I'm using RingCentral Labs - Enhanced Business SMS. When I send a message with the word "test" it always sends, and when I tried multiple different versions of text w/ characters less than 160 and it will not send. Any idea why it sends for some messages but not others?

Has anyone been experiencing an uptick of dropped calls while using the mobile application while on cellular data.We have had an increase in complaints about the mobile app dropping calls after a couple seconds after answering the calls in the past month or so. While using Wifi in our locations everything is fine.These users have been using the mobile app for the past few years and it seems like we have had a large amount of drops in the past month.

Hello,I'm currently working on integrating a application with RingCentral's video call feature. However, I'm encountering an issue when trying to open the video link within my application using an iframe. Unfortunately, the OAuth flow is not an option for me. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or alternative methods to incorporate the video link seamlessly into my application.Thank you for your assistance.

Hello allWe are having an issue with Poly c60 after an apparent recent Ringcentral firmware update where the bottom action bar is covering the Dialpad icon preventing the user from dialing anywhere, is there a display setting that I'm missing?

Does anyone know if there's an API which allows you to delete Unassigned extensions that do not have numbers assigned to them? They are called Ext. with No Device Assigned (so can be deleted without incurring billing). I have approx 15,000 unassigned extensions that need to be deleted manually at present to tidy up the account - very time consuming.

When trying to make a call using the Webphone from the JS SDK I face an error.typeerror: cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'effectivetype')

When registering for The Campaign Registry, it was clear that, even with conversational texting, we need to provide a way to opt out of texting. If someone opts out of conversational texting, there appears to be no way to block the texting feature on a number without blocking the calling as well. Does anyone have any insight here? We have customers who may opt out of texting but do want calls.

I see the city in my mobile app the person is calling from and not their phone number for caller ID. If I view missed calls afterwards, I can see the missed call's phone number. I don't need to see the city a call is coming from, I need to see their number. How do I fix this?

1) Will all my customer numbers in my Ring Central Contact that I communicate with already through SMS be already opted in for SMS . 2) Will RingCentral have an Opt in form that records the customer response to be opted in? 3) For customers that require to be opted in, where and who do I send their opt in data response to?

As an admin, I currently have the ability to force logout agents in NICE. How do I extend this capability to non-admin managers? Does "Agent Session Control Via API" handle this? I'm concerned that enabling this permission might be flipping more switches than intended.

LOGS Inside admin portal there are CALL LOGS, RECORDING LOGS AND FAX LOGS but somehow there are NO TEXT LOGS NO TEXT HISTORY NO TEXT INFO in TMOBILE PHONE CARRIER for example one can log in to one's account and see the TEXT LOG for every outgoing & incoming text plus time date duration & exact details of the text . With RC VOIP this should be an easy 123 basic option.

How do we get a full recording of a call that includes transfers either in a queue or out of a queue? I have recording turned on for the queue and I have incoming and outgoing call recording setup for the users in the queue. However, it appears that when they do a transfer, the call recording ends. Is there a way to get the entire recording so we can track the entire customer experience?

I have a call/ring group, such that calls will go to my smart phone app and physical phone at the same time. If I have my phone out and lock the screen before putting the phone in my pocket, and someone just happens to call, they'll get routed to voicemail right away as if I was hanging up on them by locking my screen. I don't want customers to think I'm avoiding their calls or have to explain this to them every time it happens (it's happened a few times in the last month). Is there a way to disable this (let calls go 20 seconds before V/M always)?

Hello,We are currently working on an application that involves consuming the RingCentral API, specifically this endpoint.Our application has a feature to indicate when a chat message has been edited by comparing the `creationTime` and `lastModifiedTime` fields. However, we've noticed that when a reaction is added to a message, it alters the `lastModifiedTime` of the post, which leads our application to incorrectly indicate that the post has been edited.I understand that the API currently does not support reactions, but is there a particular reason why a reaction changes the `lastModifiedTime`? Can this behavior be adjusted on your end so that reactions do not change the `lastModifiedTime`, or is there another endpoint or method we can use to more accurately determine if the text of a message has been edited?Any assistance or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Does anyone know RingCentral's official RTO & RPO figures? I need this to for my business insurers and our BCP. RTO - Recovery Time Objective and RTO Recovery Point Objective.I dont want to know how well the system/platform has performed. I need to know if/when the system goes down how long will it take for Ringcentral to restore service and once restored how much data will I loose.

I have 40+ employees that I'd like to text regularly via our desktop app. I see no way to create text groups of more than 10. Furthermore, I'd like to send all the texts to this group individually so they don't see who received or each other's response. All doing so without having to reenter 40 names each time. Can I accomplish this?

I can't figure out how to get a detailed download of call volume by hour for a period of time (like 6 months). The graph below is as close as I can get, but there is no way to easily see the hours.

I have Verizon for my cell service and have continuous 5G coverage all over the Phoenix area. As soon as I answer a call on my RC app, my 5G drops and so does the call. This has angered MANY customers, so much that I have lost business. Verizon says it is not an issue with their service, but with the RC app itself. Is there a setting on my phone or on the mobile app that I need to adjust?

I saw this question was asked back in 2016 and someone said they would add it to future feature requests (or something like that) - Do we have an update and has this feature been added? It would be SUPER helpful for work, especially when we are out of office for the holidays (over half of our 20,000+ clients use text messaging instead of calls). Thanks so much!

No available new numbers for area code 845 (Newburgh, NY) ? I created 4 yesterday. I have 1 more new user number to create and not able to.

New to ring central.I work for a mfg. company for sales and tech and we have a queue for the incoming tech calls.Average around 30-50 calls per hour.After a call is finished there is a 30 second pause until the next call appears.Is there a way to control this pause? Can i disable it or turn it on as I need it?Sometimes I want to answer the calls and get people taken care of ASAP and the 30 second pause makes the process take forever.To control this pause between calls would be a gamechanger.Any help is appreciated.

Account type: USDesktop version: 9.4.3-29474I started having this issue in the last week. After a call ends, I get a green button in the RingCentral for Windows desktop application asking if I want to switch call to this device.There isn't another active call. If I click the "Switch" button, it tries to perform the action but I just encounter dead air. The phone number listed in the popup changes over time (often, it's the number from my last call).If I do nothing, the green button will often disappear on it's own.Anyone else encounter this? Suggested solutions?P.S. Already rebooted, so that isn't a solution. ;-)
