I was experiencing some strange call behavior. Calls to my main extension were going to other phone numbers which I had used in the past. Turns out that ALL of my old forwarding numbers, which were toggled off in Call Handling, had been toggled back on. Calls to my RC extension where ringing all ten of the numbers in my ring group. I still use those other forwarding rules from time to time but I had NOT toggled them on. This was something which RingCentral did. In talking with another company which uses RC, they experienced the SAME problem within the past few weeks where all numbers in their ring group were inexplicably toggled on.

I successfully ported one of my phone numbers from Ring Central to 8X8The VoiP works but messages still arrive at Ring Central.

I am supposed to have a dedicated fax number, but when you call, it gives a message with options. How to eliminate that and just accept the fax?

With Ring Central App people are getting network unstable messages and calls are dropping. This didn't happen with the RC Phone app. PLEASE FIX THIS.

We have a user utilizing the RingCentral app on her iPhone. When she tries to merge calls she receives this error. I have confirmed that she has the most up to date iOS software, the latest version of the RingCentral app, and has also uninstalled and re-installed the app with no luck. I spoke with Ahmad Bahauddin and he let me know this was a a bug issue with reference number COOPS-6859 .We have multiple users on iPhones who are not experiencing this error. Is there a reason this is only affecting one of our users? Additionally, is this something our other iPhone users should expect to experience in the near future?I was told that there is currently no work around for this solution. Please advise

Prompt says "connecting" but it never does connect

We are hoping to be able to use a custom cover page when using the Ring Central Phone app (Android). I know you can create a custom cover page using the RC Phone app on Windows desktop, but can't seem to find a way to do it on mobile (or at least attach the custom to the app). Basically - Have MD's that want to send prescriptions from taking a photo with their phone and sending it via fax with a custom, HIPAA approved cover sheet.

Hi Team,We need that under live report we can identify1.Outbound calls and inbound calls2.caller id or phone number for incoming calls3.caller id or phone number for calls on wait4.Live call time as well . Currently it does not show live call time.5. DND feature where we can put agents on break from live report section.6.Agents Login and logout feature under admin profile. Right now and admin cannot logout an agent.

So I was prompted to update to the newest version of the Ring Central softphone application for my desktop (workstation) and believing it would be better I did so. Now I'm getting Error Code 0xc0000018 "The application was unable to start correctly" and am given only the option to click ok to close the dialog box. This after an hour and half of installing, uninstalling, and troubleshooting the application directly from the Ring Central Support page. Any one else have this problem and if so how did you resolve it?

We are aware of pressing transfer>blind>*0>ext# to send a call straight to another user's VM but this does not work with our BLF keys. Reception desk uses Polycom VVX450 with sidecar so we have many BLF keys and no need to memorize all user's 4 digit extensions.

We want to turn on the giphy feature, however, when we set the rating to "G" we still see a lot of inappropriate gifs. Is anyone else experiencing this? Its especially related around animated gifs.

With the newer version of Ring Central app, the developing team also included to show time stamps on every text that you send or receive. Which is annoying at times because me and my coworker text a lot for business and on my phone screen it only shows 3-4 msgs and 8 time stamps when those msgs were texted which is basically the same time i.e. less than within a min texting time.So ideally like how iPhone's iMessage has a feature of hiding the time stamp and slide left on the text message to see what time it was recd or sent will save a lot of space on screen for back in forth texters like me. If we cannot have the feature like iMessage , we can always go back to the previous texting time stamp patterns.To be honest - its the most annoying thing to see time stamps more than texts their(highlighted with red lines) - for more clarifications I've attached a text snapshot between 2 co-workers.

Need to have the ability to save entire text / SMS conversations.As a business, I need to be able to record entire conversations that I have with my customers. Heck, I'd be happy with being able to go to the web app, click a few buttons and save each conversation of interest manually and separately. But even this simple work around isn't there.

If we get voicemail in our phone and if I am not currently on my RC desktop, is there any way to get the voicemail from my RC number?I know voicemail can be get from calling phone number, but I am sure with RC numbers. What process need to follow to check all my voicemail without getting into desktop app ?

Sent an invite to a potential user. User did not activate. We no longer want the user activated, but user shows up in contact list with only option "Re-Invite". How do I remove the unwanted user from the contact list?

When I signed up to get my fax number, it said that I would be able to put my signature on faxed documents, but I can't find this feature anywhere. Can you please explain how I can do that? Thanks

Hi,I've got two robocaller monkeys on my back, been spamming me every 2-20 minutes for the past day now. I've manually blocked their numbers, but they're still able to leave voicemails. Is there ANY way (ideally from the iOS app) that these callers can be completely blocked from both calls and leaving voicemails? Thank you!

Is there a way to sync our hubspot contacts with Ringcentral? I though we could do it with zapier but it doesn't look to be the case, hopefully I am overlooking something?

Hello,For some reason, I am not getting voicemails in the RingCentral app or website. They are coming through my work email in Outlook. I'd rather be able to listen to the voicemails in the app. How can I fix this?Thank you!

Hi there! I am just hoping for a couple of usability upgrades for your platform. Primarily, I would like to be able to adjust notification settings across the whole organization for Teams App chats like I can for incoming calls, texts, and faxes. Currently each user has to change their own through preferences in the app. Secondly, I would like to be able to link these aforementioned App Team chats through email. Currently you are able to post via email, but I would like to be able to connect staff members to a Teams app chat via an email link. Generally, I am looking for a few more notification control options over the Teams Chat application so that we may integrate it into our daily safety check in system. A system like this require fairly specific notification requirements thus my email to you :)

There are 4 of us working in the call queue and we often have to transfer to one another as well as to other extensions. Is there a way for me to drop the call into an extension that will show the person that it's a transferred call with someone else on the line vs. just me calling? I want our employees to know if there's a customer on the other line waiting or if it's just another co-worker calling them.

How can SMS message can be printed from RingCentral desktop app? There I can see no print option given to print a conversation thread.

Have had several months of our SMS messages being blocked by Verizon. Anyone else having this issue? RC says no, but even with a brand new number, many of our messages to Verizon are blocked. Is happening with all of our staff. It's even happening to my own Verizon phone; so it's not that people are blocking us. It's a RC issue with Verizon. Happens when sending from the App and API. Probably the RC portal too but haven't tried.

,Our medical office has clinicians at two locations with two different RingCentral extensions and also a main operator who transfers calls to both locations from a third number. Oftentimes a patient will call and leave a voicemail at the wrong location. Is there a way to transfer A SINGLE voice message to another RingCentral extension voicemail? (these numbers are not in the same que) The only way we have found uses e-mail with the message as a voice/audio attachment but this is not a secure option for our office.
