We have all of our lines connect to the same voicemail through the call queue and then we have one person transcribe all of the voicemails onto a notebook so that we can make notes on when they were called back and by who. A feature where we could print the transcripts of all the voicemails on one page where we could take notes would be a HUGE help to us. OR a section on the voicemails in the app where we could add notes to them. This would save so much time, keep everything organized and make our callback time much shorter. Please consider this feature!!

Once we have recorded a webinar to the cloud, we have been sharing the link that RC provides. Is there a way to track how many times that video has been accessed? If so can we track by who accessed it?

When using RingCentral video meetings it sets up the meeting through our google calendar and sends out notifications just fine. But when setting a reminder email to go out 15 minutes prior to the meeting only the creator of the meeting gets it. Sounds like this is something on Googles end of things but anyone else have a solution for this that they have found to work well? We are a medical office where we have many telehealth appointments per day and we can't send out email reminders manually on these. Thank you!

This question is in response to an implementation suggested by Mr Phong.We have RingOut functionality implemented on our website and whenever customer leaves his/her number and requests a callback, a ringout session is initiated that calls the number to our call queue number and Customers enters our call queue and are on hold until handled by the next available agent.The problem is, if a customer does not answer the call (he misses it) after X seconds when the call proceeds to customer's voicemail, it then gets connected to us. And the entire hold duration and agents greetings to the customer (who has missed the call) goes as the voicemail to the customer. Ideally, if the call is not answered by the customer, before going to the voicemail of the customer the ring out session should get terminated and should not proceed to the callee (our call centre). But since it is not terminated, that call stays in our call queue. And an agent proceeds to answer that ghost

After downloading the new "R" icon app for RingCentral in every meeting that I am either hosting or attending with video and audio capabilities, I am experiencing a painfully loud and high-pitched audio feedback noise that comes out of nowhere throughout the meeting. Once the noise starts it will fade away but come back more and more frequently as the meeting carries on. This occurs to the point that the meeting is unable to proceed due to the frequent and annoying/disruptive sound. All users within the meeting are experiencing the same issue at the same time. The sound is similar to microphone feedback at a live event. This is happening without the use of any headsets. All users are utilizing Microsoft Surfaces and the internal speakers/microphone when attending/hosting meetings. Also while working with a live technical support specialist CTRL+ F1 to populate a menu within the app does not work. Any help is much appreciated!

Having the error at its start up "E911 service is Limited" and later an icon on top right appears saying you can not make or recieve call ?

I've set up a small RingOut app for sending out calls, which works great for the main extension. I'd like other Users connected to my phone system to also use the app to send out their calls. These users all belong to my company, so I don't need to externally log them in. What's the best way of granting them access?

We are trying to use a Synology DiskStation running an SFTP server as the storage back end for RingCentral Archiver. It's not going well. Often times call recordings are listed as having failed to archive even after multiple retries. I can't get RingCentral to give us any kind of more specific error logging to try to determine the cause.What SFTP servers are you all using, and how good is the reliability?

Hello, I have an issue with Ring Central where every outbound call I attempt to place does not show in the app. Yet the call goes ahead. I can hear the call ringing, but no screen shows up telling me I am on an active call - I cannot put the call down, or mute or anything. If I press the green phone button again, all it does is statrt a new call on top of the existing call. I then get cut off a call 1-2 minutes in. We are planning to build a web based calling portal where any user could just input the destination phone number and call to that number (just like in the demo app of Ringcentral call control js app without all those ring central app authorization part).What should we select as preferred device for this use case?

We are looking at building an app to archive our call recordings and SMS messaging in an on premise database.I have a question about the various auth flows available in the API. For the background, our business is such that we are required by law to record all of our communications with our clients. To that end, the 3 legged OAuth flow that is compatible with SSO, also gives end users the choice whether to have their communications archived. This is not appropriate and is not an option.At the same time, policy is that all systems we use that contain client / customer data must be protected by multi factor authentication. The password type authentication flow is not compatible with our current SSO + MFA solution (Office 365 SAML in our case).Is there an auth flow in the API that will give us the access we need that is also compatible with SSO?

Are your call group queues working as expected? We have many queues with 2 or more call members in them. When a customer dials a group direct number the call is placed on the call queue but none of the available members' extensions ring whether the member has mobile and desktop enabled in call handling or not. There aren't any custom rules created.I have gone through tiers 1 and 2 with RingCentral support. I've contacted my Sr. CSM, spent hours waiting on the phone, sent emails. Nothing. The issue is now 24 hours old.Have you experienced similar?Do you have any contacts in tier 3?

I want callers to hear a prompt one time and no more in my IVR even if they don't press anything. It would seem that the default of 3 loops through the message is hard coded. Is it? Or is there some way to change that value of 3 to 1?I'm actually using the IVR as a holding cell for the call so I can do a database dip and then forward the call. I want to play the message please hold while we direct your call to the appropriate person... [a bit of music]" then if my database dip takes too long I want the call to move onto the next step in the flow.

Don't know how to send fax to a fax line on an extension.

I am trying to Send Fax from PHP SDK it works and providing a sent URL but after that when i check the status of fax it is sending failed.

When trying to run the demo of Ringcentral call control (https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-call-control-js) , it says no devices are available. Why is it so?

In addition to this question, it sure would be nice if there was a way (from the API) for an admin user to call/ring out on behalf of other RC users.

I have 3 phone numbers under my one account; each phone number is for a different company. There is 1 main line for one company, and then 2 virtual lines for the other 2 companies. I would like for when the calls come in on my ring central app to show which company is being called. In example, when I get a call in to Company A, then Company A's name will appear on my screen; when I get a call coming in from Company B, then Company B's name will appear on my screen, and so on. I have called to ring central, spoken with their Advanced Tech Team who advised they do NOT have this feature for VIRTUAL LINES, and to go on the FEATURE REQUEST page in order to request it be added. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue.

My share button is missing when I am logged in as myself into RC Meetings, but if I log in as another user I can see it.
