Hi everyoneI hope you are all well in these uncertain times. I have successfully created a Windows Desktop app which can return the whole entire call log and all call recordings for all inbound and outbound telephone numbers. However please could someone help me by telling me (with a Postman example or similar if possible please) how I could pass a telephone number and dateTo and dateFrom parameter to the API (I assume with a GET command) so I can return ONLY the call log and call recordings for that particular telephone number (any calls with that telephone number involved, whether they are the calling party or the recipient) between the two dates? Do I pass any parameters in the postman BODY in a particular format? I have tried doing it as a querystring like this:phoneNumber=123456789 as an example without success.Thank you for any help. I really appreciate it.

Using the RC messaging app needs the ability to respond to a message with more than just a thumbs up. This is a standard feature in Slack and something that adds a lot of value in the ability to respond quickly to messages.

Previously when sending out a new fax there were two options provided on how to place attachments one attaching through the PC and the other option was to scan directly to the Ring central app. Several people throughout of office have stated that this feature was very convenient.

I have three custom rules:Business Hours (Mon-Fri 8-5)After HoursHolidays (list of date ranges)The Validate Rules shows the first two rules conflicting with the Holidays rule in Called Number and Time. Called number is our main company number so that has to be the same. And of course, the times are going to overlap--a rule that specifies 12/21-1/1 as Holiday is going to overlap the time blocks covered by the other rules.The instructions to create holiday rule just say to add the rule with the dates. Nothing about editing the other rules to specify the non-holiday dates, which would be a big pain. It seems a rule with specific date would take precedence over one that does not have a specific date. Or we could re-order the rules so the first rule takes precedence, but that's not an option.Anyone know how to make this work?

My users are used to using Slack and I want to migrate them all over to the RC platform however I'm getting some pushback due to lack of notification features that they have already in Slack. For example their icon changes on the taskbar when they get a new message.

I'm having my calls forwarded to my cell. After I receive a call on my cell, how do I forward that call to the ring central phone at the office?

Okay, this has been going on for two years. I've tried many, many things.What's happening: we have 10 Cisco phones, the users lines occassionally go orange (not available) for a few seconds to many minutes, usually self-resolves but sometimes a reboot is required. Only happens to one phone at a time usually. Rarely a phone will reboot itself. I have changed out every part of the chain: new router RV345P, phones directly connected to the POE ports. Phones: we've gone through SPA525G2, SPA509G, and the new 850 and 860s. All have the same problem. We have not experienced a dropped call in the middle of a call, only happens when phones are idle.

Two Questions: 1. How do I obtain the hold time from the call log API? We have a client that needs to know this for reporting purposes. We pull the call log daily and store in a central db for dashboard reporting FYI. 2. What does "Rejected" under the "Result Status Fields" mean? The documentation says: "Call is declined". Is that a failure of the incoming call? Thank you!

US - I'm a new user on Ring Central. Trying to setup a simple single level IVR. All I want it to do is prompt people to press 1-4 and send to an extension. I've set up the IVR with the prompt, but now I can't switch from company hours and after hours greetings to IVR. When I select bypass greeting or setup custom rule they only allow me to select an extension instead of the IVR extension. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to recover accidentally deleted text messages? Texts were deleted in the RC Phone app on an iOS device. We can do this for deleted voicemail messages within 5 days by signing into the portal site.

Advanced Rules can be set for Holidays, Vacations, Sick-days or any other situation where you will need the calls re-routed.  This can be done for Company Wide or User Holiday Hours.  Here is a simple way to setup your Holiday Hours. Select the Specific Date Range, that way you don't have to remember to turn it off when Tuesday morning comes. :-) 

Hi,I am trying to set up my Main Day IVR so it just rings an extension. In this case a call queue. No IVR.Main Night IVR is an IVR and works fine.The only way I can figure out how to do this is to set up a Custom Rule that basically skips the Main Day IVR. I did this and calls are currently being routed directly to the correct extension/call queue during daytime hours.However, since I set up a Custom Rule to do this I now have no way to create rules for holidays. I can only do it manually right at or close to the time of the holiday.What I really want is a way to have the Day IVR just go to an extension like you can with the Night IVR. I'm not sure why this isn't an available choice. Seems like an oversight to me.If anyone has any suggestions or someplace else I should post this please let me know.Thanks,JF

how can I go about adding that feature "accept call in queue? all my coworkers stated that when they set up their ringtone it was automatically on there. But it dosn't give me the option under settings.

When one of my end users tries to copy and paste a text message in the Glip app, it leaves out certain things like dates and phone numbers. When we paste it outside of the Glip app, it pastes itself correctly. Is there anyway to fix this?
