I am experiencing an issue where incoming callers receive no dial tone when calling my personal desk phone. For example, I will call my desk phone from my cell phone and receive no dial tone or ringing on the cell phone. This is happening when calling from other internal phones as well. This is a desk phone not a call queue so the “Audio while connecting” setting does not apply. I've resynced the desk phone, power cycled the phone, inspected call rules, even swapped the phone entirely. All without resolution. Any help would be appreciated. 

This is my 1st use of Ring central I find it impossible to navigate .  There does not appear to be a telehone number to speak to someone either. I stumble aound on the RingCentral sing in page but can not figure out  incoming call rings on my three extenstions.    I can log into my account but I can never find the “ Admin Portal”    Any Help out there?  I almost feel it would be best to find another VOIP company.   thoughts?  

I'm having a bit of trouble with frequent and repeated incoming calls. It's really disrupting my day and costing me time and money .I was wondering if there's a way to automatically save the names of frequent callers to the caller ID. That would be a huge help in identifying important calls and quickly dismissing less urgent ones.Alternatively, is there a feature to detect and flag repeated calls from the same number? Maybe even an option to alert or notify me before take the call ?Any suggestions or add-ons you can recommend would be greatly appreciated.Thanks for your help!

We have 14 numbers, 11 of which we can disconnect, how do we do that to pay less?

Hi Everyone, I’ll give you the context of the situation: I have a program that automatically checks people in my organisations calls they are making (using the Ring Central websocket) against the TPS (telephone preference service). If they flag as true then it sends an SMS notifying the user and (in theory currently) ends the call.The problem is that, while I can end my own calls, I cannot end the calls of others. I understand this is because the system doesn’t allow you to end others calls even if you are a super admin and have Call Control permissions on your app. I have trawled through the documentation and forum but I can’t find any answer. I do not want to create a JWT for every single user and login in each and every time it needs to end a call, it’s long-winded, requires constant monitoring, etc.For additional context, my users use the Ring Central desktop app, therefore there is no device names per say, however they are on the same network. I want to report this person who is impersonating Christine Marinelli of Englewood Health (see snapshot below). When a customer calls when the call is Answered the script should pass the number into the search for client info of https://app.ezlynx.com What should the rest be. We were using what is in the TAG line below. The URL does open but not the client info.I also tried using the script below and changing Caller_number_raw to just P for phone. It opens the client files but all of them not just one. 

How do I get Ring Central to tell me "You have a call from BUSINESS NAME" when it forwards a call to my cell phone?

We use RingEX and RingCX.  If I turn on SSO via the EX admin portal, will that also enable SSO for CX?

Hi All, Wondering if someone can help. I have spent two hours on hold trying to get tech support to assist but can't get through. I set up a custom Auto Reception Greeting Message and have followed all the instructions on the how-to guides but it still doesn't work. 

With the new AI features, we’d like to track when they have/haven’t been used on calls.Are there plans for this information to be tracked into logs/analytics at some point?Thanks

Environment - Dell XPS17; Windows 11 Pro; RC Version Desktop:   24.4.2012.12812 Windows (x64) Airpod Pro 2When connecting to a meeting using bluetooth / airpods, volume is low.  Other audio in windows is fine.  Youtube, Sounds in Control Panel, Zoom Meetings; etc - volume level is normal - RC Meetings is low.  RC Meeting Sound Volume 100.

After a call is completed it can take up to 90 seconds for the phone to receive dial tone to make another call.  

Text messages are not sent!

We forwarded another user calls in another office location to my direct number. We can no longer call this user. We receive a recorded message that “sorry, we are unable to connect at this time”. Is there a setting we are missing to be to still call this user internally? 

Hi everyone,We’re running into a 403 error (CMN-408) when trying to call the IVR Menu API (restapi/v1/account/*/ivr-menus) with our app. Here’s the setup:We’ve assigned these scopes to our app:CallControl, VoipCalling, ReadContacts, ReadAccounts, TeamMessaging, SubscriptionWebhook, EditPresence, ReadMessages, Faxes, ReadPresence, ReadCallRecording, A2PSMS, Analytics, WebSocket, SubscriptionWebSocket, Contacts, EditExtensions, RoleManagement, Video, RingOut, ReadAuditTrail, SMS, InternalMessages, ReadCallLog, EditMessagesIn the API history (Developer Portal → App → API History), the failed call shows this:App scope: ReadAccounts HTTP status: 403 Error code: CMN-408From what I understand, this error usually means permissions are missing. But since "ReadAccounts" is included in the scope set, I’m not sure what’s causing the issue.Has anyone faced something similar or knows what might be going wrong?Thanks in advance!Best,Srecko

I received a recent call from Dell Support Technician and the phone number came up as Possible Scammer Robo call on my Ring Central Caller ID. I was waiting for contact from Dell to have a computer repaired. I was glad the tech email mailed me back to follow up on my Service Ticket. After he emailed me back, I did a google search for the phone number and it appears to be a valid Dell number. What information can I send the tech that he may be able to submit to his Dell company manger to have their phone number validated with RingCentral so it can be removed from the RingCentral Scam call logs?I do not think it is appropriate to post the Dell phone number on this board, all I'd like is be able to get the RingCentral process on getting the number removed.Thank you,

We are new to the system and are only using the mobile app. One extension wants to have a desktop phone because their cell phone sound quality is not good. Once a desktop phone is in use, can the mobile app still be used for the same extension?

I am getting the following error when trying to send an SMS from a phone number assigned to a different user in my account. The error message makes mention of the "OutboundSMS" permission, but I do not see that permission in my account. Is there a way to view a list of ALL of my blocked calls in the super admin portal? I only see a list of 8 blocked numbers. Also, is there a way to change the message to blocked numbers to a custom message? I don't like the options that RC currently shows (it needs to be specific that this number has been rejected, not that i don't accept numbers from the area code...stupid).

Can limited extensions be part of a ring group when so when not answered it goes to a central voicemail? 

I know to place international calls user extensions must be assigned International Calling role but I want to know if Standard role includes the ability to receive the incoming international calls ?

The other day, all of a sudden I started getting 403 Forbidden responses on the /timeline/fetch endpoint. Nothing has changed. All creds are active/valid. The App has the Analytics permission. No idea why this just started happening.
