We are not getting a talk path on our VVX250 desk phones. No matter who I call. Call connects but neither party get audio. The talk path works on inbound calls.

Who do I contact if I need help creating a new announcement-only queue, specifically recording the outgoing voice announcement? The RChee is not helpful, and when I try to create a ticket, I get an error and it never submits.

It seems LLDP is always getting off even if its on. When I turn it off then on again, it starts LLDP again for a couple of minute, then goes down again. I'm trying to configure voice vlan with those VVX 450 and without LLDP, it is impossible.

We just set up a client with Yealink T48S model phones and when attempting to send a call direct to voicemail by pressing Transfer > *0+ext but we hear "I'm sorry. You have dialed an incorrect extension". I contacted RC support and was told this function was not available on the Yealink model phones which was also confirmed by Tier 2 and Tier 3 support. The reason given was: "The DTMF Touchtone is only working for Cisco and Polycom Phones"Will this function ever be available to work on Yealink phones? Is there nothing that can be done to make it work? I can't imagine DTMF signaling is any different on a Yealink IP phone than any other IP phone. Please advise. Wanted to remove the Silent message since not all of the customer are leaving voicemail their just staying on the line. For Example, Lisa called me on my phone number, she didnt really leave me a voicemail she just stayed on the line for 5 secs and hungs up, upon receiving my email notification, when i play the recording its just a silence on the line for the voicemail and theres really nothing in there. So if possible can we remove the Silence on the line and just play the message if there was really a message on the voicemail.

We are moving our main office, changing our internet provider and taking the opportunity to upgrade some of our internal infrastructure i.e new router (ASUS ZenWi-Fi AX) and add a poe switch. Are there any pitfalls we need to be aware of? Should we allocate the phones reserved IP addresses?

Ring Central "Classic" would show the icon from a status next to the user name in the left hand column of the app. Hovering over the icon would show the status text (including custom status text). This is not implemented in the new Ring Central App.As we are all working remotely we find this was a good feature. I can tell if someone is simply "out of office", or even "Running" or "Having Lunch".This is NOT the same as DND, it conveys much more information and DND affects other behaviours too.Please re-implement this missing feature in the new Ring Central App

Was the ability to see the call map feature taken out of the QOS section in analytics?

We have a call queue setup. Calls come into our main number and ring first at the front desk. If she doesn't answer, they are routed sequentially to the other numbers.Recently something changed. Our front desk always had call waiting enabled. If she was on a call, she would see a new call coming in, and she could answer it. Now she does not see the new call coming it, it just routes directly to the next number in the queue.So basically, we had call waiting in a call queue, but it has been turned off somehow.How do we turn it back on?

We run a call center where inbound calls are taken by our front line customer service agents and then transferred to specific teams to help assist our customers. The calls are put in a queue rather than sent to a specific agent. This is causing difficulties accessing the call recording of the second half of the call once transferred. The main reason we review the calls recording is for compliance, and our call monitoring department is unable to piece together all of these severed calls. Could you please make it so that internal transferred calls are bound together, so half the recording isn't missing?? I know the recordings are somewhere in the system, so I don't understand why they can't be linked. The current model you have now is not user friendly for call monitoring and transfers. I see this has been brought up by your users in the past, but I don't see much follow through on RC's end. Could you please clarify if I'm mistaken and if there are any plans to

I have been using the same number for 2 years and 2 months ago it became long distance and registered to another city 3 hours away even though in Ring Central portal it still says local city. Ring Central has not acknowledged this as an issue. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Has anyone been able to successfully deploy the Ring Central Dekstop app with a powershell script or win32 app via Microsoft Intune?

Microsoft Teams, Google Voice, Phone, Audible, Disney+ and all of my other audio apps can interface with my car's built-in UConnect audio system, but not RingCentral.

Using the RingCentral app (which sucks compared to the RC Phone app), doesn't even show limited extensions. What the hell? How are we supposed to call these people?

Is there a way to have RingCentral messages in the Windows app pop up BUT not include the content of the message? Or is it only possible to disable them (DND) or show the message content on the pop up?

I wish there was a feature to ring the user's physical phone first and not the app.

I am trying to figure out why I no longer seem to receive "sound" notifications for texts on the new version of Ring Central For Desktop..i used to.So now, if I'm not looking right at it, I do not know that there's a text - this is the same for both my Mac & PC.

One of our customers has Zentinel TCIV-2 Video/Audio intercoms at their facilities and would like to have those devices call our offices after hours for support. I contacted RC technical support and while the tech was extremely helpful, he wasn't positive this functionality will work as desired. One thing that's throwing a wrench in our configuration is that we don't want to be able to call from our office TO the call boxes, just from the call boxes to our office. We're also potentially going to need dozens of these devices setup, which is something we'd prefer not to have to assign phone numbers for.I've read through this post from 2017 where a user had a number configured, so I know the integration is possible, but we'd prefer to cut out the extra cost/time/configuration for setting up dozens of numbers, devices, and users.

I'm really happy with the new HUD on the desktop app. My preference is to have the HUD undocked on a separate screen so I can stay on the messages section on the main window but also have the HUD open. Is it possible to have this preference saved or remembered for the next time I open the app?

My company has been using RC for ~10 years, and we've had a HUD via the RC 'Phone App' for 5 of those. We've come to rely on the HUD as a visual insight into the status of other users, who's tied up on a call, who's on lunch, etc. Frankly, it might be the feature we value the most in the app.For a long time now I have been watching RC's progress with the new app, waiting for it to be fully functional before I considered migrating my users. This evening I downloaded the new (desktop) app to evaluate it and, much to my shock and surprise, it doesn't appear that this app has a HUD. I just can't imagine this to be true, though, so I am hoping that I've missed a setting somewhere and that it can be turned on? For some reason, I've stopped being able to see when a specific user is on a call. I've checked under Presence and Permissions, made sure we all have permission to see, and restarted the affected phones. No dice. Is there maybe something on the deskphone itself that I need to adjust? I can see when other people in the office are on the phone, it seems to only be one extension.We are only on Deskphone, not any of the mobile apps or desktop apps.
