Hello, Months ago our team disabled the Callback functionality within RingCentral. This removed fields like Callback Date from the widget. We still had the dispostition "Callback" available for the team to select but wanted to disable to the callback feature because the Callback prospects were popping up at incorrect times. The strange thing is that we are still seeing Callback dates populated eventhought it isnt available for the Call Center to populate. Can some please help me understand why?

Hello. I have a user that answers the general phone line for customers calling in. We have this set as a call queue group. They volunteered to be the first to answer every time. However, they want the ability to leave the call queue for a few hours to let other users answer the line instead, but while still maintaining the ability for coworkers to call them, so DND would not work in this case. Is there an easy way for the user to do this? Thanks!

How to programmatically transfer a call with Embeddable?

We tried with the answer call party API we are getting the 403 response code, we also tried with the pickup call party API but for this we need to use transfer call API. so can you please suggest which API will be used when an incoming call triggers to answer the call.

Hello, I'd like to start by apologizing if this is duplicate - I looked through several other related questions that did not exactly answer what I'm looking for.My app uses JWT Auth Flow to login and make calls using RingOut, and I have "Issue refresh tokens?" set to "Yes" in my app settings. In my implementation, I start-up a long-running daemon thread, and on initialization I login to my platform using the JWT token I created for my client ID. I saw post requests and calls being issued as expected when first starting the thread. I expected that my initial login would never expire, and I would continue to be able to make these post requests for as long as I like without re-authenticating.Recently, I saw a "Refresh token has expired" error when the thread attempted to make a post request. Is this expected? I thought with "Issue refresh tokens" enabled, I could extend a session without needing a refresh token. Another note

What does the "stopped" action result in Ringcentral call log mean?In the call log report, I show the same number showing up same date/time, but with two different durations times. We have set up credentials in the sandbox to get a token, We prefer to test with Postman. We are receiving the error "OAU-222 Account does not exist". We verified the authorization header is correctly set to Basic + base64_encoded( Client ID + ":" + Client Secret ).We saw another post indicating Authorization and Content-type should be passed in the body of the post, not as headers. When we tried that we got a different error. Any help woudl be greatly appreciated. We downloaded the sample Postman collection, but it seems to be out of date and does not match the JWT Authorization Code Flow as described in the documentation.

I have a customer that will be moving to Ring Central from another provider. Typically when moving from one provider to another, I would follow the steps below. 1. Submit the port request to the new provider.2. Forward the calls from the previous provider's service to the new service. 3. Set the new system up so that the outbound caller ID spoofs the previous number. This allowed the customer to place outbound calls using the phone number that their clients would recognize. I can't seem to do that with Ring Central. If a number is registered as a Substitute Caller ID, it can't be ported. If it's not registered as a Substitute Caller ID, it can't be used as the Outbound caller ID.Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Hello all and apologies for the long title. Hopefully it aptly describes my question but I will elaborate further.My company collects RC call data for many of our customers - specifically their call data is sent to us via telephony session event webhook. With all the events, we build the call in our system. The issue is that the calls we create do not have the same start time as their call log record in RC. We use the eventTime of the first setup event (sequence: 2) as the calls start time, however, when we hit RC's call log API and find the same call, it has a different start time. The start time of the call log record is often only off by milliseconds, however, it's enough to cause a discrepancy between our system and RingCentrals.Should we be using a different event for the calls start time so that it lines up with RC? I've looked through the events of a few sessions and it seems that none of the eventTimes of the events line up

The contacts that I had saved in the previous version of the app do not automatically come up when trying to send a new fax/text, but after sending it the contact name does show. Also, when I look up contacts it only shows internal/company contacts not the contacts that were saved in previous version. Is this something that is being worked on?

Is it possible to put a queue call on hold in order to answer a waiting call? For example, speaking with queue call customer-1, while customer-2 is queued. I want to put customer-1 on a brief hold to answer customer-2, then place customer-2 on hold and return to helping customer-1. Once done, then take customer-2 off of hold.
