Can Zoho screen pop an exisiting customer first, and if the number is unknown pop up a new record form? 

We are a new user of RingCentral and just moved into a new office.  Only one office has coax capability because it has the wireless modem/router and all the other office is purely using wireless internet.  In the office with the router, we have a Polycom desktop phone.  Everyone else is using their cell phones as their primary phone.  I would like to provide each office/user with their own desktop phone which will be higher quality than using their cell phones.  Do they manufacture desktop phones that can be used via wireless internet and, if so, does RingCentral support them?  If so, which wireless desktop phones are recommended.Thanks,  Curtis

The ring central app gives me the following error when I try to use on my new computer.  What are you doing to make sure your applications stay up to date with new operating systems?  

I am looking for a way to configure SSO without it getting forced down to all users. We want to configure and enable it, and then hand pick a test group to roll out to before we blanket the entire organization.I am looking for the settings to allow us to control per user, as well as then the best way to switch to the whole organization and enforce it once done testing.Thanks!

Our main phone number has disappeared from our staff’s apps when phoning clients.It is not even an option on some mobiles.

Hi,I need help please with submitting my TCR registration.  I have tried 4 times now, and still is rejected, but it is unclear why.  I am a small business and trying to use the ringcentral phone for basic communication with my customers.  How can I get specific help with how to complete this for my industry?  There seems to be confusion on what is prohibited or not, and looking at the guidelines what I do is not prohibited, but ringcentral keeps telling me it is, because I don’t have a person who is looking at my account, and seeing what has worked with businesses that are similar in my industry. Other phone carriers (not ringcentral) are approving businesses in my industry and I really don’t want to have to switch my phone # to another carrier (what a hassle after purchasing the phones, and setting up the system and porting my # to ringcentral this year!) just because I can’t get help with how to complete for my industry. Ever since the most recent update to my installation of Ringcentral, the Ringcentral message window is opening when Windows starts (refer to the attached example). I don't recall authorizing this behavior, nor even being given an opportunity to authorize the behavior. Please let me know how to disable the autostart of Ringcentral – Message  

We have an issue that is happening sporadically to multiple users.  They will try to log in to RingCentral in Salesforce and get two error messages saying “Cannot connect to the server. Please retry later” and “Login failed due to internal errors.  Please try again later”.  The users are using Chrome. They can have the issue with Chrome, but if they use Incognito mode it will work, and it worked on Microsoft Edge, but will still give errors using Chrome (non-incognito mode).  They may get the errors for a couple days, then it will work fine, then the next day it happens again.I have been working with support for over two weeks now and they don’t have an answer yet.  Is anyone else having this issue, or HAD this issue and figured out a resolution?I appreciate any and all help!

Anyone found an improvement to the digital channel notification system? The “Give me more” is not really a good notification for us. When working calls it would make more sense to get a pop-up

Hi all,We are having an issue with three of twelve phones where the user extensions are not showing up on the actual desk phone but are previewing fine in admin view. We have reset all three phones and nothing has changed. Can someone provide a solution. Thanks. 

Is there an sms gateway format for RingCentral so I can send an email from any email address and receive it as a text message to my RingCentral phone number like myphonenumber@sms.ringcentral.com or 5551234567@mms.ringcentral.net etc?

I use the Ring Central for my current company and I'm starting a second job that also uses Ring Central for phone service. Can I have both companies set up to work on my smartphone simultaneously? I am the owner and admin for the first, but only an employee for the second.

I cannot seem to be able to forward calls to an external number. I get the following message : “you cant forward calls to a number assigned to your account. To forward calls to another extension, please select the extension directly.” Note : the external number I am trying to forward to has been scheduled to be ported into RingCentral next week. Thanks

Our organisation’s Outlook contacts are organised into two categories: Clients and Suppliers.  It seems RingCentral will only sync contacts that are NOT categorised.  How can we fix this? 

RingCentral creates duplicate Phone Call Records in our CRM Microsoft Dynamics. It can be outbound, or inbound. One of the duplicate records will have a recording url attached to it. And another, not always owned by the person who answered the call, will have the call note mapped to the description field of an entirely different duplicate. The duplicates with have a duration of 0 minutes usually but recently they are NULL for duration. We had suspicions that it was related to a phone call record being created with every ring as it bounced through the cascade of available agents, however this doesn’t make sense in the context of outbound calls. The amount of duplicates can be 3-10 duplicate records and now has become even worse as the ‘mapped’ description could be in any of the duplicates created, without rhyme or reason. Has another customer experienced this?

Hi,So, I’m basically looking for a possible option to see if we can text certain clients giving them an option to have us contact them if it’s something they’re interested in.For instance (just an example):Hey, we’ve got a great sale going on right now and we wanted to know if you’d like (insert person’s name here) to give you a call back about your options. If you would, press the button and someone will get back to you soon....and then have a button inserted in the text, that if the customer/client pushed, a notification would be sent via email or text back to the number we set up within the button to call the number that the push came from.Does this sound like something that could be done within the options we have currently on the messaging/texting capabilities via RingCentral? Thanks

I have six extensions.  When an outside caller calls into the office, all phones ring and whoever is available can answer same and then transfer as needed.  If no one is available the call is routed to an  live answering service.  This all works fine.  However, in many instances one extension may need to call another extension.  For instance I need to call one of my assistants. If they pick up no problem.   However, if they dont pick up the call is treated like a missed call and routed to the live answering service.  I dont need this to happen as this is just an internal call.   Is there a way to distinguish between an external call and an internal call so that if a call one of the extension and there is no answer it just goes to voice mail or there is some other announcement.
