Just went live on RC with ported number on 1/20/2020. Am using Mail app in macOS. Have turned on email notifications with transcribed text and audio recordings.Mail app has a built in mp3 player that shows play/stop and sound level controls, and how long the audio is.  Email notifications from RC regarding changes to the account play fine in the Mail app. Email notifications from RC with voicemail from incoming calls show Error instead of the iconic triangular play button. But you can download and play from the Macs desktop the mp3 file from the same email that shows Error, so the mp3 file is ok. If use webmail to look at the email, can also download the mp3 there as well.  If look at same email on another Mac with Mojave Mail app also has same Error issue.  Have US RC account. Using macOS Mojave latest updates 10.14.6. Affects one user but only have one user account (small non-profit), so affects all users.

I have called several times the transfer/port customer service to no avail. I have attempted to create a transfer ticket and it has been rejected. I have asked our account manager to assist and he states its out of his area. What next?

Hello. I am using RC to teach a virtual class. I would like to set up some sub-chats so that small groups could chat amongst themselves without broadcasting that to the entire group.For example, I have a class of 16 and I want to subdivide them in to 4 groups of 4. Is it possible to create 4 groups for that purpose?Please let me know if you need further clarification.Thanks in advance!!!

Hi, I'm getting a bit disenchanted with this system. I call in to the help desk , they promise to call back and if I'm lucky they call me back a few hours after they tell me they will - is ring central - can somebody tell me about scheduling conferences calls? I explained to the rep i can get it working with gmail but not our corporate exchange account- beginning to doubt my decision to go with ring central

I am fairly certain that I used to be able to do this. I want to be able to hyperlink to a Glip query / search. For example, I want to search all of my team's Glip messages on John Doe and link to that search in a CRM. How do I do this.

I recently updated the RingCentral app on my Windows 10 desktop. Since the update, all lines (direct dial and main number) in the office (14 lines) ring on my phone. Also, if I answer a call on my Plantronics headset, I can not transfer calls to another extension. I have to put the call on hold, pick up the call from the handheld and then transfer. I am the person all calls funnel through when they dial the main number. This is a very irritating.

If an SMS has the "Delivered" status, does that mean that it for sure got to their phone? Or at that point, could it still be blocked by the carrier? I have an instance of someone not getting SMS while the status says "Delivered."

Is there someplace that you list the text shortcuts for the various emojis?For example, :point_up: in your text will be replaced with the "finger pointing up" emoji, and :+1: will be replace with the "thumbs up" emoji.Where is a list of these shortcuts? When I selected Caller ID, I typed in a name of an employee who have an extension, nothing pop up. When I click add, it have a string of 5 digits. If this identify the person, how does it know that person without their last name?

I'm in a team of support members who receive incoming calls regularly. Since yesterday morning I have been experiencing an issue where an incoming call instantly fails and is counted as missed. I didn't look into it further because I ended up doing outgoing calls for the rest of the day and got too busy to think of it again.I figured the issue would have been resolved with a restart to my PC, but I see that isn't the case.I am interfacing with Ring Central through a page I had open in Firefox. I tried Chrome, but the situation got even stranger because queue calls wouldn't even be sent to me, even though I was in the queue.I've logged out and back into Ring Central, both on the Windows app I have installed, as well as the plugin on our ticket website. Does RingCentral offer any help against spam callers other than a link to the DoNotCall list, which we registered for in 2004?

We have had RingCentral for years and loved it. I left the firm for about a year and have came back to the exact same settings for notifications, yet we are receiving none. Only about 50% of our faxes seem to make it to the destination and we have no idea until 30 days later when we have to follow up on them. We need to fix this ASAP. All of our emails are in the transmittal result notification page, everything is accurate. There are no "rules" in my email account, they are not being sent elsewhere.

How do I set up voicemail on the phone?

When answering a call with the button on the Plantronics 5200, it will open up Teams and not answer the call.

When we add or remove a user from the call queue, the systems sends out an email notification stating, "You had been added to the call queue..." We are constantly adding and removing users for different reasons and the email notifications are unnecessary. I was told by support there is no way to turn this feature off. Thank you!

I have a RC Call Queue Query. Are you able to tell me the difference between Member Status and Queue Status?Each morning the queue manager would login and enable the queue status for those onsite and taking calls. I thought that the agents could toggle this themselves using the “Accept call queue calls” option?
