This is very specific, but we are unable to make calls out to the 657 area code.  At our end calls ring once and seem to drop.  Customers are seeing the call.  We can receive calls.  We have checked other area codes and have no issues with calling out.  Is this a RingCentral issue?

the dial button is gray and the error is- Sorry, something is wrong on our end, so calling is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. been using wifi and lan connection but can't make outgoing calls. I can make calls using data connection on my mac and windows and can also make calls on mobile ios app using wifi. please help. Thanks!

I am trying to schedule a custom report template to send every day, but am not given the option of the custom report template.   (It is an SLA report showing enqueue times)     Since I cannot get the data same day which is absolutely moronic, I need it first thing the next day.   Am I missing something or are we not allowed to schedule custom reports?

FAX Can we customize fax notifications to: Only receive a fax notification status when there is a failed fax?We send more than 50-80 faxes per day and keep getting notification on email for each successfully sent fax. We will like to customize it to only receive a notification status for failed fax so we can resend it.

The length of this outage is now well beyond what even the most loyal of customers would tolerate.  The fact that your upper management has not published an official explanation / apology / expectation of repair time to your user base is absolutely ridiculous.  If you don’t want to experience a mass exodus of customers when this current issue is resolved you best speak up now.

Hi guys,We can't make any outgoing calls in ringcentral. When trying to call, it says the following: "Sorry, something is wrong on our end, so calling is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."The issue only happened today, and first time we encountered this type of issue. We also raised a support ticket via the ringcentral app as well. Screenshot attached. Any advise?

Each time I go over 100,000 usage minutes in a new UNLIMITED fax account (have been advised to close & open accounts due to this issue before), the system automatically starts sending me emails saying "Important Service Notice - Calling Credit - ZERO Balance" and trying to charge my credit card.The support folks are kind enough to offer to reimburse these charges as they occur, but the problem is they keep charging more and more with each bunch of faxes (since it's already over 100,000 minutes) and doesn't stop, needing me to jump through hoops each time to call, explain, convince, and ward off irrelevant justification attempts by several staff for being billed (you must be faxing international, you must be faxing toll-free numbers, etc, which are all irrelevant) before finally I am told it will be reimbursed and won't happen again (but it does).It would be SO MUCH NICER if you could only please program your system to not get triggered to bill

Looking for a way to gather important information on sales calls discussing where the prospect found us and other marketing info and would like to search all the transcripts from those calls. Should be an easy task, but I don’t see a way to do that.Ideally we would be able to search the patterns of discussions, looking for objections, as to why we won or lost deals. 

I removed a user from a site, but the analytics report still pull their data (it should only have been pulling data for that specific site) is this an actual issue or is there a certain amount of time it takes for the users to be off the report?

We just got our SMS approval on our acct today but I am not able to receive texts from the main line only my direct line. And I am only able to send texts from my direct line. Is there a setting to click that will give me access to both lines for texting? As of now, I am able to change my caller ID back and forth, just need the same for SMS.

I feel like the uptime history on https://status.ringcentral.com/ is misleading. The outage on 1/22 affected users in the Americas region for multiple hours, but you are still reporting a 99.9998% uptime. This is misleading to people that use Ring Central for phone service and could be deceptive for anyone that would be looking to use RingCentral for UCaaS. Can this be also be separated for the different regions and also include the global statistic?

 We would like to get the following enhancements to our current call handling system: Caller Option Indication: When a client calls our main line and selects options 1, 2, 9, or 0 from the automated menu, we would like the system to clearly indicate to the receiving agent which option the caller selected. This information would be invaluable in understanding the reason for the call and streamlining our response. RingCentral Call Identification: Currently, when a call is forwarded to an external number from RingCentral, it only appears as a forwarded call without any indication of its origin. We request that the system clearly identify incoming calls as originating from RingCentral, including the specific extension or source. This would help us better manage internal calls and improve overall call handling efficiency.

Company has an existing eFax account used by a small number of remote employees for sending/receiving non sensitive information.    I did a test fax from that number to our RingCentral fax line and when it comes into the RingCentral fax it shows a random phone number.   I did two tests and both times it came through with a different random number.    Just curious why it is doing this and not showing the actual eFax number?  

How do I update the RingSense for CX licenses?  I can do it via inventory for our RingEX licenses, but not CX.  We have several CX users who had their agent licenses removed, but they are still showing up in our list of RingSense users.  They don’t have a RingSense license for EX or CX so shouldn’t be showing on the list at all.  The only thing I can think is that their RingSense for CX license is still active.

In order to work remotely and use RingCentral, must you lug the physical phone around with you in order to receive calls? 

When attempting to make an outgoing call, all i get is “bad SDP” message on the phone.  how do i fix this.  I can still receive incoming calls and make internal calls to other extensions. I have a Yealink T43U phone.

I’m trying to find out who our account manager is. Can you kindly help? I tired sending an email to CommunitySupport@ringcentral.com to ask and it was returned undeliverable.  I’m looking to see what AI assistant features you provide and get pricing for it. 

I have been trying to port numbers out of Ring Central to our new SIP service for several weeks now. I have provided the correct information as provided to me by Ring Central techs whom I spoke to on the phone after the first port out rejection. The Ring Central techs could not even tell me WHY the porting requests were being denied. I have been in the IT and telecom field for over 50 years and this is by far the most problems i have ever had completing a port out. I am trying one more time and if it is rejected again, I will be filing a formal complaint with both the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)I suggest other Ring Central customers having difficulties porting numbers out do the same.

Is there a way for people working in a Call Center Queue to be able to view how many calls are currently waiting to be unaswered/handled? 

I have at least 3 users now, for whom calls ring their iPhone very briefly, then immediately disconnect. Both queue calls and direct calls to their extension behave the same way. This is very frustrating.

I haven’t seen any explanation as to why Ring Central‘s customers were not notified of the outage. We all had to discover the problem on our own. It’s been 24 hours and we’ve never received a single email or any communication from Ring Central with any explanation or updates. We’ve had to go looking for our own answers and I don’t think that’s acceptable.

I have seen multiple people on here complaining that TCR registration was never successful with Ring central for whatever reason. We submitted TCR registration originally in October. Constant denials, even after getting reps on the phone with web developers to make sure every line and word was identical to what we were told on the phone. It has been under review for 2 months now, no progress. Spoke on the phone, yet another new rep saying to change something. Almost as if Ring Central does not want you to register for texting and keeps doing fraud to always have a reason to deny you or prolong the process.  TCR registration with another company was done in 2 days before moving my services to Ring central. Might need to switch companies.Any advice from someone that has successfully completed the TCR Registration?
