Hello, as of lately, I am not able to receive calls. The "accept queue calls" toggle switch does not even show up for me personally. I am not sure if this is a bug or an administrative setting that is switched off for me. Any help is appreciated here. Thank you.

I have a suggestion. Please remove the automated helper when calling in to tech support. I had an issue regarding paging and the automated system started talking about my custom call settings and hours and was asking to remove them. If that would have occurred it would have caused major issues. The automated system said those settings are why my phone was not working, and suggested removing them. I knew better, but I hate to think of one of your other customers calling in and removing all their call queue settings for no reason and creating bigger issues because the IVR suggested it. I called in a week ago for a separate issue, and the automated system suggested the same thing. I have always received great support from the live agents, the IVR helper is bad and should be removed. I have an unusual issue with multiple users of the RingCentral Desktop App using the exact same version of the app (app version shown via Help - About). One staff member can see a host of options while another user can see only a few when click into Settings. I thought perhaps there was a View More or some other setting somewhere but I cannot find it. It may be that one or more users have a corrupt Windows but it could be simply they installed so many RC App upgrades over time the registry keys are corrupt for the RC app. Is there an uninstall script when Uninstall does not clean up? Or is there an actual show all button somewhere? One example (of many) would be the HD checkbox not being visible for one of the users.

In Mac OSX, natively, a user can use Option + Left arrow or Option + Right arrow to move the cursor back one word or forward one word. That's a consistent behavior in every application on the Mac.RingCentral App introduced additional keyboard shortcuts in 22.1.20.341 Web, 22.1.11.2682 Mac (Intel) release that changes the native behavior. In RingCentral App, using Option + Left arrow takes a user back in history. If a user is typing a message and wants to go back a word, they'd use Option + Left arrow, but RingCentral App will take them to the previous history. That means, the user can't use native OSX shortcut and their attention is diverted away from typing the message on to the previous history. You can no longer navigate forward and backward words with Option + Left or Right because RC has changed this to be used for non-disableable app navigation shortcuts. I cannot express how frustrating this is as someone who uses these hotkeys constantly and has never experienced an app that overrode those keys when focused on a text box. This should be reverted or given an enable/disable option immediately.This also violates Apple's Human Interface Guidelines which states"Use the Option key as a modifier sparingly.""Avoid creating a new shortcut by adding a modifier to an existing unrelated shortcut."

Hi, our office is brand new to Ring Central. Is there a way to limit who can call you? For example, I only want members of my team to be able to reach me directly - not all Ring Central users across campus.

Why does the ask first on the dial pad not work for all phones in my company? I am either thinking it is 1. They are not using app 2. They are using the VVX250 phones. For the people it does not work for I hit ask first and then it will just hang up on them. Can someone give me a answer please....

We have a lot of stability and network quality issues with the RC application and taking/receiving phone calls. After spending an extensive amount of time troubleshooting we have concluded that this is because the application is forcing the phone to toggle between WIFI and mobile data based on the available signal or lack there of. Turning the WIFI off on the mobile seems to work but is certainly not a long term solution as other apps and phone back-ups require WIFI to function.The only options you have are:1. WIFI or Mobile Data2. WIFI or Carrier Minutes 3. Carrier Minutes Only (Which essentially bypasses the application and full functionality including phone recordings will no longer work.There needs to be a 4th option here for the mobile phone RC application to include: Mobile Data only.

I just set up my voicemail boxes with several "message only extension" group mailboxes with custom greetings which are accessible from the main company greeting (which is also a custom greeting--caller presses "1", "2", or "3", etc.). There is a long delay between the caller selecting one of the extensions and when that extension's greeting plays. It is almost 10 seconds, which seems unusually long to me.Is there any way to shorten that delay?

A couple of users here are experiencing an issue when they try to transfer a call, the receiver can't hear them speaking so they can't announce the caller.Now, disclaimers, I started here a week ago, I'm new to Ringcentral. My predecessor did a pretty good hand over for most of it but didn't mention this issue. We have 2 businesses in one system and we want certain extensions to have 1 caller ID and another extension have another caller ID. There is an alternate caller ID tab but you can only chose between the main number and the extension phone numbers. We have another incoming line that is routed to certain extensions and set up as another site, but does not populate in the alternate Caller ID Options. How do I get these extensions to have an alternate Caller ID ?

Hello. When I try to place a call, it takes 15-20 seconds for anything to happen. It's like it doesn't register any clicks. It doesn't matter if I try to place the call from call history or manually typing the number (typing is fine) and clicking the call button. When an inbound call comes, I click the icon to answer the call and it takes 15-20 seconds to register. The call almost always goes to voicemail because it takes so long.I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app several times and nothing seems to help. This is my first time using RingCentral. Not fun so far, please help :(

For the last few days, any sms message I try to send keeps failing. I can receive them but I am not able to respond to my clients.

I integrate RingCentral into my CRM (Hubspot). When I make a call from my PC, Ring Central records my call and inputs the call into my CRM so other can hear it later. When I call from my phone using the Ring Central app, the call is not recorded. Is it possible to have calls made from the app on my phone recorded into my CRM?

Team, customer has asked about the ability to view deleted faxes in the new app. They were informed that when a notification is received for a fax, and they delete the email notification it actually deletes the fax itself. They used to be able to view the deleted in the old RC phone app. Now they have switched to RC App, to view deletes, they are required to login to the customer portal online. ASK: is there an update to show all current and deleted faxes in the unified app?

I have a user that sometimes use call forwarding to her mobile. She has asked if it is possible to remove the prompt when answering her mobile, she needs to press i think 1# to answer the call on her mobile. Can this be removed so when she answers her mobile it goes straight to the forwarded call?

I have a receptionist who would take the calls forwarded to her mobile. If the receptionist does not pick up the call it would go to the voice mail box. If she answers then I have few questions highlighted in red in the the picture. Can you confirm this is possible to achieve?

I perform training to virtually. There is a portion of the training where I need to be able to make outbound calls that the trainees need to listen to how I handle. I will be on the video meeting through the meeting link, however I will join the audio through a dial in. When doing this, I am wondering if there is a set amount of time since I am getting disconnected. The phone will disconnect, but it will allow me to dial in again and rejoin. Trying to figure out if there is a set amount of time or if there is a way to avoid the call from disconnecting.

Every time I end a call the phone does not actually hangup and I have to close out of the phone app.

We'd like to add a stobe light ringer to a polycom phone. Our environment is loud and sometimes it's impossible to hear the phone ring.

Is there a way to use click to dial on numbers in an excel file? I am using the RC desktop app for Microsoft 365, FYI.
