I think I may have missed something here. Trying to authorize so I can test other API calls. I seem to have to supply a login and password to authorize but I would think the ID and Secret would be enough. What step did I miss here? I'm using the RingCentral NuGet package inside a windows form application for now. Hi,We are getting BadRequest error when trying to generate an access token from refresh token.To give a bit more context to it we have a .net application that integrates with RC to retrieve the calls. For this, we have a background job hosted in azure. As part of this job, we make HTTP request to generate the access token sending the request to /restapi/oauth/token . We generate a new access token every 10 mins.What we are seeing is that this job seems to run for days and then for no reason it starts to fail with bad request error. Once it starts failing it never picks up and eventually the access token expires and once the access token is expired there is no way to get the job to run successfully and we have to get back to the customer to authorise again.We have seen this happen a couple of times now and not sure what would be causing this kind of behaviour.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

How should we validate the ringout feature after running the app

I need to change my email address in RingCentral. I understand that you cannot do this in the app. However, when I log into the web version of RingCentral, but I do not see an option to log in to the Admin Portal. Hi,I'm looking for the right path to manage multiple calls on one device using the REST API.What are the API endpoints to:- Answer an incoming call while putting a previous call on hold.- Switching between the two different calls.- Combine the calls into a Conference.

If we have 2-3 different extension, what is the best api call to get the name and details of all the available extension?For example, if 2 extension are there 101 and 103, where 101 belong to john and 103 to peter, what api call will give all these details?Can be done with node js? Any reference?

Want to schedule and update meetings in Outlook with meeting url generating and invite others to join from Outlook.Since new with Ringcentral, any guidance on how to use that and generate the url with all configuration? Do I need to install any software of Ringcentral for that?

We are using Ringcentral desktop app and setting up a video conference meeting. However when we try to schedule a meeting we would like the information added to our Microsoft Office H&B Outlook calendar on our desktop, but Ringcentral desktop app does not have this capability

Using the/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/call-logAPI call. We get details of the call, including the "from" json object which includes phone number and contact (if available).We are making a simple call log reporting application and the problem is if the receptionist transfers a call to a user than the 'from' field becomes filled out with the receptionist's extension and info, which isn't useful when reporting who you spent time on the phone with.So the question becomes: how do I access the original caller info (specifically phone number and contact)?Thanks!

the badge notifications on the Glip app for Iphone is not disappearing properly. It will constantly show I have 97 badges but when I go into the app and then leave the app it disappears. Once I get a message the previous badge count reappears at 97. Why is this not working properly?

I'm building a monitoring app that will alert me if call quality drops. I think I've done this using the old api. Is it still a possibility?

So a new customer of mine using deskphones and the ringcentral desktop app with headsets for calls. Upon making multiple parks for the office to use I found that when a user on the app tries to park a call it gives a generalized *(park #) which is then not found on the deskphones to be shared with the office. If the users are all set up to share parks how come the ringcentral desktop app users can't choose where to park a call? Is the RC Phone app still a usable app? Is the RingCentral desktop app supposed to allowing users to use the parks made in the portal?

Example: Right now, with Gmail - You can write an email, and schedule it to send at a later time in the day - or whatever date / time you want.Can I do that with your Text Messages? Preferably using the Ring Central Desktop app?Many times I'll be up late at night, and want to reply to everyone's texts -but it would be inappropriate to send text messages at 2AM.Would be nice to write them at 2AM, schedule them to send at 8AM, or at some reasonable hour.Thanks

Email Notifications you get for Text Messages you receive, they currently say:"New Text Message from [Name] on [Date] [Time] Can I customize that?I would like mine to say this: Text [Name] on [Date] [Time]Reason: The subject line is too long, would love to be able to see the beginning of that text message in the subject line - While just glancing at my inbox. If the subject line were shorter - content from the text message would be visible at the inbox level, at least the beginning of it.I have to manually open each one just to see what it says.Thanks

Profile Picture Does Not Update in RingCentral Meetings

After I make api calls consecutively for 2 days, my apps graduation requirements status is : passing and on the third day, again graduation requirements status becomes red. how to handle this problem ? do we need a paid ring central account to graduate app from dev. portal ?When I created app in dev portal, no option of public or private was shown to me. Is it possible through the API to get a list of available park locations, or is it always *801 - *899

Is it possible to use any of the company numbers as the caller id for any of the extensions? Essentially having a many-to-many relationship between extensions and company numbers? I have a requirement to choose an extensions from number on an SMS text based on the recipient (basically making it look like the message is coming from a local area code).When I choose a company number (not the main number) for an SMS I get the following error:{"errorCode" : "FeatureNotAvailable","message" : "Phone number doesn't belong to extension","errors" : [ {"errorCode" : "MSG-304","message" : "Phone number doesn't belong to extension"} ]How can I set things up such that any company number can belong to any extension?

Starting the past weekend, I kept on seeing ads on Facebook for "Ringcentral Video" and their website has info on it. It appears to be a new and separate product but I haven't heard back from our account rep on how we can begin using it and for more details, namely if this will be completely replacing the zoom version.I was able to locate from some screenshots the site is https://v.ringcentral.com/ and that let me log in, but I have no access to anything about the product in my admin portal.

1. I'm unable to set a custom status (like 'Lunch') and then have it persist or be available to select the next day? Do I have to type it out every day?2. How do I create my own custom status(es) that always show up in the list? I don't plan on using any of the standard statuses.

I recorded a meeting in ringcentral meetings. How do I send that recording to someone who could not attend?

In the RingCentral App, there is a setting under Notifications and Sounds => Email Notifications => Direct Messages => Receive email notifications for direct messages. The setting is enabled, but does not actually send the emails for received/sent direct messages. This function would be extremely beneficial to our firm, as all internal communication must be retained for compliance purposes. We use an email retention service, so the email notifications for direct messaging would allow us to properly retain direct messages, and allow the entire firm to utilize the great direct messaging system in the RingCentral App.

While sharing my screen during an RC meeting, if myself and the attendees have our camera's turned on; I would like to have the camera icons in a fixed position either off to the side or at the top or bottom. Currently, it is just a floating icon that has to be moved around if needing to click on a specific area or my screen.
