling>audio while connecting. Clients are stating that the custom music is too loud. When it was rendered, it was rendered at a normalized decibel level. Uploaded as 16 bit pcm .wav at 8khz mono. Anyone know how to reduce the playback volume on the RingCentral side?

I filtered calls to/from a specific number for the last 7 days. I used the check box to select the calls to and from that phone number. I clicked on "Delete Calls". It asked me if I wanted to delete "All Calls" and of course, since I had selected only the calls I wanted to delete and filtered them by 1 phone number so only a handful of calls came up in the search, I said "yes". The next thing I did is go back to all the calls to the main call log with no filters. There was nothing there... except for existing calls that were in progress. All calls had been deleted. The recordings are very important to our business and we refer back to them and/or send them to customers when something comes up. We also use the call log for training purposes. To have the entire call log deleted in this way is very deflating, although I did delete it myself, I'm not sure how. I think the worst part about all of this is that customer service is not able to help me recover
