I am trying to see if my system has the capability of creating Queue priorities based on incoming caller IDs. So if a customer is a higher priority they get put to the front of the line.

Please can we get an audio cue when calls are successfully transferred. At the moment, as a recipient of a warm transfer, we have no idea if the caller has been passed to us or if we are still talking to the person doing the transfer. It would be good if we get an audio cue on both ends of the transfer so we can tell if the call has been transferred successfully or not.

Currently have a single level IVR set up through AT&T Office@Hand. I want to switch to a multi-level IVR, but receive the following message when I click on the drop down box "Warning: By switching to Multi-level IVR mode, all of your existing company call handling settings will be discarded. Please confirm that you wish to proceed"

Hi Team--Just wanted to know if we had downtime last September 10, 2022 between 6AM to 9AM CST? Looks like there were calls that were not routed to agents who were logged in around the same intervals. Appreciate if you can confirm this.

Our office has agents working from home on cell phones. The IVR is set to external transfer to the cell numbers, based on what prompt number the caller chooses from the IVR. How can I see what prompt number a caller choose or how many calls are being transferred to each cell phone?

We would like to block/remove the extension number of a particular call queue when a user dials by name (internally) in the dial pad. So if we tell our staff to use "Bill Review" as dial by name to reach the group, we do not want them to see that they are calling extension 1234.The purpose is so that they cannot give out the extension and callers enter via an IVR. This would be for internal use only.....Has anyone done this or can it be done?

How do I remove a desk phone from user but keep the phone number and extension assigned?! We had an unassigned extension (linked to a desk phone) that I assigned to a user but she is NOT using the desk phone attached to the phone number/extension.

One of my team members is experiencing an issue much like the one mentioned here:https://community.ringcentral.com/questions/106691/i-am-being-put-on-hold.htmlAgent A accepts an incoming call from PNC. Agent A puts PNC on hold and calls agent B to make a warm transfer. As soon as agent B picks up, agent A's ringcentral puts agent A on hold. When agent A attempts to un-hold himself, the line between agent A and PNC is disconnected.None of my other team members are experiencing this issue. Does anyone have any support or clue why this is happening?

Company wide our users are starting to experience Microsoft Teams meetings closing immediately a RingCentral desktop call comes in.I saw a thread somewhere to turn off Headset controls in RingCentral. That seems to have worked for us for now. Does anyone know why that setting is causing this to happen?

Hello! We just found out that all of our agents have the ability to toggle this and make them unavailable for queue calls, is there a way to lock that? They should only be going to DND for break and lunch....

I Have looked everywhere but cannot find this answer , is there a way we can have the ability for users to not change their "Accept call queue status" .Ideally i want this button gone. The toggle falls under Member status rather than queue status so changing the "Allow members to change their queue status" to Not allowed does not nothing.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our “Music on Hold” (the advertising message or music that callers hear while on hold) runs about 6 minutes in length.With your system the message will “rewind” to the very beginning each time the client goes on hold rather fall to a random location during the message.This only allows callers the option to hear a portion of the first part of the message depending on how long they are on hold of course.Monotonous for repeat callers.SolutionSome of Ring Central’s competing service providers have solved this problem by having their contracted message on hold service providers break the message into 4 or 5 sound files.Using this method the message rotates or falls in random fashion so repeat callers don’t her the same old message every time they call or are put on hold.

If I place a call on hold in my office, and I want to pick up that same call (without transferring) from another extension - how do I do that? We have the WORST version of Polycom...150.Thanks in advance!

Hello,We use a live answer call queue during business hours and IVR for after hours. In Multi-Level IVR Settings, we cannot choose anything other than IVR for the main line to ring into during work hours, so we are having to use a custom answering rule to direct to the queue. (I see direct to call queue option on closed hours, but not open???)This interferes with our other custom answering rules (for holidays, etc) and we are having to turn off our main rule and remember to turn it back on when we return to the office.There just has to be a better way?

LOB Analytics gives me the number of inbound calls answered, and the number of outbound calls connected. I'm looking for the number of outbound calls that were answered. Where do I find that number?

I am looking for a report on the number of faxes sent/received by all users within the last year. I can't find where this is reported other than the list by the user's names. Which does not have a time frame associated with the numbers.

We've been seeing that RingCentral Video meetings make Intel MacBook Air computers freeze and lock up after turning on video or sharing a screen. I started hearing reports from employees in my account last month. It hasn't gotten any better. Has anyone else noticed this or seen this issue? The RC support teams close the tickets for my team about 5 seconds after the employee reports their video meeting isn't locking up their system after they reinstall the RC App. However, after reinstalling the app on their computer, the issue reappears after one or two meetings. This issue does not affect any MacBook Air computers running on Apple's M1 chips.

Wir nutzten seit kurzem die Software Unify und logischerweise auch die dazugehörige Anlage.Wir haben allerdings aktuell folgendes Problem.Das Szenario ist wie folgt:User 1 telefoniert, sobald ein zweiter Anruf allerdings eingeht, klingelt es bei dem Anrufer einfach durch, sprich es gibt kein Besetzzeichen.Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das umzustellen?Sonst müsste man bei jedem Anruf ja theoretisch händisch auf die Option "nicht stören" gehen und dies ist nicht gerade praktikabel.Vielen Dank und Viele Grüße

I have several users with T-Mobile iPhones with the RingCentral app. The Internet connection and wifi are all stable. However, multiple users have repeated instances where the RC app shows that it is reconnecting, frequently while the user is trying to take or make a call. The iPhones are all on wifi, have the latest version of iOS, and the latest version of the RC app. When a user has this issue, we reboot their iPhone, but it doesn't always help. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks.

I have the RC App on my IPhone. I do not have an option for HUD in the more options. Does HUD not work on an IPhone. I know it works on other models.

I started out trying to get my mobile android app to work on my pixel 6 pro, but it keeps failing to login. I then tried to open a support ticket for help with that, but it says I need to login. When I try to login I get Failed Login - 401 every time (see picture). I tried chat and that didn't have anything remotely close to what's happening here. I reset my password and that didn't help. I cleared all my cookies and cache because that was something I found in the community here and that didn't work. I can login to the admin portal in chrome on windows 10 with my credentials, so I know they are correct, they just won't work in the RingCentral support area. Can anyone here give me any other ideas how to proceed with getting support from RingCentral? Thanks in advance.
