When we place a shared line call on hold it will ring on the other phones that can access the shared line. Isn't this the intended way it's supposed to work? Is there a way to change this? We have a user claiming that it was never working that way before and wants it changed, but I've always experienced the above behavior and can't see a setting for this in the system.

Starting on 3/31/21, 3 of our extensions started showing in the incorrect presence status. These 3 extensions always show (red light and red dot on the person) that they are on an active call for all of the other extensions.In working with support, we have performed a factory reset on these 3 extension and re-provisioned them, but that hasn't solve the issue.Has anyone else experience this issue or have additional recommendations?

Recently we have been receiving this message on our cell phones Network Unstable. And on our deskphone, sometimes the calls don't even come through, they randomly go directly to voicemail. Support wasn't much help. Is anyone having this issue?

We created an url which opens when we receive a phone call to our Ring Central soft phone. But when we restart the computer the url is missing. We spoke to Ring Central customer service and they explain that is normal. It will not keep the url in the softphone. So our only solution is to re-paste the url everyday in the soft phone.

How to transfer voicemail of one extension to another?

Would love to see the option for creating recurring meetings with notifications within the Ring Central app as opposed to linking to external calendars. Especially for internal teams. ,It would be awesome if when we schedule a meeting, specifically for a created team, there was an option to make it recurring as well as a notification option within the platform rather than using external calendars, etc.

I have not updated to Desktop Meetings v21.1 because of this line in the changelog - why is this regression being implemented? This is going to severely hinder my ability to screen share with pairing partners as a developer - especially so as I have a high resolution widescreen monitor

We have some call queues and we need to know what happend when a call is redirected to a call queue.All the numbers in call queue ring at same time and the call goes to the first who take the phone call?Is possible to order the call queue and assing a response priority order with a seconds interval to jump to next extension in queue if the previous extensions is bussy or dont pick up the phone?Thanks

Hi all, I have my calls setup simultaneously, my issue is that even if someone answered the call all my other users get a missed call notification.

We have a door lock that is linked to an extension with an Analog converter, so that calling the extension unlocks the door.By upgrading this to a full User license, we are able to block external calls to the door lock's DID. However, there's a loophole because outside callers can get to an IVR menu and (if they knew the right extension) trigger the door lock. Ideally, we want to block ALL calls from triggering the lock, except for a limited number of internal extensions. However, our testing of the "Block All Calls" setting found that internal extensions bypass this setting.Has anyone found a resolution to this issue?

HelloIn RingCentral Classic, I could create folders, add teams to folder and in the left sidebar, the teams would automatically sort top to bottom in recency. ie - a new post in a team would push that team to the top of the folder list (in addition to bolding the team name.)In the new Ring Central (Mac M1) - the order of the teams seems to be fixed within the folders. I can drag a team to the top and it stays there. A new post in another team turns the team bold but does not re-sort the order of the teams within the folder.All of my Direct Messages re-sort correctly - but none of them are in folders. So I'm thinking it is a folder function.Anyone else see the same behavior?

As the title expresses, several users in my organization aren't receiving calls specifically on the mobile app - with zero changes to the system. It was working flawlessly earlier today. The desktop app still functions properly and the desk phones still work for those who use them. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions? Hi, I need to add a mobile number to the directory and assigned it as one of the options to call.

Anyone else have issues using AirPods (or any bluetooth headset) with the RingCentral Mac app? I can hear audio just fine but there seems to be a delay when the mic starts picking up my voice. When I start speaking others can not hear my voice (or the audio is very quiet) for about 1-2 seconds. I've had ongoing issues with RingCentral freezing regularly whilst commencing a video call and often whilst screen sharing This requires me to force quit the app to get out of the locked screen. I'm on a Mac running the latest version of Big Sur and the current version of ring central. . I have an active ticket with Ring Central who have acknowledged the issue and have no fix. Has anyone found a solution for this?

Our previous system let us Page a *group* of phones, and then let someone pick up a phone and talk to the person Paging. This like a hybrid of Intercom and Paging. It doesn't seem to be possible in RC - as the support page states: "Paging is a one-way broadcast on one or multiple devices/users, while Intercom is a peer-to-peer, two-way communication between two devices/users.
