Over the past week I have received multiple email messages that tell me that some unknown phone number has been unlinked from some “federation” portal. Below is an de-identified example:   Dear [Firstname Lastname], +61 (2) 99999999 was unlinked from federation "OPTUS MOBILE PTY LIMITED". Date: 7/31/2024 01:30 Thank you for using Optus Loop with RingCentral!

My HR department is trying to answer questions of prospective employees about substance screening policies and any time they use a word like THC or Weed or (take your choice of controlled substance) the SMS message "cannot be sent". Any ideas how to turn this feature off?

regarding the recent notice: Verizon has announced that it is no longer accepting “vtext” SMS messages from non-PTN numbers. What is vtext? What is a non-PTN number? Does this mean I can't text with my customers anymore with the Ring Central app?

My phone randomly through out the day will say line unregistered. How do i fix this?

greetings. I have a user that states she hears a beeping during call that are being auto recorded. this interferes with conversations and messages she leaves with customers. I have removed the auto-recording feature from her user and it stops beeping. I reactivate is and she hears it again. She has the same settings as others users in her department and they do not hear any beeping. Thank you for your input.

We can receive inbound calls from other carriers such as Sprint and TMobile, but we cannot receive calls from AT&T numbers.

I downloaded a list of all users and noticed a column titled MS Teams Mobile Mode. It shows everyone as being disabled. How do I enable this mode and what functionality does it add?

I have many call queue users who will continue to get calls when their computer is locked even though they toggle off Accept Call Queue Calls and change their status/presence to DND. When they unlock their computer, it shows their status as Available and within several seconds it changes back to DND. Please help!

This question seems to have been repeatedly answered years ago, but the interface in Ring Central Admin does not match the solution nowadays. Where do I (admin) reset a users voicemail PIN? This option used to exist previously, but now when I search for it, the option no longer exists (for any user).   I am looking in ‘Users with Extension’ then Phone then Voicemail Settings.  But there is no option to reset PIN.

Hello. My company provides support for another company who utilizes the desktop Ring app. I have one user in particular who has a very annoying issue the last several weeks. Every few days, she will get a message in the app which states that access to her microphone is blocked. Here's what I've tried to fix it:Windows settings permit the mic to use Ring.I ran BIOS and Windows updates. I had her try both internal and external mics. I uninstalled and reinstalled Ring. I ran chkdsk and sfc /scannow.I changed the default mic. It just seems to be different versions of the same mic though. Checked device manager to make sure mic drivers were up to date. I disabled and re-enabled it to no avail. I contacted Ring support who suggested a list of approved headphones. However, other folks in the company use headphones not on the list so this isn't it. The Ring support ticket is 18000696. I haven't heard from them in quite some time.Can someone at Ring help here? I'm running ou

Has anyone seen a Group Call Queue revert to state of when the queue was created as opposed to updates that had been made, tested and used for over month?

I am trying to download a CSR for porting numbers out of RingCentral. The instructions titled "Downloading your Customer Service Record in the RingCentral online account" with a last update of January 11, 2023 states there is a "CSR for porting out Download" option. I have followed the path provided - Admin Portal > Phone System > Phone Numbers > All Numbers and am not seeing the CSR for porting out Download option.Every search that I do leads me to this same article. Is there another place the CSR download has moved to?Thank you

I've been having difficulty importing an updated contact list. Is there a way to delete all entries in the Personal Contact list so I can start over?

I cannot receive phones calls from a landline phone.  It just rings busy.

Calls that we make from our desk phones to AT&T mobile numbers DO go through. Calls made from AT&T mobile numbers TO any of our company phone numbers do NOT go through. AT&T Wireless customers get a busy signal or a "We're sorry but all circuits are busy" message. Sprint and Verizon callers do not seem to be affected, and are able to call us just fine.I called RingCentral support, and I was told that maybe it is because all 50 of our phone numbers had somehow been flagged as spam. This doesn’t make any sense for a number of reasons:If we are flagged as spam, why are we still able to call AT&T customers? Shouldn’t they have blocked us from calling their customers instead of the other way around?How did all 50 of our phone numbers get reported for spam simultaneously? We have only publicized about 10 of these phone numbers. How would someone find the others?The chat support in the RingCentral admin does not work. I would like my callers to be able to dial the extension of their choice. What am I missing? For example, we created an extension for each state we do business in. “To reach your regional account manager, please dial the two-digit state from which you are calling.” (Arizona = AZ = 29) I cannot figure out how to let my callers dial Extension 29! I can’t figure it out : ( The IVR menu only goes 1-9. And once you’re in a Queue, you can’t dial an extension?? WHAT? HELP 

Since 7/3, our RingCX agent have been having trouble with the RingCX for Salesforce integration. It seems the app will intermittently freeze and then drops the call. We have been working with RC support and they recommended updating to the latest version of the app, 1.10 but that isn’t helping. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? There is zero issues when using the engage.ringcentral.com portal. This is just happening with Salesforce.
