We have phone numbers in different locations and for different marketing campaigns that route to our main number. Is there a way through the call log or some other means to identify which of those phone numbers are being used to call in?

When I listen to my voicemails on the Mac desktop app, on the RingCentral phone, and on the RingCentral app on my iPhone, the message is garbled. I can see the number that called, but the message sounds like a driving car. I am the only person at the company experiencing this problem. I'm not the only one using a Mac.

I've added Co-recipients to the mailboxes I need multiple users to access. However, I don't know how to now listen to any of the voicemails. They do not show up in each Co-recipients user apps. How do we access these voicemails?

I have almost 3000 numbers I'd like blocked from a number. How can I make that happen without manually typing each number?

We have a couple of desk phones that are configured as hot desk phones.This phones now are unable to login or logout and unable to make or receive calls.basic troubleshooting had already been done. e.g. power cycle, connect to a different LAN port. still the same.there is a total of 5 phones having this issue.

Hello,I have been with RC for over 5 years now. We are a very small company trying to use it for basic phone/attendant/voicemail services. I have never used it to make outgoing calls. It has only been used to incoming control.Well, now, I would like to set a new employee up at a computer and make outbound phone calls to our customers. We have RC Desktop installed and a headset with Mic. How in the world do we turn off RingOut??? It is ringing to my cell phone and then ringing out to the destination number after pressing 1. Very very frustrating that this is not obvious. We should simple be able to dial and number and make the call. When I click on call in RingCentral Desktop, it opens up RingCentral Phone App. makes me enter the phone number and 'my location'. HELP!!!!!! Also, when we have incoming calls, we should be able to answer the calls on this softphone. Some basic guidance would be appreciated.thxMike

I have a keyboard with media controls (volume, play, pause, next track, previous track, etc...) Recently I realized that the play button stops working correctly after I receive a call with Ring Central, it can be a phone call or a video call, but the thing is once I get a call the button stops working correctly. Supposedly, according to some things I've seen online, I can use the play button to answer the call. Once I end Ring Central's process and start it again the button behaves normally until I get another call. I realized the button would also work if I press the windows key along with the play button, but if I just press "Play" nothing happens until I restart Ring Central. This has happened on 3 different machines, 2 of them with a completely new installation of windows one with windows 10, and one with windows 11. I haven't tried just using the web version, but I would like to keep using the desktop version and be able to use my keyboar

Is there a way to set up auto-reply for texts?

I am not getting all of my inbound text messages. This has been going on for a few days. I sent myself separate text messages today in this order: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6" ... I only got 1, 4, 6 (out of order) and 5 .. I have had clients commenting that I have not responded to their text messages. I have not received them, nor have I received the notification emails from RingCentral. 

I have noticed this problem in latest windows 11 client installs on a domain, it installs fine on administrator accounts and the ringcentral app shortcut shows on desktop under the usersadministratorappdata ingcentral path. However, once you login as a standard user the shortcut is no longer there nor is it in the users????appdata ingcentral folder path. Its not a matter of pinning or creating a shortcut to a user or even putting into the publicdesktop folder as some suggested on another forum because it originally installs from the users administrator account, so if you end up creating a shortcut naturally you will get access denied because of the permissions not being set. I have noticed this only on Domain joined machines and non domain machines with windows 11. Ok, RC you might blame windows 11 for this, but im sure your devs can put a new client out there to fix this, it shouldn't be that difficult.The workaround I have found is

The RingCentral app has disappeared from the Start menu in a Windows 10 laptop and another Windows 10 desktop machine, apparently after a recent Windows update. The program was loading to a blank screen. After I updated to the latest version of the app, the program is now working, but it still doesn't show up in the Start menu. Any idea what's going on?

We have a few users who use headsets exclusively and would love to use the headset control function from the app, however when that is turned on, their headset controls work, but their Topaz signature pads do not initialize and clients cannot sign documents. Once they turn off the headset control button in the app and restart the computer it works. Weird interaction/interference between the RC software and the Topaz driver.

Phone app used to work injunction with desk phones. Dispatcher unable to leave desk top and use restroom because phone app not working for incoming calls. This feature was working!

Hi allUsing RC app on PC.I've noticed recently (last week or so) that when I click "Make a call" to dial a number, my keyboard numberpad allows me to type in the number to dial but pressing the "enter" key on the numberpad no longer initiates the dialing (it used to start dialling when I pressed enter on the numberpad part of my keyboard).Pressing the "enter" key on the main part of my keyboard does initiate the dial.Anyone experiencing a similar problem?Cheers

We have a group call queue on extension 2. What is supposed to happen is that the call handling means the call first goes to the user at extension 18 and, if they don't answer, go to the user at extension 16; if extension 16 doesn't answer, it should go to voicemail. However, once the client chooses extension 2, the phone never rings for extensions 18 and 16; the call rings for the allotted amount of time on the client side then goes to voicemail. The users at extensions and 18 and 16 get no notifications other than that a voicemail has been left. How do I fix this?

I need to allow a user not in a specific group to pick up the calls when that group is busy but don't want it to ring on his phone.

Let's say I place a call on hold in my office, then I walk to my associate's office and have a conversation with him. My associate wants to speak to the caller. Is there any way my associate can pick up the call holding in my office extension? Or do I need to walk back to my office and park the call or transfer the call to my associate's office? We have Yealink W56H handheld wireless phones.

We are not receiving any calls made from a landline. Any idea why?

I have a polycom IP 321 phone with RingCentral. When a call comes into our business or a call is transferred to my extension and I pick up the phone it doesn't pick up the ringing line it picks up line 2 and gives me a dial tone. I have to manually hit the "line 1" button to switch to that line. It never used to do that, it just started doing it a few months ago randomly. I've looked through all the menu options on the phone and can't figure out what the issue is or what might have changed to cause this. It is driving me crazy, any help anyone can provide would be appreciated! Thanks.

I run a small collections agency and use RingCentral to allow our workers to work remotely. With the new laws coming down we are finally allowed to text consumers who request to be have information texted to them. What I would like to do is when a text is sent to automatically include opt-out instructions to the consumer. Is there a way to do that in Ring Central that I'm just not seeing?

Does anyone on ringcentral staff know when the new Poly Edge E series phones, like the Edge E350, will be supported for assisted provisioning on RC? I can see the edge B series is supported but not the more advanced E series yet.

When using a Yealink deskphone with RingCentral, how do I stop from sending a voicemail once I am in the recording process? I start recording the vmail and then change my mind and do not want to send it? This is for a message that has not yet been sent.

Is there a way that I can allow a manager to listen to only his employees' call recordings?
